    Dear Anon, Anyway, to make it easy, Cecil has already classify some careers into the five element relationship:- Water Career Advertising, Arts, Brewing, Communications, Computers, Drinks, Healing, Laundry, Literature, Manufacturing, Media, Music, Therapy It is not exhaustive, but it should serve as a guide. Just wearing colour isn't good enough. You will need to have more than that to make a weak wood stronger. You need to have as many areas in your life with more water element (ie colours, career, house etc). Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

    Dear Jenney, 1. You mentioned that you stopped using the toilet in the bedroom. Perhaps u can elaborate further the rationale for doing so. This is because it is quite common for the toilet to be in the masterbedroom. It is good that u do not use the toilet but I like to find out more how are u applying the principles. It is because the toilet bowl is directly along the auspicious line/location. 2. For the fire place in the centre of the house. Can u elaborate if it is being used. From what I can understand from your message, looks like your family is not using it. It is best not to use it unless you have a real need for it. If it is not used, leave it as it is and do not…

They been stay at a corner for 2days. Why this will happen? There isn't anything about Moth and Feng Shui as far as I know of. So I too agree that this is more like insects taking shelter rather than any particular signs. So don't think there is anything to worry about. Hope that helps. These are some considerations:- 1. It is NICE-to have and not a MUST-have to have even number of hobs. 2. TECHNICALLY a stove = Yang (Fire element). Yang is also represented by ODD numbers : 1, 3, 5 da da da di di di.... 3. The idea is that it is good to have a harmony of Yin and Yang. If the entire stove = Yang; then again technically; 2 or 4 hobs are PREFERRED since 2 or 4 = ??? Got it?

    Thanks Master. I guess as long as someone keep his/her house neat & tidy, he/she should be comfortable staying in it.

  8. Dear Lucas, In your case, for analysing your home using Feng Shui, you still have to consider your main door as facing North even if you do not open your main door most of the time. The fact that you have to enter and leave the house through this door remains `valid'. (Even if ch'i frequently comes in from the balcony or any of your rooms depending on the prevailing hot/cold air pressures). As your balcony is at the South, do also `ensure' that when you open your main door, avoid ch'i flowing direct out from the main door to the `south' balcony (if you have not considered this already). In traditional Feng Shui, it is utmost important to determine the `centre' of the hous…

  9. 1. In general, Flying star is about the "birth-chart" of your home. 2. Like everyone that has a birthday, the home is suppose also to have a birthday. Anonymous wrote: my secodn question is that in 2009 NW is good. But acc to my Kua number it is not a good direction for me. My kitchen is in NW. So what shoudl i do ? do i still need to activitate it or not? 3. For Flying Star(s) if a good sector is good, it depends on whether it is feasible or not to "activate" the good direction as you had mentioned above 2009 NW is good. 4. Thus activating a sector based on Flying star is distinct from your personal Gua (kua number). Anonymous wrote: I am confused about personal gu…

  10. Hello Master I am in the process of building my dream family home and reading through the web I could not find a definitive answer regarding the front door and front gate alignment. I am looking to build the gate similar to the photos that is attached. Please provide some insight as to this placement is good or bad or is there something that can be done to counter the bad. I know that the design of the wrought iron should have no sharps spear heads. Do you require more information such as floor plans or direction of front door? Thanking you in advance.

    Hi Cecil, Good morning. Would like to seek some advice on the following issues: 1) House number: Sty #05 and Unit number 314. Hence when read together, it appear to be 5314. In Cantonese, the essence read turns out to be bad meaning. Pls. advice whether is there a remedy to enhance it. I also suspect that my present infertility condition may be due to the bad meaning of the unit number. 2) I was told by some of the colleagues that wedding photo should not place on top of the bed head board. This will cause conflict & argument with the spouse/partner. Is it true? 3) Is there any feng shui tips/object that could be placed in my bedroom to enhance the chances of having t…

    While going thru your recent property review (only pics??) I google the project andfound something interesting while looking at the sitemap of The Quartz. The shape of the project reminds me of a fish...with blk 63 the "Fish head" and ending at blk 51 with "The tail". The development at the side of blk 61 n 59 looks like the fin. Aka "Koi" With more water at the nearby Punggol park wat implication does it offer to the resident of The Quartz?? Or does it not? Maybe the developer purposely design it to look like this to compliment the huge water element at Punggol park. Related:

