Dear Anon, For this year, if possible (not just the 7th month) avoid painting at North-West sector or the Gand Duke of Jupiter's location. For example, he does not like people to touch (e.g. avoid painting) or disturb him (e.g. avoid drilling or renovations) at this sector. If possible, also avoid painting at West or the yearly #5 sector for this year. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am thinking of re-painting the whole house. Is there any constraints like 7th month cannot do painting? Can we paint the ceiling for the tasui room for this year? Will re-painting our house give us luck? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Dear Master Cecil Lee, Your reply had been really exciting. On this similar subject, i would like also to touch the subject on palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading. All these are related to one person life destiny.Sometime, when we look for a fortune teller in which they look into the palm reading and analyse the person face and gave quite amazing reply. And also,we do hear people say about life is fated. So,can FS change one person fate? Plus, when we apply FS to improve our life with the changes occur ...what would be the relation effect with palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading.Thank you for sharing your thought on this subject. Dear Anon, To understand better, #2 is Strong Earth and #5 is Strong Earth. 2 is sickness and 5 is misfortune. Both combined is very inauspicious. In order to destroy this strong metal combination, ideally one should use Six coins as coins represent metal element and Six represents `Big metal'. A Feng Shui ruler made of copper can help but is considered less effective than six ancient coins particularly those with square holes. Which is a traditional Chinese coin. Ideally, one should use the traditional Chinese copper coin with a square hole at the centre is to ensure that the square gives strength from within to the Chinese `ancient' coins. For the copper ruler, it also…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I have a house that i want to cell, but during 6 months we did not receive any offers. What should I do to cell it? My house that I want to cell is empty now, and we live in another city. Sorry, but Feng Shui is not a miracle cure for all problems. There is nothing you can do to just make your house sell faster. If your house has good feng shui, you maybe can make use of that point to help promote your house as good house to get the interest of buyer. But other than that, there is nothing much feng shui can do to help you. You would be better off relying on the following:- 1) Get a very competent real estate agent with good networking to pr…

Traditionally, many Chinese would visit the temple to get their figurine(s) blessed. Many of these figurines are famous deities like: goddess of mercy or guan gong etc... However, I believe many products purchased via commercial means are considered merely decorative items. Selling products in the name of Feng Shui is very lucrative! As such they should be treated as decorations. When dirty, no issue in washing them. For such products` often, people buy them, gets dirty and many times the are removed from display or forgotten! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yumeko, Assuming that one is weak water and weak earth. You can use the Compatibility report at www.geomancy-online.com to look at the binding element for a weak water and weak earth person. For these two persons - the proposed binding element would be two elements. In locations in the house in particular: your bedroom and living room area; you can enhance the bedroom with the binding elements. For example: since a weak water and weak earth person would need two binding elements then: a combination of enhancement can be:- - paint the walls in one of the binding element colour. And e.g. for the wardrope use the second binding element. Or instead, use the appropriate …

Dear Tim, In my opinion, Shapes and Form as mentioned by you below cannot cure "unwanted" stars. Since this concept is static and does not take into account time dimensions as the Flying Star Feng Shui. The only correlation is that often, under some Flying star models, it is preferred that the layout or rooms are squarish in shape. Here, it is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Golf sized crystal balls are not ideal to be used to activate the Mountain Star. Firstly, the Mountain Star should be non-moveable and I am not sure if the golf sized crystal balls have a `solid base'? The base should not move and by stringing the golf sized crystal balls, they are thus moveable. For the slanted roofs, you have to confirm:- 1. What materials are they made off? If they are wooden supports, then you have two choices:- Use Big metal as proposed by Robert to neutralise or `destroy' the Wood element. Ideally, use the ancient Chinese coins with the square holes in the middle. Here you can use red string to tie them up and stick them on the beam. (To prevent…

Dear Debbie, In general or wider sense, there is little on the topic of how we can make use of Feng Shui to sell a house. However, under the Feng Shui/Chinese Astrology, a Geomancer can find a `good' date for a person to `sell' the house. Let me elaborate:- This is through the use of the 5 elements concept under the Pillars of Destiny. For example, if you are a person whose main element is " Weak Water ". Each particular day and even time, is governed by an element. Not to complicate matters, its assume that today is governed by the ` Water element ". Since today's element is Water, Water will improve your Weak Water and this is considered your favourable day. More compli…

These are some of the considerations:- GENERAL INFORMATION 1. In a micro-level; according to our Chinese customs; the most important consideration is that the common bed that you are currently sleeping on should never be moved even one month after giving birth. 2. Thus in some circumstances where one really has to say move house then, the pregnant wife should literally disappear and not involved in or look at the process of the shift. In many instances, a new bed should be purchased at the new home. Anyway, this para does not apply to your case. But do take note the same. INVOLVING A GEOMANCER 3. Usually, if geomancy (Feng Shui considerations) is involved and if you …

