Dear All, 1. Please note that this is not Feng Shui. 2. However, this is one of favourite movies that has a good story, casts and significance/meaning to life. An inspirational show that includes Steven Segal (but briefly) 3. I searched yahoo.com and came up with a site that has a review of the show "Executive decision " by Warner Bros. There is a review at this site of this movie (DVD version):- http://www.all-reviews.com/videos-2/executive-decision.htm Warmest Regards, Cecil

Yes, the bedroom is a Yin location (especially for adults). In Feng Shui the reason why many FS Masters suggest not to have plants is because plants are GROWING and do create some form of Yang `activity'. I guess a small plant is acceptable. What usually is no good are larger potted plants with large leafs. As for fresh "cut-flowers', there is no problem in placing them in a bedroom.. Most flowers do smell nice:) Water in the form of an aquarium or a fish tank is not good to be placed in a bedroom. This is because fishes swimming in the fish tank do generate yang ch'i and again as the bedroom is a place of rest (yin) it is not ideal to have a fish tank in the room. Even s…

Dear Anon, Frankly, I believe that this is a relatively `difficult' question to answer: 1. There are relatively few experts (if any) on this subject. Many of the work are in books or literature. 2. Basically, the face can be classified under the Five elements. For example, a sharp face e.g sharp chin, the person can be considered having a `fire' face. A more squarish face represents e.g. the earth element etc... 3. Nowadays plastic surgery can alter the profile or shape of the face. One's face can change from a `fire' element to a more rounded or `metal' element face. 4. This area of `study' is less popular than Feng Shui and like palmistry, is not as popular as Feng Shui…

Please refer to my most recent reply to your last message. In modern times, with our knowlege of what positive and negative ions can and cannot do. And with the common use of silver nano technology - found in some high end washing machines and even can be found embedded into plastic containers... ain't these a better bet than relying on "older" Feng Shui cures? Dear Master, according to the Eight House Chart, my best direction is North. If I like a house with the frontage facing NW (Irritation), front door facing SW(Death) opening to a wall, can I still consider to buy as it fits my budget? Or do you think it is more advisable to buy a house frontage with direction favourable to me? Thanks!

Facing the balcony from the main door, should I place it on the right or the left side ? How many stalks should I put ? Thus, I believe what your friend wanted you to do was to "block" this leak or direct sha qi. If not, it is said that it is difficult to keep money as "money comes and goes out of the home very quickly!". Therefore, the aim is notso much of how m…

Dear Glyn, Frankly, this depends on the type of stuffed toys. If it is `cute' (don't blame me but the dictionary says cute means adorable but ugly) or any soft toys, this is acceptable. I have seen many homes even in Singapore, where the child (especially girls) display a wide range of their toys e.g. barbie dolls etc... The only thing is not to display stuffed animals e.g. tigers, leopards etc... Other objects to avoid include war toys, guns or swords etc... I am not sure how this would affect the alter ego of boys thou (if they know how to read this) and start to throw rotten eggs at me:) Likewise, swords should not be displayed facing the main entrance door and paintin…

4. Is thereany concernif a bedroom door face a storage door? The stuff inside the storage are used/unused toys, linens, pots, dinnerware, and the like. Please see sketch 2. ANS: The concept of symbolism in Feng Shui. Under symbolism; best not to see things like "toy knifes / guns". And any other sharp objects facing the bedroom. 5. How about a master's bedroom door facing the door to the open deck? Is this an issue? Please see sketch 2. ANS: The concept of "coffin position" i.e. avoid legs facing bedroom door or an opening such an opening say towards an open deck. Or for some homes that have external wall that is made of glass; avoid legs facing towards "such an opening".…

Dear Daniel, I strongly encourage everyone to first grasp the fundamental principles of Feng Shui. When discussing two main doors, we are focusing solely on the 'end result' rather than the underlying causes of the situation. It is essential to comprehend the root of the matter; initially, the number of main doors—whether two or three—is not the primary concern. In 'proper' Feng Shui, if a house has two doors, it is advisable to conduct a Feng Shui audit to explore the scenarios associated with using Door A versus Door B. If one door is found to be more auspicious than the other, it is preferable to utilize that door more frequently for our own purposes. Our con…

