thank youvery much for your reply. As to your question why i opt for turtle instead of fish, well, actually, previously i put gold fishes in it, more than 15. cats from our neighbors always come to our place. they can enter anytime since the front fence is an open steel fence. whithout us knowing it sometimes its been eaten. One time, we saw a bull frog. so the ending, all the fishes were gone. Also, water here in our place has a lot of chlorine. iguess its about time i buy a book on how to take care of fishes in the pond. Sad to say, i am a beginner on this. Anyway, speaking of fish,in case i put back fish on my pond, how many fish do i have to put and what kind of …

These are some of the considerations:- 1. If the breadwinner and spouse had already slept in the new or resale home especially : 1.1. Used the built in stove to cook a meal: 1.2. Bathed in the home 1.3. Slept in the new or resale home 2. Especially if all these three ACTIVITIES were done say in the same day; then no need to talk: this is already considered as "moved-in". 3. If one brings in a used washing machine; but did not use it; this is in the loose sense - for practical reasons; fine or OK. 4. It is the same thing as an "old" or "existing" dining table brought into the new home. So long as one does not use it for proper dining; then it is technically fine…

These are some of the considerations: 1. Under symbolism in traditional belief; move-in technically is the day one sleeps over-night in that home or apartment. 2. Again under symbolism; placing a set of one's night clothing e.g. husband and wife senario; a set of night clothes each are placed on the bed (over-night). This symbolises a "move-in". 3. Please note that auspicious dates are considered NICE-to and not a MUST-have. 4. So long as the day is not very inauspicious or inauspicious; any other significance e.g. average day or mixed-blessings may be acceptable. 5. Bringing in items or things into a home often does not constitute a move-in. For example, it is very commo…

Dear Paixao, Usually, this is what many Chinese do when they move into a new home:- 1. Select an auspicious date. If one is not sure of a date, the two dates that are considered always auspicious are the 1st Day of the Lunar Month and the 15th Day of the Lunar Month. This is where both dates are on a full moon. The most recent Vesak Day holiday or (Buddha's Birthday fall on the 15th day of Lunar Month). 2. Does one have an altar or worship any deity. If yes, bring the `deity' on the same day as the day, one is moving into the house. 3. On the day of move: 3.1. First bring in the charcoal stove (usually the stove is made of clay and either in red or wrapped in red.) Red…

Dear Cecil, Note appended by Cecil: I have deleted the file: STREET MAP BEDOK RESERVOIR(1).GIF as it is captured from http://www.streetdirectory.com without Source & Credit to them (standard clause for educational purposes). I believe this site is quite "sticky" with their copyright maps. It is best to cut-paste the link to their website instead of saving their maps. We do not want to infringe on their copyright. My husband and I are interested in blk 10 of the project. There's a canal btw the unit and Bedok town park (pls see attached map). We can't tell what the facing is like due to the weird angle. Our 8 house report says that we should hv the front door facing we…

These are some considerations: 1. Several factors should be considered regarding home design and plumbing. Primarily, it relates to common sense, which Feng Shui principles often reflect. 2. It is not uncommon for homes to have a toilet situated directly above a kitchen. 3. However, a significant concern arises when sewerage pipes are positioned directly above cooking areas or places where food and drinking water are prepared or stored. 4. The rationale is clear: if a sewerage pipe were to leak, gravity would facilitate the flow of contaminants. 5. In some cases, homeowners have no alternative but to have sewerage pipes located above their sto…

Since you mentioned that it occurs when the year, month and base are equal to #6 x 3; in my opinion, I take it that it does not appear all the time. As due to time dimensions, especially the month can change and for the year, a year passes so fast. Thus time dimensions need to be taken into consideration, here. Another view point is that in other sectors; without the #5, but if there was the #9 e.g. As the water or mountain star, such combinations of #6 will instead kill or neutralize a good star number.

Dear Kathelyne Feng Shui has many distinctive flavours: 1. Poison arrows 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui 1. Poison arrows These are issues that cause issues such as sharp corners etc... 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui What you had mentioned i.e. a bedroom above a kitchen has more to do with "commonsense". This is because,(usually) thereseems to be a higher probability of a fire starting in a kitchen then anywhere else. And because of this, some would thus feel that having abedroom above the kitchen not a good idea! However, frankly a fire can be started anywhere else in a home such as carelessly leaving behind a lighted cigarette butt or ash etc... 3. …