Dear Master Lee My living room has stars M3, W2, B8, Yr 6. I have a fish tank put at the corner of this sector. Please advise if this is appropriate. Although there is no W8, can I enhance B8, Yr6 in the presence of M3 and W2? Next year when Yr 6 no longer there, must I remove the tank? Thank You Very Much for your kind assistance. Paris Yahoo! Dear Karen, Question: have a set of antique furniture which was given by my mum. I measured the furniture and it fits the good measures of the Feng Shui Ruler. Is this good? Yes most Chinese antique furnitures do have a set of measurements that follows the Feng Shui ruler. In the past, there are highly skilled Feng Shui `practioners' who specialise in carpentry work. As the furniture was given by your mum (to confirm: from her home?) if so, it is OK. For other antique furniture that you want to purchase, where possible check it's origin. This is because it is said that furnitures do absorb the ch'i from its surroundings and for example when we purchase a home, a FS Ma…

Dear Gwen, Thank you for your encouraging words. Your words will certainly motivate us to make the site better and better. Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, April 05, 1999 9:40 AM Subject: bedroom The characteristics of having two doors facing each other is that there will be a tendency for the two parties living in room 1 and say the master bedroom to have `frequent' disagreements or quarrels. As you have mentioned that both rooms have double doors, this can easily be solved (provided you are able to open only one side of the door and each is opposite / diagonal) t…

Dear Thanh, Please see below:- Step 1: Look through your 20 Year Flying Star Chart. Here pay attention to areas that need to be neutralised. Place all the relevant cures in the house. The Eight House theory although is a valid theory, is less important since it is only the `irritation' sector of your main entrance. More importantly, if you are using the Eight House, check the intangible force in areas that you spent most time i.e. this includes the bedroom location. Here, even if your master bedroom is at your disaster sector, you should give priority to proper placement of the bed under the Shapes and Form Feng Shui. Where the bed is located in a suitable sector…

Thank you, we will continue to improve and develop new tools for easy access to FS. What you can do is perform a Eight House Calculation of yourself and check if you are sleeping and staying in the rooms which happens to be any of 4 bad directions. Then you might like to check the FS of your house, are there any bad stars such as the Misfortune Stars or Sickness stars in the rooms which you are staying in. As well as the main door…

Your question is similar to another question. And here goes:- Based on the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 1. Heaven (Born with) 2. Earth (Feng Shui) 3. Man or Human Luck (feel good) So long as it makes you feel good or comfortable with it, why not? Since feeling good contributes to "improving one's luck". Particularly = Man or Human Luck factor.

Dear Jez, Thanks for your reply. I like to share with you what is the rationale for not having a fish tank in the bedrooms. The main reason is that a bedroom is suppose to be a YIN location (or for `peaceful' rest). A fish tank is considered to produce `yang' energy e.g. the fishes swimming in the tank and the air bubbles etc... Similiarly, many Feng Shui Masters also say that plants should not be placed in a bedroom as plants grow and thus produce `yang' energy. For children's room however, it should instead be more `yang' but also should not have fish tank or plants but rather, bright coloured walls, musical instruments, hi-fi etc... You asked the question whether is it…

Dear Bless, In general, plants can be divided into two categories:- 1. Plants that are considered `yang' e.g. the characteristic is that their leaves are `pointed' shape or have thorns eg. cactus and chrysanthenum. 2. Plants that are `yin' eg. leaves that are rounded. In a recent US NASA study on the effects of plants (natural plants) on the environment, it was found that plants (infact most plants but they ranked the plants) are found to be good to be placed indoors and good on the internal environment. It is also considered particularly good if the pot is made of clay. The caution under feng shui is to avoid having too many plants concentrated particularly at the West s…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am keen to buy a 10 year old condo unit and would like to redo the entire kitchen and bathrooms. By doing this, I understand that the apartment will fly from period 7 to 8. The problem is, the unit number is good for period 7 but bad for period 8. Period 7 : Prosperity, good wealth. Period 8 : Vomiting. Is it possible to prevent from flying to period 8? Please advise. Thanks. Regards. Usually, once you have any major renovation, it will usually automatically fly over to the new luck period. So, in your case, it may be difficult to retain the existing period. In fact, in such cases where you plan to have major renovations, you should be lo…

In my opinion, this is very minor or non-issue. Perhaps, some people may have the following "concerns":- 1. Symbolism Kitchen is where there are knifes, sharp objects and fire element. And maybe your friend feels uncomfortable with placing the family photos, because of these reasons. 2. Perhaps some feel that say using a magnet is not "permanent" and thus may affect "permanent" relationships. 3. Otherwise, if you check out this forum, this question has never surfaced in the last more than 10 or more years of this forum! 4. It is akin to some ridiculous people who say that one should not place shoes or shoe cabinet outside the main entrance area! In my country, rich …
