Dear Amelia, Gua [Kua] numbers (or commonly known as Eight House or Ba Cai Feng Shui belongs to the Compass School of Feng Shui. Both Gua (Kua) and Flying Star belongs to the Compass School of Feng Shui. Frankly, there are quite alot of resources in this site as well as I believe many other sites on it. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: amelia seah wrote: Does the Kua number works with the Flying star or both latter works independently. I would like to know the flying star but how does this work?

Dear Angelia, 1. Frankly, instinctively, we should look at the bedroom layout and always sleep in a "comfortable" natural position. 2. Either sleeping under one of our four best directions AND/or sleeping in a favourable Flying Star sector(s) are both considered NICE-TO-HAVE and not a must have. However, if we do encounter very bad flying star numbers like #5 and or #2 and or with #9, then, these are the worst stars and if so, we should or if could avoid sleeping within these sectors. For other flying star combinations, they are usually of a lower concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Sorry, can you clarify your message. For example, do you mean that your main door has say two panels. Some homes have 1 big door panel with a smaller side panel = 1 door and side panel. This panel is normally not opened all the time. If you have two equal doors, usually one door is not opened. If you have 1 big door panel with a smaller side panel, so long as the lamp post hits this smaller panel, (i.e. this smaller panel faces the lamp post directly) and your main door is "saved" from attack from the lamp post, then, this is fine or OK. As mentioned earlier, I had already listed most of the other common "cures" for the main door.

  5. 1. Under the area of "symbolism" in Chinese culture;in general there are twopictorial representations with horse(s):- 1.1. In the past, pictures were drawn of an "official" mounting a horse saddled with "treasure". This pictureis said to represent the hope that the person displaying this picture/painting can achieve a high post or position. 1.2 Nowadays, new pictures or paintings referring to the above are "rare". 2. Some Feng Shui practitioners recommend to their clients to place a statue of a galloping horse (there are several replicas of beautiful ancient galloping horses). This figurine is placed facing the main door. The Feng Shui practitioner would say that if on…

    1. Frankly, the two most commonly cited cases of concern with illicit affairs are: 1.1 Having a water position to the right side of thedoor. 1.2 Having two stoves in a home 2. As the mirror, will still reflect TWO persons' logically, there is no "lamp-post" or a third party reflected in the mirror. Thus the concern is more of having a photo behind the bed with 3 persons on it. Otherwise, what you had mentioned is not commonly mentioned that reflects "affairs". More likely, the concern is of having bad dreams or nightmares! Anonymous wrote: Hi Master, Thanks for your reply. 7. 1. Bigger picture where qi is suppose to come-into the home: Then under Flyng Star Feng Shui, one should determine where is the most "yang" qi that enters into the home. 1.1 Here, it may either be the main door i.e. standing inside the main door taking a reading out or usually it is the row of windows often with the most rooms where often again, the living room windows are. 2. For the interior layout plan, one should if possible look at some of these considerations: 2.1. Try to avoid kitchen especially the stove at North-West compass direction. Here, it is the centrepoint of the home, taking a reading towards NW direction. 2.2. Eight Mansions / Eight House to find hom…

  8. You can still use the proposed centrepoint and extend this to the family room. The rationale is because your "extended" room is tiny compared to larger spaces. However, if your "extended" room size is larger than 1,000 sq feet, then you can determine the centrepoint separately for this room.

  9. 1. It is good to hear u have an airconditioner with the ion cluster (often the settings include "shooting out" all negative ions, or " a blast of positive plus negative ions). 2. Try to go for the modern method. However, if one is concerned with aircon bills, then there are relatively good "air-cleaners". No point having an aircon, with such a feature and if the aircon is rarely use. 3. Imagine, how wonderful it would be like if one can stay near the vicinity of a water-fall such as Nigara falls or Victoria falls. (Not so much of people jumping down them to commit suicide; but rather) the idea of a waterfall is that such "furious" water frictions with the air to create …

It is always good to "visualise" roughly where - if possible the closest point to or the exact location of the "centre of gravity" of a home. If one is totally not sure, then, try to paste a copy of the layout plan on a cardboard. Then cut-out the outline of the entire layout plan. Then try to balance the entire layout plan onto a piece of nail. (If one can visualise, your original centrepoint in my opinion, will most likely not be balanced on a pin or nail point. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Thank for your prompt reply. Based on your suggestion, you have ignored the contributing factor of the BEDROOM 3 into the determination of the centerpoint. 11. 1. Earth element is abundant and is always "there" in every season i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. 2. Roughly, when spring is near it's end, earth element is suppose to be at it's strongest and this cycle appears at the end of summer, autumn etc.. 3. Although #2 is considered as the future prosperity, in a proper Flying star chart, all three variables need to be considered i.e. Mountain, Water and Base star. 4. Flying star Feng Shui is based on time dimensions. And while realistically, we can only analyse sectors in general for the next 20 years "average". There are so called: Yearly, Monthly, Daily, Hourly stars. Thus a sector may suddenly find itself with #2 …

    1. Realistically, there is no "special" cure or "things to do" for such an event. Therefore it is as simple as : Move or Don't move (full stop). Or like questions of Yes or No: Ivory or Ebony. 2. The purpose of giving good dates is already clearly mentioned to you.