Dear Jenney, 1. You mentioned that you stopped using the toilet in the bedroom. Perhaps u can elaborate further the rationale for doing so. This is because it is quite common for the toilet to be in the masterbedroom. It is good that u do not use the toilet but I like to find out more how are u applying the principles. It is because the toilet bowl is directly along the auspicious line/location. 2. For the fire place in the centre of the house. Can u elaborate if it is being used. From what I can understand from your message, looks like your family is not using it. It is best not to use it unless you have a real need for it. If it is not used, leave it as it is and do not…

These are some considerations: 1. No issue with a water position be it a water feature or aquarium. Even in some landed properties; an urn with lily plants and some small fishes (fishes to prevent mosquitoe breeding is ok). 2. Nowadays; the more affluent even have large sea water tanks that have slightly thicker walls. 3. Traditionally, in the past a fish tank is often used to neutralize a lamp post etc... 4. For a hobbyist, any size of fish tank is fine or ok. 5. But if for the purpose of Feng Shui; often seek advice from the Geomancer. As often if the Geomancer used proper tools such as the Flying Stars; areas that may need a water feature to neutralize it may not…

Regarding this you can use another theory called zi wei dou shu (Star Chart), some kind of Chinese Astrology. You will be able to generate a zi wei dou shu which you can use to predict luck (for gambling or whatsoever.) Yes, you can read up from books, but just remember that as far as possible look for those written by personal who had say training in Hong Kong and Taiwan. These book written by them will contain more accurate theories with regards to Feng Shui. Western books so far most of them, except those converted from these Hong Kong or Taiwan masters, have only general information. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, Please read below:- This means that if you are water and fire is your wealth, if you are a strong water and constantly with an environment or job which represents fire, you are likely to be successful and wealthy! But only if you are strong enough to take advantage of it! Deity is like a god which for the Pillars presents some helping stars. It is represented by the 5 elements of which there is a direct, and indirect version of each element. For example, direct wealth and indirect wealth. This means that direct wealth is wealth you obtain from your hard work. As for indirect wealth are wealth such as inheritance or winning lottery etc. Bone is a term use by t…

Hi, Not to be confused, usually gardens should have a balance between Yin and Yang. The easiest answer is:- 1. Rocks, stones and anything `hard' is considered Yang. 2. Trees, plants, water point are considered Yin. It is best to have a mix of both and you usually find a good garden have both features. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sagarika, As mentioned, previously, Feng Shui is not a `cure all'. Your situation has very much to do with "Human / Man luck" situation - than Earth Luck (Feng Shui). It is good to hear that both of you are in love:) Frankly, it would be a waste of money and time to go and buy a pair of mandarin ducks. What is more important is that your love endures! And often, this superseeds any other hurdles. And, in such a situation, often, many parents - will one day yield to your answers! Both of you continue to build on your relationship - and most of all be patient with your parents! Warmest Regards, Cecil Can Feng Shui help me in Waiting for your

Hi, You can still use your backdoor. However, in Feng Shui, the frontage is equally important in the assessment of the house. The frontage is where this is generally the front of the house. The main door may not be at the front of the house. It can be at the side. The analysis here is to go into the home to see the natural lighting conditions. It would be ideal if natural light filters into the house. The house should thus not be totally dark all the time. (What I mean is that during day light hours, it should have some light going into the house. Many people in Singapore who live in " Government Housing Board Flats " would realise this: Light filters in most of the time…

Dear SY, Thank you for your layout plan. Yes, the layout is pretty `unique' and sometimes it may not be feasible to simply divide it into shapes such as eg. Two `L' shapes as they may not be such. In your case, the preferred option is to make a photocopy of the layout plan or print it. Paste/glue the photocopy on a cardboard. Next `cut-out' the outline of the layout plan. You use a nail to balance the layout. When you are able to balance the entire `cut-out' layout, i.e. centre of gravity then use this point as the centre-point of the home. You can then from here determine the direction to the main entrance. Warmest Regards, Cecil
