  2. Dear Sophia, 1. Frankly, this really depends on how you define the Qi flow and what is it used under. 2. In houses, we are often talking about Qi flowing into the house. ie. your living room frontage faces East. 3. Qi or air will flow in from the West into the East? So don't you want Good Qi from East to flow into house as opposed to Bad Qi flowing in from West into your home? 4. That is why for our website, when we define facing direction we want good Qi to flow into the house and not bad Qi. 5. The other concept is useful for usually the Yin Feng Shui where you want to have lots of good Qi behind you so as to ward of the bad Qi. Thus, under Yin …

  3. 1. Feng Shui and HDB Keat Hong Mirage and Flying Stars of 5 bedroom type:- 2. N1 facing stacks = 59, 61, 71, 73, 89, 91, 105, 10, 121, 123, 138 & 140 with S1 facing stacks = 55, 57 134, 136. N1 has the auspicious double 8s at it's frontage. Good if the frontage has a water position. 2.1 Good if the master bedroom is located at NE sector. As it has good auspicious star combinations of MS#6 + WS#1. 2.2 If a bedroom is located at East is good for a bedroom cum study. 2.3 The rest of other sectors has inauspicious stars. And may need to be disarmed. 2.4 S1 The combined auspicious wealth stars MS#8 + WS#8 are at the "rear" of the unit. Such …

Further to what I had mentioned, below, please click on the attachment to thismessage (only available via website login to the forum account). Example 1 (file name: water-entry-exitpoint-A.gif) This file illustraion will show:- 1. House is facing SOUTH 2. Water enters this SOUTH facing housedirectly from SOUTH. 3. Water must not exit out of this house from NW (The idea here is tomake sure that under the First Heaven Sequence Trigram, the waterentering a specific trigram must be noted. For example the trigram stands for "HEAVEN". Under the 2nd Heaven Sequenc Trigram, check where the "HEAVEN" trigram lands. It lands on NW. Thus water should notEXIT NW) Example 2:…

  5. Dear Alex, 1. In fact, if one does a research or a key SEARCH in this forum (even as far back as 1999), there are lots of resources on the topic of fish tank or keeping fishes. 2. Please click this link to have a better understanding of fish tank & keeping fishes from a Feng Shui perspective:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/arowanafish.htm 3. It is good to review Q2 in the above hyperlink to understand the real relationship between the Five Elements Concept to a water position i.e. be it a fish tank or a water feature. 4. Key extracts from the above article are as follows:- " ...We can introduce the following elements:" …

    1. Please see this illustration. 2. This partition is long and covers the entire main entrance door. 3. In addition, it is full height up to the entire ceiling of the house. 3.1. As mentioned in some of the earlier threads; full height and especially now that it is "air-tight" means that light from the living room cannot filter to the main door. Thus generally, making the foyer area dim. 3.2. Another thing I would like to highlight with this "air-tight" partition is that often for safety reasons; those sitting at the sofa area will not see who is coming in or if a family member is at the main door talking to a person or stranger. 3.3. Personally, I would still prefe…

  7. Dear Anon, More importantly, the consideration should be, for instance, either standing inside the home, such as at the main entrance or sliding doors, while looking out of the home. If one stands inside, for example, at the main entrance looking out and can see a lamp post or a tree, then this is regarded as sha qi, as it can penetrate into the home. However, if there is a solid wall (within the house) where the lamp post is located, then this is generally not considered sha qi. Planting plants that have a relatively dense cluster of foliage would be beneficial if the lamp post is directly visible when standing at the main door or sliding doors, etc. …

  8. Dear Veronica, 1. Regardless of the situation, it is essential for an air conditioner to have the most direct path to two key areas: 1.1. the outdoor compressor unit or the balcony where the compressor is located 1.2. a way to channel condensed water to the nearest bathroom for drainage. 2. Opting for the shortest route is advisable because, over time (typically 2 years or more, depending on usage and environment), the drainage pipes of the air conditioner can become blocked by dust, similar to how arteries can become clogged. 3. A shorter route means less piping required for both the refrigerant gas and drainage. 4. In terms of Feng Shui, it is recommended to…