  16. In my opinion:- 1. Often, it is strongly recommended that the toilet/bath shares an external wall. 1.1. If so, it can never be in the centre or centrepoint of the house. 2. In many countries; even in Singapore, many modern landed properties have three levels and some even with a upper roof floor. 2.1. So all long as most of the toilets are at the same "place" or sector; I don't see why it is bad Feng Shui? 2.2. The idea is that the sewerage pipe(s) running into the home and also up to the upper floors are preferably e.g. one line up and one line down. 3. Thus rather than ask : IS there a cure? 3.1. It is more prudent to visually or imaginary "IMPOSE THE LOWER FLOOR PLA…

  17. Dear Kristina, 1. In my opinion, based on your initial feedback that the hous is beautiful, large and airy... you could perhaps, first apply the adage " If it ain't broken, don't fix it.". 2. Many people, actually do not need the help or `assistance' of Feng Shui to prosper or enjoy good luck. 3. This is because, majority of the time, a house with good Shapes and Forms (both external and internal of the house) provides a quantum leap in `LUCK'. 4. Feng Shui and other Chinese divinity methods is in some sense, all about increasing one's `LUCK'. 5. If one has a quantum leap i.e. excellent Shapes and Form; this is already a significant boost in LUCK. Any additional increa…

    As mentioned, previously; house number "tool" does not apply to ground level homes. If you are D.I.Y. then you may to understand and apply other Feng Shui tools. For example: Feng Shui uses two major Schools: Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui. Your question unfortunately is too general. Even if one wants to D.I.Y. the saying goes "Rome is not built in a single day." You may have to digest more;

    1. The clue here is that the Chinese Luck system is a holistic approach. 2. Thus, any person (human being)or thing (house) that has a birth-date should be considered. 3. Thus as a human being has a date of birth, I am sure a home also has especially it's date of completion where a Temporary Occupational Permit (TOP) has to be given. 4. The location where the partition has to be investigated. For example, for the home, a Flying Star chart should be constructed to determine whether a water position is suitable say at the main entrance area OR NOT. 5. Similiarly, the difference between bogus Feng Shui and authethic Feng Shui is that Ba Zi has to be factored in. Ba zi when us…

    Dear Marci, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- Frankly, the rationale for finding the main entrance door is then to `calculate' the birth chart of the house. For this purpose, if we are not certain which door to use, a Feng Shui Master can do a calculation to find out which door is more suitable. In your case, for the `front' of the apartment, you could `soften' the wall by e.g. hanging a decorative painting to soften the wall e.g. a scenery painting or hanging a scroll. As for your back door, you can't do much here other than to `hide' the toilet e.g. close the door when not in use. Cecil

    Further to what I had mentioned earlier:- 1. In this real world of today; to make sense; it is best for an individual to focus on the micro-level. 2. There are two levels: macro and micro. 2.1. Macro refers to the industry one is in. 2.2. Micro is about analysing what is one's MAIN or CORE job function one is hired to do. Thus, for a sales executive; the primary job is to close deals or sales = fire element. 3. Otherwise, some wise guy can argue about your job all day, all year long and still cannot come to the conclusion : what element your job is. 4. Anyway, as mentioned in the last message; many perform multi-skilling. And in today's real world, one's element can be mo…

  23. Further to what I had mentioned, do take note:- 1. In your case, do avoid having the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet (even if it is only) the basin.. 2. Do take note that the Guan Yin figurine is already seated on a lotus flower; then even if one purchase a single height altar; she (Guan Yin) is already elevated... only make sure that the ancestor tablet is placed lower than the "lotus flower" seat...

    Dear Jocelyn, Maybe, it would be better if I rephase it this way. NW and W are locations with the metal element. Unless one has done further analysis i.e. using the Flying Star to determine that there these sites are favourable. As metal wind chimes may inadvertently increase the `metal' element at these locations and make it inauspicious. For those who do not want to go further and use the Flying Star can if they really like to `experiment' placing e.g. a wind chime if they feel comfortable with it. The above regarding NW and W serves only as a caution where possible find out more if one is using Feng Shui to determine the `suitability ' of using the wind chime at the lo…