  13. These are some of the considerations (without any ranking or priorities):- 1. Hopefully the stove is not directly at the NW cardinal point. If so, earth and water should be used i.e. Earthen pottery can be kept in a nearby cabinet close to or above or below the stove. And at least one bottled 1.5litre water should be placed nearby the stove area. This bottle should contain clear water. And replaced, say every few months since this water is not for drinking. 2. Preference for kitchen cabinet colours NOT to be bright chilli red or bright red colour. Earth tone or light grey or metallic or white is best. 3. Preference for even number of hobs e.g. 4 hobs instead of 3 hobs…

This is because there is only a chinese analysis just as in the Chinese Name service. However, there is really no English or non-Chineseanalysis that can be converted due to the difference in the Chinese/English languages. In either case, we currently do not offer this service to avoid confusion as the scope of service is only limited to the Chinese Business Name which also not commonly used even in Singapore. Thank you for your interest in our services." 3.1 Also, in my earlie…

If one already had purchased or stayed in an existing house or apartment, is it possible to get the earthquake to move your home so that it aligns to your good directions? Yes/No? 3. This "obession" with whether your home is East or West is "history" if one intends to stay in that specific home. Unless, you are saying that you intend to move-out. 4. One has to be realistic. And if trying to apply Feng Shui, make sure that there are no further "loss of wealth leaks" etc.. By applying proper Feng Shui. 5. If you close your eyes, the direction facing would'nt go…

Hi there, i apolize for shouting at you, i didn't know. In your reply, about option 2 and option1, the garage or bedroom, that is the kids livingroom. I have 3 living areas, and 4 bedrooms. The front door area, is marked front, and the back door is marked back. But, i have a negative area outside the house, which would make up the rectangle that my house would have been. This area is the Helpful people area. I have read in the book to put a spotlight or some kind of light in that area, so the light is aimed back at the house to illuminate and bring energy to the area. Is this the correct thing to do, and i am also in the process of planting 2 Foxtail fern palm trees, hal…

  20. 1. The test is whether the granite boundary wall is "tall" enough and/or "blocks" the view of the poison arrow to the main door. 2. Best to stand inside the home (main entrance area) and look outside. Imagine whether the structure pose a threat directly towards the main door. And if the structure is sideways, then it is no threat. 3. If still in doubt and if it is still considered as posing as a threat then, you may consider either: a ba gua convex mirror or a 6 hollow rod wind chime (as a viable alternative).

In my opinion, this is very minor or non-issue. Perhaps, some people may have the following "concerns":- 1. Symbolism Kitchen is where there are knifes, sharp objects and fire element. And maybe your friend feels uncomfortable with placing the family photos, because of these reasons. 2. Perhaps some feel that say using a magnet is not "permanent" and thus may affect "permanent" relationships. 3. Otherwise, if you check out this forum, this question has never surfaced in the last more than 10 or more years of this forum! 4. It is akin to some ridiculous people who say that one should not place shoes or shoe cabinet outside the main entrance area! In my country, rich …

If we apply mathemathics, 1/ 8 or one-eight probability that a home may have one's death or disaster at the frontage and equal probability in one's bedroom! 3. Frankly, in the Eight Mansion's sense, no one will die from it! Unless our mind takes over.. i.e. too intense auto suggestion and self-fullfilling prophecy -- takes over!) 4. Frankly, a statement such as this is either placing it thru your personal feelings or by "chance". As mentioned previously, on this same topic; your statement has nothing to do with the way Authentic Traditional Feng Shui has been used to analyse a home as well as checking to see if a water position may be placed there. Thus what you mentioned, is purely based on "personal feeling". Quote: Paramjeet K. wrote: Is placing a fish tank at the dining Room advisable ?

The above message highlights two major Arguments and my comment is that if necessary, one may need to consider drawing several Flying Star charts for such a home. Frankly, this is the most sensible approach which is adopted by many competent practitioners.
