Dear Jason, Usually, it would depend greatly on your personal Ba Zi i.e. the position of the main entrance door rather than the position of the garage whether it be at the left or right side. As this changes totally the main door direction. If you like to consider, there is a specific report that we have specifically tailormade to look at Good Houses. This is the Paid Good House Report. And it analyses all 24 directions = 360 degrees and specific to e.g. the breadwinner. In my opinion, this is a worthwhile consideration and the direction of the main door can be an advantage for a new house/and for the owner. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

These are some considerations: 1. There is a general consensus amongst geomancers that there should not be a difference in the practice of Feng Shui for both North and South hemisphere. 2. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: the question asked is how "vulnerable" your frontage or home is to sha qi or poison arrows. 3. Simply from a top-down view: does the cul-de-sac cause a "slice-into" the home i.e. a sha qi (poison arrow) or 3.1. In the even if there is a run-away vehicle, can this vehicle run-amok and plough into e.g. the main entrance or windows or other "vulnerable" parts of the home. IF the answer is no to para 3 or 3.1 then one is said to be reasonable ok from the cu…

In my opinion, the concept of evil eye differs greatly in many cultures. And the use &/or beliefs in an "evil eye" extends from the early Romans, the Greeks, Israelites, Tibetian, Turkish, Iranian, Muslimand a dozen or more countries BUT not the Chinese. The closest the Chinese have is the twin door gods to protect the home or the use of various types of ba gua mirror(s). The evil eyehas more to do with beliefs and culture or astrology. China or Chinese culture does not use nor featureprominentlythe "evil eye". So you asked the wrong question in the wrong forum. As I said, earlier to each, their culture. In Singapore, we do also have a predominantly Indian community a…

    1. In my opinion, the best way to approach such a question is to see if your question(s) is linked to any common sense (if any). 2. Customs and Beliefs 2.1. For example, the Chinese Cantonese dialect group dislikes number "4'. As when pronounced in Cantonese literally means "die" or "death". 2.2. This is pure common sense. And because the Cantonese don't really like number 4, it also affects some other Chinese thru intermarriage between Cantonese and other dialect groups or if the population by large is made up of Cantonese or Cantonese influence. 2.3. For example, Hong Kong besides Canton, China has the largest pool of Cantonese. And even in countries like Singapore …

  13. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I'm a gua 7 that makes the east a death sector. However star 6 is metal, 1 is water, and under bazi I'm strong fire. Is it as bad for me? Death sector is the worst of the 4 bad direction under the eight house. The East sector of the house is Wood element. as a Strong Fire, wood only makes you stronger, thus is considered again a unfavourable suitability. So it means that you are entirely not suited for any bedroom or facing direction of a house that is East. The flying star of the bedroom isn't too bad. However, as long as your bedroom is unsuitable, no matter how good the luck of the room, you will simply not be able to benefit from it. Ano…

  14. One of the best method is often to allow qi to flow into the room. Especially if the water star "is close" to the window area. Simple thing like after a heavy rain, ventilate the room. Anonymous wrote: My bedroom has Water Star 8 (and Mountain Star 6, Base Star 9). I would like to activate Water Star 8, but I read that one should not put a water feature in the bedroom. Does that mean I can never activate Water Star 8 in my house? Does putting crystals help? Thanks.

Dear Cecil, What do you think about the birth time of the house? Does the house belong to periode 6 or 7? Btw, we have red pavement in the frontage (North). In fact, the majority of the frontage is red colored. Does it matter? Thanks in advance. Dear Elena, Please see below:- Although a U shaped house is not ideal but overall, it is still acceptable design. Yes, the addition can still be made six months after they move in. Please email to robert-lee@3dmail.com so that he can provide you with a free credit to generate the month auspicious date. Here, you need to obtain the breadwinner's date of birth (time optional) and if the month of reno is clear, use the report to find out a good date to start the renovation. The above looks ok to me. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Frankly, determining an industry or job specification is based on a certain mastery of the Five Elements Concept and also Mandarin characters. In some sense, your question is like: why are there only 5 elements: metal, water, wood, fire and earth? This sort of question. Anonymous wrote: Thank you very much for answering my query re career element. May I ask also, what are the characteristics of a metal element career? I understand that a metal career would include finance, entertainment, politics etc...what do they have in common? Thank you once again for sharing your time and expertise. Have a great day !

  18. Dear Jenna, Thank you for bringing up a rather interesting question. Let me first elaborate that in the past, especially in China, toilets was never `attached' to the house. It is usually situtated a distance away from the house. However, in our modern society, this is no longer possible. Like the concept of the toilet, litter bins or boxes should preferably have a lid and closed when not in use. It should be emptied regularly. Where possible, use trash bags to contain fluids or liquid waste or drained away. The purpose of the lid is to keep any animals from scavaging the litter bins. It is acceptable practice to keep the bin below the sink (for those who have an electric…

Frankly, this is more a house hunting related service rather than free advise. There are so many condo developments in Singapore. Every condo will have some good or bad blocks. And even within the block there are good and bad units. Furthermore, depending on the direction of the apartment faces, the house luck will be different. 20. Dear Felicia, In this situation, we can apply the Yin and Yang Principle. Under the Yin and Yang Principle, grave sites and the Church are considered " Yin ". In such a situation, you need to counteract this with Yang element. What you can do here is:- 1. If your house has brick walls, natural red brick walls are ideal. Red is the most Yang of all the colours. 2. If the walls are plastered and smoothed, you can paint this side of the wall red or any other Yang colours e.g. bright green, bright blue etc... 3. For the window frame, you should also paint it in matching bright colours. 4. Avoid too many trees particularly large ones as this can harbour the `spirits'. Please a…

Dear Anon, Yes, this is exactly the point. If you live in my country, there is no way one can change the name unless there is really a good reason that can convince my country. We all have to be practical when it comes to such things. Yes, as mentioned clearly in my earlier mail and for this report, we also clearly state so. We are all adults and it would be silly to kid ourselves of the facts. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  22. 1. In addition, one must remember that we are in a modern society with internet connection. 2. Nowadays, nearly every part of the whole, Feng Shui is practised. And logically, how is it possible for everyone to be able to obtain the exact 6 series of coins? 3. A good Feng Shui practitioner will always tell their clients, not to "over spent" unnecessarily on - commercial Feng Shui products. Thus, to activate a "mountain" a simple red brick could be just as effective as an amertyst stone costing US$1K! 4. Thus, imagine we are on a ship, and it has a leak. Why pathe it with gold? Ultimately, the ship is sinking if we do not fix the leak, first! And the gold (or your gold …

However, each unit / apartment has to be looked at on it's own merits and also whether how well it fits the breadwinner. Overall, it was TOP in 1999. (99 years lease)And todate, it is already 6 years old. When some of the units were put on resale in 2000, price per sq foot (psf) was at a high of $621 to $528 psf. Further to my earlier reply: It is `acceptable' for flowers to be placed in the bedroom especially for those who are `recuperating' from an illness. This is inline with the common practise of giving flowers to those who are staying in a hospital bed especially after an operation. Hospitals are `more yin' environment especially the hospital bedrooms. Introducing some `Yang' into the rooms such as flowers will certainly brighten it. This can be introduced to a bedroom especially for those who are recovering e.g. from an operation or illness. This is more a common practise rather than `shoulder' it on Feng Shui.
