    1. Mathematically, there are 50 percent who are East group and 50 percent who are West group (full stop). 2. If one already had purchased or stayed in an existing house or apartment, is it possible to get the earthquake to move your home so that it aligns to your good directions? Yes/No? 3. This "obession" with whether your home is East or West is "history" if one intends to stay in that specific home. Unless, you are saying that you intend to move-out. 4. One has to be realistic. And if trying to apply Feng Shui, make sure that there are no further "loss of wealth leaks" etc.. By applying proper Feng Shui. 5. If you close your eyes, the direction facing would'nt go…

Based on Traditional Compass School of Feng Shui:- You can browse this link for the various free reports:-http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm The specific report that you should be looking at based on the compass direction is: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-sleep-position.htm 2. 1. Early, I am referring to real water. 2. Another form of "water" or some refer it as "yin" water is possible. Yin water can be considered as colours or e.g. wall paint &/or curtains &/or bed sheet. 3. Water element in terms of colours: Blue, black or grey or shades of them. It can also be wavy pattern. 4. You might want to use colours instead or "Yin water instead". But definitely not REAL water especially an aquarium in the bedroom. 5.In this modern commercial times; where everthing is "in the name of Feng Shui"; frankly, many have the idea thatsuccessfullFeng Shui isabout enhancing wealth and thinks ways and meansto try enhancing their home not knowing th…

Dear T Wong, Please see below: Imagine this: if the ceiling above you is flat, then there is no `beam'. If the ceiling above has a supporting beam to support the structure of the above unit/floor than, it is a beam. Under Feng Shui, even if there is a ceiling beam but if it is fully covered under a false ceiling, this no longer becomes a `threat.' Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Robert, In the `life' pillars we have House of Life and House of Conception. Similiarly in Yin Feng Shui there is the opposite of House of Life i.e. House of `Death' and roughly the translated term is House of Reincarnation. The House of Death does not mean when a person die. But rather in a spirtual sense of the dead such as the person's spirit or `ghost'. For the House of Reincarnation, it is the belief that when a person dies, he/she is reincarnated. By the way, these additional Pillars (1 pillar = 1 heavenly stem + 1 earthly branch) e.g. House of Life, Conception etc... these are the so called additional pillars for more advanced readings. The basic readings is…

Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, it would be better to `fix' the leak. 2. Overall, using a metal windchime or metal at sectors are relatively safe: a. In past forum messages, I mentioned that metal element is a common cure for most of the Flying Star ailments. b. Therefore, there is relatively no harm using it. The only repercussion of using a windchime wrongly is or the result is problems related to sleep. It is felt that playful imps may give us nightmare and for those who cannot sleep properly afterwards, should remove them. 3. Even if North West is considered a good sector, windchime does not automatically become a good candidate. Usually, it has to be analysed within a …

Dear Eric, South-West sector is suppose to be a location that "encourages" harmony of interpersonal relationships and if at work i.e. teamwork. I am not sure if it can improve or attract love into your life by placing something there e.g. plants (but you can try) -- "no harm". Just wondering

  15. Started by bercardor,

Dear Ber, As Joe correctly pointed out where best, try to avoid mirrors especially large ones in the house. 1. Mirrors are of the YIN element. 2. Mirrors located at a " wrong " location can bounce back twice the bad luck. 3. It is common for the Cantonese (A dialect group of the Chinese) to install a large mirror in the dinning room in the hope that it will bring them auspiciousness. But as I mentioned above, becareful where you install it. 4. It is not advisable to have a mirror in one room, `shine' towards another room as we do not know what we are bouncing unless one does a Flying Star chart to analyse further. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Cecil, this brings up something I've been thinking about for some time. I would like to buy a fake goose...made of some sort of paper, that flies in the air with the wind, while attached to a long, tall pole like a fishing pole. I could put him very close to the front of the house where the pole wouldn't cut the door, but I'm wondering if the movement of the bird in the wind would raise the chi, slow it down, or activate anything else? I want to do this to make my house easier to find for my customers. Any thoughts? 17. Dear Anon, 1. The sleeping direction or best bed-head direction should be considered "Nice-to-have" and not a must have. 2. Even if sleeping with the head facing west, I personally feel that this position is the better choice. As you had also mentioned that the other position e.g. placing a tall bookshelf and placing your bed-head towards North seems weird. 3. Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. While feeling comfortable in a bedroom surrounding is about "Man or human" luck. 4. Thus what best is to sleep in a "normal " bedroom vs a "weird" layout bedroom. If we don't feel good in a bedroom.. might as well throw out the whole concept of "theoratical" feng shui. Worst t…

Dear Koslan, Please see below:- Yes, one should apply cures for any imbalances at the specific sectors. If one is applying the Eight House Theory, then apply it towards (especially) your bedroom i.e. is the bed at an auspicious sector? Or if it is a couple, one party could use another as a shield. For example, if the husband's sector is `death' while the wife is `irritation'; it would be better for the wife to sleep closer to this intangible force and the husband further away. In order to activate the mountain stars:- 1. It must not be activated i.e. at the front door or frontage of the house. For example, if a mountain star is found at the front door, do not ac…

  24. Dear Jackie, Under traditional Feng Shui, there are a few sets of theories and this includes 9 Star Ki, an equivalent of Feng Shui numerology. Briefly, the main theories (Ranked) in importance are:- 1. Pillars of Destiny (to determine your true element) e.g. your true element and it's strength. This is ranked 1st (jointly ) with the Flying Star Theory (which looks at your house's birth chart). 2. Next, comes the Eight House theory which is used to determine the "Best house " for a person i.e. 4 good and 4 bad directions. Under the Eight House theory, you get a general reading of what is known as the Eight Associations or Eight Aspirations or Life Aspirations. Where this…

Dear Patrick, 1. Imagine luck as the reception of wealth. And one good visual example is to clasp one's two hands together. Here, if the house is on the `pan' or on the palm, this is good. 2. Thus, if one can visualise the above, a house below road level may not necessarily be bad. On the contrary, if there is excellent drainage, not too deep or angled depth, it can be a good house. 3. However, it has to depend on a case-by-case basis. But, the noticable sign is that your home is not alone in the neigbhourhood. And there are many homes within your estate. 4. If there are many of such homes within the vicinity of your house and they are in "good repair", then, it is a goo…
