Dear Chew Chin, Please see below:- Currently, I am in the 1. In the master You can apply the concept " If one cannot see it, it no longer becomes a threat ". So long as it is covered varing the height of the wall, it is ok. Where possible, give a higher height i.e. minimal false ceiling would be a better alternative as it gives a feeling of "space" rather than an enclosed feeling. The other alternative is to use two bamboo flutes e.g. -------------- beam / \ use two flutes / \ -------------- Place two wooden flutes to form the top profile of a Ba gua trigram. Here, the wooden flutes represent the Wood element where wood is used to destroy Earth or th…

I am replacing the floor in my bedroom. Originally I intended to put a wooden floor down. However then I heard that wooden floors sapped the energy of dragons, of which I am one. I dont particularly want to tile the floor. I would like to know If a fake laminate would be okay or if I could put a real wooden floor down and cover the area beneath my bed with a fabric. I cannot have carpet as I have a dust mite allergy

Master Cecil, My mother's bedroom in the south sector has MS 1, WS 6 and base star 3. The house and main door face west and south would be the spook sector. However, her kua is 9 and south is her excellent sector. Is the room asupicious for her? Thank you.

Dear Anon, Yes agree! If it is a small bedroom, the only sensible thing to do is to keep the bedroom tidy. For Feng Shui, cures and enhancements, have to go further than this small bedroom for success. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I live in an apartment where my bedroom is really small. It is only big enough to fit my bed at one wall (the connecting wall to the bathroom) and has less than a foot on the left hand side when you are facing the bed. There is about 5 feet at the bottom of the bed where my feet face a window. I can't turn my head to see out the door because the door is off to the side of that five feet. because the room is so small it is …

I posed the other entry below, but I can't respond to it on my computer. So I am responding in another post: Thank you so much for responding. The room is clean and I have done feng shui to the rest of the house, but am unable to much in this room because of how it is set up. Are there any bagua mirrors I should use or crystals? The rest of the house is good, but the bed can't be moved and it is on the wall connecting to the bathroom, under a fan and my head can't see out the door and my feet are close to the door. It is all bad chi and I don't know how to fix it. Any remedy help is appreciated....

Dear Sir/ Madam, Recently I bought a new house and have only just discovered it has really bad fengshui. For example, my house is a period 7 S2 facing, and the only bedroom is located in the North, which has a period star 3, Moutain Star & Water Star 7, as well being the 3 killings direction this year, and which happens to be my Liu Sha (6 killings) direction. I can't move, as I have spent all my money on this house, and my health is just going from bad to worse. What should I do? Any advice would be much appreciated. Yours Sincerely, Violet

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Priority should be given to the Water and Mountain stars. 2. If I read you correctly; when you mention "sitting" star; I believe you are refering to the base star or some call it the palace star. 3. Well, it is preferred to look more closely at the both the Water and Mountain stars vs just only the "sitting" star(s).

You wrote: "but i read that by feng shui around the bed should be free space if we want attract love in our life," In a court of law, what you wrote above is considered "Hear say" and not admissable in a court of law and no less in Feng Shui. = For sure!

1. Effective Feng Shui is a holistic approach. Ruchir P. wrote: Hi , I have bedroom located in south west direction of house. The bedroom also has attached bathroom with toilet in south west direction of room. Is that good? 2. In two sentences, I really can't possible tell. As no Shapes and Forms nor Compass School of Feng Shui is used, here. 3. Holistic Feng Shui is about: 3.1. Enhancing good qi in a home and 3.2. Reducing or neutrasing bad qi in a home. 4. Your question is too general. 5. If youwant to find out whether Year of tiger 2010 is good or not, appreciate, if you can review this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm

Dear Diana, Under the Eight House Theory, it is good to learn that the house is considered suitable for your husband. Especially if he is the breadwinner. One should not be too concerned if the main door is not as auspicious for the rest of the family members. Please note that, under the Eight House Theory, one should try to spend more time at a good sector (in the home). There should not be much concern if one does not spent too much time at a specific sector. Consideration should be given to which rooms each family member stays in. Please see below:- This is OK especially if your husband is the breadwinner. It does not matter even if it is an auspicious sector.…

Help! I am a Weak Water , 8 , Ken my direction is NE. I live in a northeast house but my bedroom is in the disaster area, my bed is facing in the SE death direction. There is a painting of water, a river flowing towards the viewer visible from my bed. My dressing room is in the Death section and my bathroom in the irritation section. Unfortunately this cannot be changed. My front door is on the NW side facing NE and not near the death or disaster section. As I live alone there is nobody else to consider. Could you please tell me if there is a remedy for this situation and what. I realized that I always wake up with this feeling of fear and doom and wish to hide under the…

Hi Cecil Our master bedroom is on the east of our house and in 2005, the flying star #2 is in this sector. Does it help by just hanging a brass 'hu lu' at the window in this sector, or is there any other way to suppress this star? I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy and properous new year!