Dear David, Yesterday, I posted a reply to a question on house hunting i.e. a user is interested in a second floor or storey unit. From a Feng Shui point of view, one should consider if there are any "threats" if any to the unit. The threats could be simple things like a landscaped garden tall thin trees like palm tree(s),or a garden lamp post slicing into any of thebalcony, bedroom windows, bedroom balcony sliding windows. Therefore, the greatest threat would come from these and sometimes even walk-ways that has a shelter. Especially if the roofof the shelteror even a club-house roof - could sometimes slice lower floors. Therefore, the major threatscomesgenerally, fr…

Dear Anon, Currently, the best units atGardens are those facing the main gate (pool) such as Blocks 3 or 7. These blocks are not affected by the temple. For example, the units under these blocks (facing Sin Ming Walk) are NE facing and very auspicious under current Flying star. If possible, avoid Block 1. And Block 9 (Winter) because of the afternoon sun. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Usually, for such instances, it is best to get professional help especially if you are uncertain whether it is True or not. 2. Sometimes, your measurement(s) are not accurate - i.e. false alarm. 3. If it is true that your home falls on the void line, then it is best to get professional help to assess the situation and provide further advise. 4. If you want to DIY, then one of the most common methods is to purchase a "copper" ruler; re-do the front door floor tiles and embed the ruler strategically at an angle from the void line. This is one of the most common methods.

Good day Master Lee, I would appreciate greatly if you can advice if this property is inauspicious. My first impression of this property is that it is on a corner + at the entrance of the cul de sac, and the land has a trapezium shape, which maybe unfavorable in terms of fengshui. Thank you.

Dear Carina, Please see below:- 1. Ideally, please check that it should not be in the North sector of the home. 2. Where possible the stove should face inwards i.e. face inwards of the main door. If the above are met, it is still considered acceptable. Usually, a small table, be it hexagon, square etc.. (coffee table) will not make an impact on the house. Usually, the table should not have a poison arrow aimed at e.g. the sofa. As for the Ba Gua table, its angle or 8 corners should not pose a problem as it is not like the corners of a rectangle or square table at 90 degrees angle. I assume that the beam must be a concrete beam. If you are staying in Singapor…

Hi Sifu, I have been told by one of my wife's family member to do these for my moving-in ritual. Is this neccessary? Based on my wife and my birthdate, 22nd December this year is consider an auspicious date for us to move-in I should move my furniture i.e. existing bed, wardrobe before my official move-in date, which is anytime before 22nd December So my question is, is it really important to move my existing bed and furniture a day before and not the exact move-in date? Because this require us to book for a hotel room for my family and my parents I was told pineapple rolling is not mandatory, just hug rice and my wife to hug pillow to move …

Hi Master, I have 1 ancestor tablet in my current house and I'm moving house soon, as the new house is not ready yet, thus need to temporary put in my dad's place. The problem is my dad's house also has 1 ancestor tablet and there isn't much space left on the altar table. Question: - Is it possible to put my house's ancestor tablet in front of my dad's house original ancestor tablet? - My house ancestor tablet is slightly bigger, it will block my dad's house original ancestor table, is it ok? Appreciate your help to assist in this. Thanks.

General observations:- 1. Rough estimate is that most of the units are of Flying Star: Period 8, NE 1 or SW1. 2. Just be careful of sharp edges from another unit (stack). For example, stack 20; may have an edge or corner that is aimed towards stack 14 (perhaps a bedroom window) or vice versa. Stack 24 with 18. 3. As usual, best not to have afternoon sun soaking into master bedroom walls or thru windows of living, bedroom(s). 4. Again, club house roof fans out creating a sha qi particularly of concern is for stack 29 (less of a concern for stack 28). Thus depending on how high the roof is, avoid having it slice towards the window level of lower floor - stack 29. …

Dear Max, 1. Typically, the design of a commercial building is influenced by the kind of tenants or tenant mix it attracts, along with other elements such as the nature of the business. 2. When it comes to purely office spaces, I think this isn't a concern. However, for retail establishments, their success hinges on various business factors, such as foot traffic, among others. 3. As long as the office is not in a remote or hard-to-reach area, and if numerous tenants occupy the office space, I believe there shouldn't be any problems. 4. For residential properties, many people would logically prefer to be situated further away from noise, as well as from…

Dear Hoa Luong, 1. According to Feng Shui principles, it is advisable to avoid placing a mirror behind a cashier's counter, as well as on either side of it, particularly in finance or accounting settings. 2. Cats, like all living beings, possess emotions and the capacity to feel pain. It is worth considering the perspective of being born as one of these animals. 3. The primary concern with keeping cats as pets is the potential for allergies in some individuals, including children. Generally, pet owners tend to maintain hygiene through regular bathing. 4. While stray cats often groom themselves, feeding them may not be advisable. Similar to guidelines i…
