Dear Jeffery, Yes, since there is no possibility of changing to different directions, you have no choice anymore in using this theory. Feng Shui is about improving luck. You should instead try to improve luck in your home. As home has a higher influence over you. Try to apply or look at any `leaks' in your home and fix them. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Sir, I could't contact you immdly as I was on tour.I have been asked by one our forum member regarding the square table formula and as of my knowledge same is given to your kind persusal and would like to know your comments and advices if any. Normaly if any of the corner is missing the opposite corner is to be noticed.e.g. If north east corner is missing,we may have to check the south west corner also.If that is also missed, then there is no need to worry about that,as such missing corners structuraly balaced and this is applicable to all sort of missing corners. If the missing corner is only at the particular orientation of the site.as the case refered for NORTH EAST,…

These are some of the considerations: 1. Are you able to like... forget ever seeing all the resources on your career choice? 2. And since you are a recent graduate; most important follow your passion? 3. Do take note that in the past a butcher is a butcher; a merchant is a merchant. 4. Today, jobs can be classified into multi-levels:- 4.1. For example: one level is the industry one is in. 4.2. The next level is one's main job function. 5. Thus, an example is although teaching belongs to the wood element; perhaps; one could be teaching one of the disciplines relating to say earth and/or marketing. 6. If your specialization is non-of-the above under Para 5; then my suggesti…

  7. 1. In the past; "posting" a career into one of five elements seems pretty straightforward. 2. Today, the closest concepts are based on Management principles and techniques to analyse careers. 3. Thus, the most logical way to dissect or analyse careers is based on a subject or elective known as "Strategic Planning". 4. Under, Management and sub-subject: Strategic Planning; all jobs can be broken down into:- 4.1. The Industry 4.2. Your core job function 5. Even trying to analyse which industry a specific field is in; is also to see what is it's core objective. 5.1. I may be wrong, but in my opinion, biomedical sciences should be considered as trying to find innovative meth…

Hello Sir, i want to boost my career. I have home office and my Kua# is 9-EAST group person. The way I have set up my office is that L-shaped desk is on towards North wall (between windows) facing little bit on to WEST when I work on the computer. I also have a desk with open shelves onto my left side (not exactly to my back but little to the left). Based on the EAST group my power position is EAST and other best positions are: S, SE, N. And I should be facing EAST to boost my career. But he way my desk is positioned is not right. I should not be facing WEST (not good direction for me) and My door office opens from WEST side and have tow doors (half and half makes a big…

Hi Cecil, I am very grateful for your reply. It is difficult to find such great person to offer thisto stranger these days. I have checked and indeed I belong to weak yang wood. Is "metal" industry suitable for me? The reason for asking is though the offered company is in plastic injection business, they are also involved in tool making. At the same time, they are also looking into doing metal stamping business. If an offer is very attractive but belonging to the "unfavorable" career, what should one do to avoid the "clash"? Thank you sincerely.

    1. In theory, overall; the Finance industry is considered as belonging to the metal element. 2. Thus, from an industry stand-point; is is considered as not suitable to a weak wood element person. 3. In the past, a butcher is a butcher, a merchant is a merchant. And in the past, the industry often mimic the job scope. 4. Nowadays, often one can generally classify: The industry; one is in and the job scope of function one does. 4.1. Thus, although the industry (Finance = metal); you can further look into your job scope or function. 4.2. If your job scope is in the water element: e.g. such as Public Relationsor I.T. department; such careers beneifit the person according to…

This are some considerations: 1. In today's real world, real people, real careers; be prepared to have such things like what you mentioned not purely belonging to just one element but can also most likely represent : especially TWO or (even more) elements. 2. Thus, the old mindset of: sloting an industry into only ONE single element is "history". 3. Especially if one has some knowledge or look at a guide and figure out that this industry may belong to two elements. Does it sound reasonable? If so, you have your answer! 4. Thus in my opinion, to me, also, what you wrote sounds reasonable. 5. The term multi-tasking is common place today. So is the term: multi-skilling: wher…

These are some considerations:- 1) Sales ofPackaging Machines 1.1 If the main job function of the person is in sales, then it is considered as a Fire element person. 2) MarketAnalyst in a Oil Company 2.1 Frankly, I am not too familiar with such a function. But if the company seeks a specialisation such as a graduate in Marketing for this job; then it can be the Fire element. 2.2. But if this job has more to do with consultancy or some form of management consultancy then this belongs to the Metal element. 2.3. But if the job has more to do with Strategic Planning to grow the oil company; then it should belong to the Wood element.

In my opinion, an airline pilot has to do with earth element as earth element is related to transportation. And a plan literally is a transport be it transport of passengers and/or cargo. Thus airlines are typically in the area of "transport". Although, another way of looking is that these transports are mostly "metallic". Thus the career element is earth, but surrounded with "metal".

  24. In my opinion: 1. I personally feel that even in exactly the same career; it can differ in element. Why? 2. It has more to do with the individual who takes on with the job. 3. For example: I would interpret Singapore's First Prime Minister job function as more to do with Wood element. While Singapore's current or 3rd Prime Minister more of a water element. 4. Why? 5. The First Prime Minister is in my opinion, full of vision and although all Prime Ministers are orchestra conductors; the first PM is able to fully make use of his team: and make substantial growth of the country = Wood element. And on occassions, make tough decisions = Fire element. 6. The current 3rd Prime M…

  25. Dear Cecil So glad M Luther asked this question - I've been wondering how macro or micro one should go in analysing the elements in a career. Do you look at e.g. the type of industry the company is in, i.e. manufacturing = water? Within that company, there is likely to be many departments, so you could end up in H.R. (earth), marketing (fire) etc. etc. The manufacturing company may very well produce a product molded of hard polycarbonate plastic (metal). When you want to find the correct career element to prosper or enhance your own element, do you need to look at all the above factors? Kind regards Toni
