Thanks for giving me a better understanding of the 5-element and bazi. At first, after reading about using bazi to calulate compatibility and using 5-element concept to create balance, I thought it could also be applied to a family unit to enhance harmony, didn't quite understand. However, in terms of Feng Shui, if the building is circular, there is this possibility that you will have missing corners from the shapes and form school. In Feng Shui, the best shapes for houses is rectangle or square shapes, because if you look at it is easier to layout your home furniture in rectangle shape houses rather than odd shaped houses. Dear Regina, With the star numbers mentioned, it is OK to place a plant to mask the poison arrow. Honestly, from your picture, and given that your sofa is a distance away, I personally think that there is no threat from the fire-place. It is not like one is sitting next to it.
