Dear Albert, Thank you for your information. 1. For the graves, once it is exhumed properly and if there are no longer any more graves (left) on the site; the graves would usually not pose a problem. 2. As mentioned earlier, with construction activity that may usually take 2 years or more would effectively, neutralise any of the points under Para 1. 3. Although the land is on a slight depression, I believe normally the developers would first lay the foundation and most likely the car parks would be underground. The first level apartments would normally be higher than the depression. 4. It would be acceptable for the MRT tracks to run parallel (and this would not create …

Dear Robin, Frankly, the best advise is not to purchase a flat directly above a garage as this is inauspicious and there are no known *effective* cures i.e. in my opinion, as of now, I cannot recommend any cures for this. 1. What you mentioned has more to do with common sense than Feng Shui. 2. As black absorbs heat more easily than other "lighter" colours. 3. During the 1st Chinese Emperor's reign, he made his ministers and scholars wear BLACK. (To represent water element). Thus BLACK does not necessarily means or impliesinauspicious. 4. Under the I-Ching blue represent difficulty. Thus if it is not BLUE, but black.. still not an issue unless one thinks "wrongly". 5. In war time in the 1940's to 1960's, wouldn't be great if the house roof is black in colour? Natural camofluage in the dark. 6. By the way, it does not matter or rather, just because you are a strong wood and he is a weak ear…

Dear Jackie, To be frank, based on the current information given by you on the Eight House + Eight Associations it is difficult to comment at this stage what has really `happened'. As it may or may not be true of the problem i.e. career sector lies in your `death' intangible force. Hi, 1. Have you generated your Free Eight House Template. If not, you can follow the steps shown under this url: http://www.geomancy.net/house1.htm or go to www.geomancy-online.com to generate a free computerized report. The main consideration after you had generated the Eight House Template is where possible use a transparency. `Combine' the two of your Eight House Template on the transparency. To be distinct, use two different colour pens to write down each of your good and bad intangible influence. Here what you should do next:- 1. Find the centrepoint of each layout plan. 2. Superimpose the template on any house layout plan you are looking at. (aligned to the North So…

1. This link has some information on Ferraria Park condo: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=43&mid=26473&new= 2. One of the major concerns of residents especially those that had purchased units at the opposite large connected blocks 8 to 14 is the high wall and also the potential road noise from cars coming into the estate towards your underground car park. 3. Generally, under current Flying star period 8, your stack 29 Block 18 is facing a wading pool. And If based on the most yang qi the facing direction of the block (stack) is a Period 8 South 1 facing direction. You may have to look or find out more of the characteristics of this …

Hi, Frankly, I have not read the book you mentioned by Eva Wong so unable to comment on it. Usually, the author would provide some information on their School. If it is BTB (Black Hat Sect) my advise is to avoid these books. From the description of the book, most likely it is on the Shapes and Form. In general, it is easier to apply the Shapes and Form as it is more general and can apply to most homes. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Some `Western Traditional' School of Feng Shui particularly those who practise Flying Star Theory have concern about the rotation of a metallic fan. To them, it circulates metal and their concern is that if a sector is out of balance and if metal is the catalyst, this is a `concern'. 2. In my opinion, looking at the commonsense approach to Feng Shui: Nowadays, many fans no longer have metal blades. And even if the blades are metallic does not mean that it generates `metal'. In view of the above, I personally feel that there should not be any cause for concern over the use of fans. I believe that they are a cheap and economical method of cooling a house. Th…

Dear Lin Hong, Please see below:- Purple `belongs' to the Fire element or South. The range of colours at the South range from Pink to Red and all shades of Purple. 1. Please note that us human beings have our ba zi (or individual and combined ba zi) elements. 2. In addition, a home also has it's own "birth chart" or ba zi. Usually, it can be evaluated using Flying Star Feng Shui. A proper Feng Shui audit uses both Para 1 and 2 to determine the best colours for an area. This is normally how it is done, today. In the past, Feng Shui was not so "sophisticated" then and some either apply Kindergarten type of Feng Shui; where north = water, south = fire etc... Unfortunately, there are some who still uses this type of Feng Shui.

Dear CT, You really cannot do much here. The only `last' resort is to try to use small dragon (four claws and below) and aim it directly at the sharp corner. It can be a decorative piece preferably made of wood. As wood destroys earth. In my home, I aimed a wooden dragon carving at the clay pointed roof (Earth element). It worked for me. When I did renovations to my home, I removed it and had several problems. But since that time, I placed it back and everything is fine. Frankly, the wooden dragon was a gift to my dad many years back. Please don't ask me where to purchase one cause I really do not know. If you are in Hong Kong; Singapore or Malaysia or any Asian country, y…

Dear Cecil, Thank you for your most informative feedback. I have to admit, I have visited Lillian Too's website a few times and noticed that she now has a "FS jewelry" being sold online. I was flabbergasted when I saw that. I immediately questioned her integrity. FS jewelries, of all things.......what's next, FS make-up or FS nail polish line? What color would give you luck on a job interview????? Anyway, I will look into the books/authors you mentioned. Thank you again very much and hope you continue to share proper information.

Dear Elena, In terms of Feng Shui, the main concern is also on "landslides". Homes that are too high on a hill may pose a concern especially either through erosion of surrounding slopes or heavy (or exceptionally heavy rainfall). Because of this, this is why homes that are on top of slopes should be looked at carefully when one is considering purchasing such a home. Often, of course, a site survey has to be done but generally, many rich people have purchased homes at the middle of the hill area i.e. they are not so steep but at a good level where even if there are some soil erosion, there is no fear of a landslide. Thus, in general, it is still ok to have a hope where…

1. Please see attachment with my comments in it. Two formats available: either: .pdf format or .png Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Cecil, Could you please advise on the planning of the hall layout as per attached: 1) The kitchen is within the line of sight of the main door entrance. I am planning to build a partition to block it. Full height or half height? 2) Is the current location of the dining table acceptable? 3) The fridge is beside the toilet wall. Should I change it with the sink? 4) The sofa is also directly in line with the entrance. Is this ok? Thanks and gratefully yours, Anon

I have an idea now to swop my main door to the gate position (subject to management approval). so my main door will face West then. However, both me and my hb is East goup people (Kua 1 and 9) but my daughter is West group. Is it advisable not to change my main door position (original south facing if gate don't consider)? However, my main door also facing the living room balcony which is also not very ideal.
