Dear Anon Please see attached sketch for a better understanding of a poison arrow aimed at the main door. Apologies for the rough sketch. Just look at the concept. Here there are two issues: 1. the narrow corridor where the lift faces the main door. This is Sha Qi and can be cured with two plants placed strategically at the location. 2. I did not properly draw the angle at which the corridor aims at the main door but if it does it is a poison arrow. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

We both belong to west houses. I have read some books and referred to your site. The reading has aroused my interest in FS. Hence I planned to make some changes. But I am afraid to make changes without proper guidance. I cannot afford to go for paid reports as of now. With the help of your site, which is the best site for FS, I have details for my family members. My main interest is to improve our money inflow and career prospects. Now since NW and NE are our properity sector I want activate this…

Hi, I checked the center of the house, the bedroom is probably part in the northeast sector and part in the east sector. The whole house is a long rectangle where the long wall of the house faces 330deg if looking from the center spot. My bedroom is on the short side of the house right on the top of the garage, closer to the central northeast (45deg) side of the house ( there are another small room adjacent to my bedroom close to the central east direction 90deg). I am not exactly sure about the exact length of the house, so it is hard to say if my bedroom is really in the northeast sector or mainly in the east sector. So my question would be if my bedroom resides mainly …

  9. Respected Sir, Thank you for your guidance on the issue of my flat. I sincerely apologize for the following: 1) My DOB which is 25.08.1968. 2) Secondly for the purpose of 8 rod metal windchime in the northeast window. I read in one of the FENG SHUI books locally in Mumbai (India) that hanging a 8 rod metal windchime in THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE HOUSE/LIVING ROOM INVITES INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE. I will be in touch with you as for more queries on my family members.

Dear CECIL, I had posted a similar question earlier. My confusion is that houses sitiing in the East directions are called EAST houses. Then according to this the house should face West(sitting in East),or North(sitting in South) or South(sitting in North) orNW(sitting in SE).Now out of these NW and W are not considered to be good directions for the East group people, especially if they happen to be Death and Disaster directions for an individual. Please comment. Thanking you very much.

  12. Dear Sissie, In the Traditional Feng Shui practise of the use of mirrors:- 1. If one seek consultation especially from say Western Traditional School of Feng Shui especially the majority of such schools in US or Canada, in my opinion, I believe, these practitioners would normally say that Ba Gua mirror or even mirrors are "hocus pocus." 2. Therefore, I am aware that such schools say coming from the West, do not believe in the use of Ba Gua mirror(s). Even if the practitioners are Chinese (race). 3. But the distinction here is that although they are Chinese in origin, because of their cultural association i.e. they were born entirely or most of them in the West, they woul…

Dear Cecil, I'd like to ask some questions regarding a business element. As we know that the element of trading is water. But are the things being traded important too? For example, what is the element of trading electronics parts? Water or metal or fire? What happens if we trade many things which cover all 5 elements. If possible, could you please write an article on your web site that contains the element of each kind of business and career. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis

Dear Cecil, Some observations led me to ask you that questions. Here is real life example. A family has 2 daughters and has the SE totally missing. Now the eldest daughter is WEST group and the younger one is EAST group. In this case rather than affecting the elder daughter the younger daughter has a tough life physically and mentally. They share the same room, so it cant be that any other sector is affecting them. Maybe I am wrong . But Iam still on my to learning more about feng shui and want to explore all possibilities. Thankyou. Seeker.

Dear All, In this second part, one can also see how often, many FS practitioners get their Ba Zi wrong. In fact, these two case studies are real life examples, where, these two persons, were `mislead' to think that their elements were i.e in the first earlier example - strong earth. While in this second example, they were told that the analysis resulted in this case as a weak earth. This example shows how, this person especially due to double combinations of his element became a `strong earth' person. Depends on how comprehensive the analysis, most of the analysis takes only the basic 4 pillars. Thus the resulting elements would be:- 1 Water 2 Earth 2 Wood 1 Fire 2 Metal …

Dear Yew-Meng, 1. Further to what I had mentioned earlier, one reader had recently wrote something like this:- " I cannot see the resemblance of roads as equal to water courses ". 2. It is good to bear in mind what the above user had wrote. 3. It is not often or that every other house has large water positions around their homes. And for this reason, and the fact that as the above user had correctly questioned whether can we treat all roads as equvalent to water courses? Like any other Shapes and Form, each home or building has to be looked at individually. And something as `fantastic' as Water Dragon Feng Shui may seem out-of-place if there are really no real water at…

Further to what I had mentioned, I also checked with some shops and according to the proprietor(s), next year's tong su (Tung Shu) is currently not available yet. The estimated time of arrival in Singapore is next month i.e. in the Chinese 7th month. In my opinion, you should not have a problem getting a copy after 9 August 2002. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  23. A Dreamcatcher is the Native American way to guard dreams. It gathers bad dreams during the nightime hours to be cleared away the next morning at sunrise. It is usually placed in the bedroom above your bed. Most people use it n childrens rooms to protect them from bad dreams during the night. As for having a small one in the car, it may have to do with dreams involving a car accident that they don't wat to have anymore or we just think it looks neat up their by the mirror.

Hi! Cecil,Thanks for your reply.I hope I have put my questions clearly this time. The room is located East and I draw a flying star chart period 7 main door facing S2 172.5 to 187.5 and the star in the East section, are 5 base star and 5 Mountain 9 Facing Star. ( I think?) The Bread winner's Kua is 8. and he sleeps in a North room. Please could you tel me what should I do for the room in the East? The person in that room has Kua 7. My main worry is that the room in the East doesn't have good stars. Also one more question how do you find out what is a good Mt & water star and what is bad. Thanks, Regards.