Dear Anon, 1. Often, when coins are used, it is based on the number of coins. 2. I am not sure if there is any `commercial' agenda; but majority of the coins that we buy are often imitation coins or newly minted coins that seem to look like `antique' coins. (Don't be fooled by the greenish colour on these copper coins as it is very easy to `age' the coins) 3. The usual number for a big metal cure are a set of 6 emperor coins each. 3.1. Previously before the internet age, many shops were selling 5 coins. Perhaps their knowledge was essentially that of the popular Five Elements concept of Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire. 3.2. But today, …

Dear Tammy, 1. For the benefit of other forum members, I have attached the illustration of two trapezoids. This file name is: trapeziod-goodbad.gif 2. One trapeziod is acceptable while the other is inauspicious. 3. This is based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 4. More importantly, if one looks carefully at the first trapezoid with blue wordings, or the acceptable shape; One will find that the based is broader than the frontage. This is symbolic of a mountain effect. Even if a trapezoid shape is not the best configuration. 5. For the second trapezoid, the is the mirror image of the first. And it is considered inauspicious if the front is broad base while the back (mountain)…

  13. Previously I took some time to compile a list of calendar events of Chinese festivals: http://www.geomancy.net/calendar/ And list of Major and Minor Chinese Festivals. Some of us, use this information to choose `auspicious' dates. For example, on 16 October 2000, it is the Celebration of " Chinese Goddess of Mercy becoming a Bodhisttva ". This is another method of finding a good date. In addition, I made the effort to compile the extensive list of calendar of events is to share with fellow overseas Chinese, the significance of certain dates and providing a brief description of the event. This is a way of looking at our `roots'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Do check the report closely, for such things as Eight-One Combination Explanation [9] & [3] - Lawsuits, gossips, disputes struggle. 4. As we are currently helping a few users who also face problems, do, try to read up the suggestions provided in our report. 5. And if you need clarifications, please let us know. 6. Dear Anon, There are two `issues' brought up considering this. Most of the time, one should not be too unduly worried about it. The two `issues' are: 1. Some FS practitioners consider it `inauspicious' because, in the event, that a car catches fire, the bedroom is directly above it. But based on reasoning, this `risk' is neglible for most of us as a car catching fire, is rare unless it is thru mischief or other causes. 2. Some FS practitioners believe that a car, is = metal, and thus, there may be too much metal at that sector especially if there is an imbalance at that sector where either metal aids the bad #star or enhances it. A Flying Star analysis would be able to c…

Hi, There are a few `variables' with regards to the placement of the `White Tiger picture". 1. Some Feng Shui practioners say that it is generally auspicious to place a White Tiger picture at the West Wall if this is your inauspicious location e.g. under the Eight House. 2. In most books, the Chinese are " afraid " or scared to see a real White Tiger is they believe that it will bring them bad luck. This has correlation to their understanding that it is very unlucky to give birth to a child especially a girl born in the " Tiger " year. For example, under this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/love/amenu1.htm I have this short write up of " The Gate of Hope, Singapore " (Former…

  20. I am looking to buy this house, the main door faces away from the road, but when I go to the kitchen, there is a carpark behind which seems to come directly at the house. I have attached a photo of what looks like from the kitchen. Is there any issue from the google maps that you see? Also this unit is on the second floor. Really need your help in this. Thank you for your help!! Added by Cecil Lee: I have deleted the two streetmap attachments to ensure privacy.

  21. Hi Master Cecil, I am looking for a used car. Supposedly black would be my preference but it has been sold out and I am left with one in red colour which fits my bill. But based on my ba zi report, red is my unfavourable wealth element. Should I not proceed with the purchase? I attach herewith some snippets of my bazi report. Your advice and help would be very much appreciated Thanks.

  23. I am currently in my first trimester, but in the midst of planning to do an extension to the back portion of my house. This is needed as soon as possible to make space for my confinement and space for my second baby. How do I navigate around this to ensure my pregnancy and birth goes smoothly while going ahead with this extension?

  24. A lot of things has happened this two months which first started with the dog becoming sick (and is still sick) when he was previously healthy, then I became very ill from Shingles. Then our TV is not working suddenly and today, my husband and daughter fell quite badly during their usually cycling. Is this bad feng shui or pure coincidence? How can I identify which area went wrong.
