Usually the advise is to open both eyes before marriage and close one eye after marriage. Erh... how about changing it to: "close both eyes after marriage... oops... #@%$^^^^&&"

  3. Thanks for giving me a better understanding of the 5-element and bazi. At first, after reading about using bazi to calulate compatibility and using 5-element concept to create balance, I thought it could also be applied to a family unit to enhance harmony, didn't quite understand. I suppose I misunderstood its application. Best regards Paul Wangchuk

Yes, generally it is not good to put fountain in bedroom.Fountain should be placed in larger open area like living room / balcony / family area etc. But as mentioned, when we talk about a fountain it is not one of those portable / desk type fountain. 1. In general, without looking further into other various concepts:- 1.1. Usually the safer kitchen colours should often be: a. The cabinets: natural wood (can range from teak, maple wood, pine wood, rose wood, darker - hard wood and other wood - wood tone colours). Generally, any range of brown colours. b. Many modern cabinets in the kitchen can also be "metallic" colour tone e.g. silver. And also white. This range of metallic colours are OK for the kitchen. 1.2. Many years back e.g. in the 1970's some homes use green laminated or greenish cabinet colours. This is also OK. 1.3 I mentioned kitchen cabinets as generally in most kitchens, these cabinets account for th…

Dear Luna, Yes, a water element in the position you had mentioned symbolically means `illicit affairs' and for a wife, it would not be advantageous to have a water position on the right side of the main entrance door. It is acceptable to have the aquarium instead at the South East corner which is the `wood element' area. In general, if you were to approach a Geomancer for such a service,TWO important variables (or fields)must be known:- 3.1 Baby's sex (male or female) 3.2Your doctor's recommended dates for the caesarian operation (Two weeks range) 4. Optional:- Parents (and or siblings) date and time of birth 5. Para 3 is very important to select a good birth date. Yes, that is considered one of the traditional 6 coins so it can be used. The use of 6 singapore coins is only possible in singapore (for those who cannot obtain the normal 6 coins). However, sometimes it is best to also make sure the colour scheme within that sector doesn't contain too much Fire (red) or Earth (Yellow). Best to keep such sectors which need metal (white) if possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert L…

So...no tree planting in the W? or don't plant a lone tree in the W? I am thinking along the lines of a plum tree or something to capture the sunshine in front of the house/to give some shade from the glare of the setting sun. Also, to raise the value of the property. Anyways, thanks for the insight and I think I'm gonna go ahead and plant it.

  17. Dear Pao Lee, Please see below:- Yes. In my opinion, it is `eternal' as long as one does not "fly" the home into a new period. Pay more attention to the main door. Where possible, the main door should NOT be moved or re-installed. Else, it will most likely mean, a failed exercise. If you can, try to get the contractor to:- 1. The living room floor tiles up to the main door, should be completed. 2. The main door, should be properly `seated' and not re-adjusted or reinstalled after lunar 2004. Frankly, it looks like an incomplete home. In my opinion, an incomplete home or one that is `not fit' to live in is considered as an uncompleted home. And may be furtile…

Like the earlier post, if you can shift the bed to avoid the corner from cutting into your bed. If not, find ways to cover the corner, maybe some curtain decoration or if you can put some decorative partition etc to block it. In addition, you should also check if your room is affected by the afternoon sun, which can often cause a room to be too hot even after the sun has set due to the heat that is trapped. These is also often a factor which can affect a person's sleep. Besides Feng …

Dear Laraine, Before we address your question, you may have to be aware that there are a few `levels' of Feng Shui analysis:- 1. Very detailed Feng Shui analysis If a person is new to Feng Shui, he or she may need to consult an experienced Feng Shui Practioner to address isues such as what you are facing. Alternatively, if you know how to use the computerised tools here, with some help, I am confident you can overcome your problems. The following are the most crucial Feng Shui Theories:- 1. Eight House Theory. I guess you must have already used this to find your most suitable locations in the house. Overall, this theory does what it is suppose to do, find out how suitabl…

Hi, Please read below:- Basically, yes I personally agree that circle is very strong shape. However, in terms of Feng Shui, if the building is circular, there is this possibility that you will have missing corners from the shapes and form school. In Feng Shui, the best shapes for houses is rectangle or square shapes, because if you look at it is easier to layout your home furniture in rectangle shape houses rather than odd shaped houses. If anyone has anymore to add, feel free to add to this topic. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  23. Dear Regina, With the star numbers mentioned, it is OK to place a plant to mask the poison arrow. Honestly, from your picture, and given that your sofa is a distance away, I personally think that there is no threat from the fire-place. It is not like one is sitting next to it. From the picture, the distance is somewhat like 1 metre away (the sofa). Warmest Regards, Cecil