Dear Anon, Thank you for your sketch. Based on your sketch, it looks like your bed has been placed in a good Shapes and Form layout plan. To confirm, please refer to the attached file and the markings indicated:- Marking `A' preferably your bedroom door should be located here. Marking `C' - windows on this side Marking `D and E' - preferably, the bed should rest against a solid wall. And it is acceptable to have windows on the side of the bedroom at location marked `D' and/or `E'. Frankly, under the Eight House Theory ( East/West Group) of persons, there is not much one can do other than to move room. For those, who want to go further into more advanced Feng Shui can ex…

Hi Theresa, As long as it is not east or northwest, you should not worry too much. Plus, flying star's effect is still not as strong as the basic one. You just need to always keep a glass of water in your room. It can reduce the sharpness of the areas. Hope it helps. Siusiu http://www.siusiufengshui.com/

Dear Anon, Frankly, this category of Feng Shui is often classified under "Kindergarten Feng Shui". Where we commonly hear: North = water, South = fire etc.. Just a few years ago, I remembered, locally some practitioners were simply practising this type of Feng Shui. Many of them, I heard, have very few business - if any. With more sophisticated consumers; it would be more fruitful to learn more of both Shapes and Forms as well as Compass School Feng Shui. Under Flying Star, instead of a generalised view that north = water, one should follow where the #1 star lands on the 9 grid system. Here, #1 and a combination of it e.g. #4 often leads to prosperity etc... Truly, do mak…

So sorry, this is beyond this forum. As lots of time and effort needs to determine, plot, review If Feng Shui is to be applied correctly, one has to plot the Flying Stars and try to either disarm the bad stars or enhance the sectors. For lawsuits: if one can determine correctly the bad flying star number(s) especially: #3, one can use or place a 24 hours light at that specific sector to disarm it. Thus if there are any imbalances in your home; the Flying stars are often used. Your personal kua number: has more to do with how suitable the home; namely your best directions.

Dear Glyn, Please send my regards to Phil and all your lovely children:) Yeah, I can understand what you mean:) Nowadays, a voice amplifier or *joke* perhaps, do get yourself a CD of the sound of waves. I have seen such CDs around selling in some shops. For sure, do try out those CDs with gentle sea waves. Avoid getting those that sound like the force of a Tsusami wave... swoosh.. erh... which might literally sweep one off one's feet. Do take care! And hope you recover from your sinus! Erh..perhaps? *JOKE* When young.... when you were in your mum's womb; perhaps, your well developed ears felt comfortable, just maybe, she heard that playing sounds was good for you:) An…

Dear Margie, A rectangular bedroom is good. Please see below:- You may still have the bed face the door. But avoid the `coffin position' where one's feet directly faces the bedroom door. This is where the whole body is parallel with the wall and when one enters the bedroom door, see the entire peron's feet and body in a straight line. Otherwise, it is still acceptable for the bed to be facing the bedroom door. It should be that our head should be able to look at the bedroom door and see who is coming in. Yes, you can have the dresser with mirror placed along the side of the bed. And not let it face any part of the bed. This is considered acceptable. Warmest Regar…

Dear Glyn, 1. Frankly, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui it is not advisable to place a bed next to the window(s): 1.1 Often, the window next to where one person sleeps could be closed. Or if open, can bring `drafts' of air to those sleeping close to the window. 1.2 A better Shapes and Form arrangement is as shown under the attachment. 1.3 Here, the bed has a back support and away from the `elements' (window). Since, you had also mentioned that there is no toilet at this location. 1.4 Is the bedroom door at the middle or at the side. This is not a main issue unless one sleeps with the legs facing the bedroom door (in this situation, it is akin to bringing out the coffin…

I am a Kua 4 east person and I understand for me to have a bedroom located in the North East is a bad thing since it is my death location. I unfortunately purchased a condo (not realizing) my bedroom is or part of my bedroom is located in the North East. Help, need some much needed advise on how I can fix the problem or cure the negative energy? Or if I sleep with my head pointed in one of my good directions could that be a cure for having a bedroom in the North East? I very much appreciate any assistance from someone with some qualification on Feng Shui can give me..... Please. Thank you so much Tamara
