In my opinion, NW should be worse-off: as generally it affects the career of the male-head of the home and also no "heaven luck" or poor luck. The saying goes "it is the lesser of the two evils". Kenny L. wrote: Hi Master Cecil, I'm a bit confused. Which is more serious? Kitchen in SW or in NW?

Can I check with you for Riversails condo, if need to compare stack 12,15, 31 & 34 fengshui, which stack will have better fengshui? All 4 stacks faces the Upper Serangoon Road, but only Stack 34 have unblock river view. Other 3 stacks are facing the upcoming BTO flats. Appreciate your opinion on houses facing the road.

Hi Master Cecil, I have read quite extensively (on internet and on this forum) on position for wall clock but still have some doubts - e.g. I know it is inauspicious to put clock on top of a door but some sources say clock should NOT look inwards into bedroom while others say clock should NOT face a window etc. Can you see attached floor plan of my living room (windows facing north east direction) and let me know which position (in red) is the best to place a wall clock? A - behind dining table but may be looking inwards into the bedrooms B- beside altar but looking out to the windows C-beside a wall to kitchen Note - the position of alt…

Money Plant has to be one of Singapore citizen's all time favourites! As the leaves are broad and looks like a heart. It can be grown in a bowl of water and rocks (but becareful of mosquito eggs). When grown in a pot, it is a climber or vine. And it can climb walls. And can grow quite large especially if it is grown on the grown. However, if you were to utter these words "Hey! Why are you growing Devil's Ivy" No body would believe this other name. Money Plant belongs to the Araceae family. Origin: Solomon Islands.... If you do visit Solomon Islands... remember... $$$ plant comes from there

Dear Casey, Casey Wong wrote: hi I'm planning to get a tattoo design of a KOI fish on my leg somewhere around the calf area. Therefore, my question is whether will this effect my feng shui, since tattoo is permanent. Thanks in advance. Frankly, tattoos are more commonly associated with gangsters especially in singapore during the 1950's, 1960's and 1970s. So it already have a negative impact. You see just like why people have bad impression on number say 4 = die, when most think about tatoo it often relates to something bad or illegal. In feng shui, you want to have more good influence than bad influence, so naturally, tattoo would also be viewed as having bad influen…

1. Frankly, it is best to apply Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the sector of your parents bedroom sector since you mentioned that your mum had a stroke. 2. If parents bedroom straddle between two compass directions then one has to evaluate and find out more whether any of the nasty sickness stars such as #5 = misfortune, sickness and #2 sickness. 3. The above are more important than a 2 dimension view of the bedroom or second guessing whether the bed is better to be placed next to the bedroom door or the other end. 4. You have to properly evaluate all these instead of prematurely, seeking advise. As it is like the blind leading the blind! And what can be worse! If s…

I am looking at a period 7 house that faces NW. I understand the 8 wealth star is trapped. Is there a cure? There is a large sky light in entry way as one walks in the front door. Does this effect the period of the house at all? If it is a period 8 house than that changes the luck, right? Thank you, Amy Belisle When truth and desire meet, dreams are born.

Hi Cecil, I am interested in purchasing a unit at Caspian. Attached is the layout. Would like to check whether the toilet is at the centre of the house? What negative impact does it have when there are some "missing corners" at the left of dining room & right of living room as shown. Thanks! Annie

Feng Shui of Waterwoods EC : Some bedroom walls are thin and not of concrete/re-inforced bar. For example, if one looks carefully at the attached layout; the wall between bedroom 2 and master bedroom is just a thin wall. Especially bedroom 2's wall is made of gypsum board; take extra care of EMF raditiation from the rear of the TV set if any. Please see attachment

Chinese New Year (CNY) andAuspicious Day to Start Work: 2nd, 6th or 8th day When do we open for business during CNY? In this sms, a client asks " In the first 15 days of Chinese New Year... can you choose a good date for me & partner. Unless one is getting married etc... then may consider choosing an auspicious date. But generally for Chinese New Year and which day to first open for business; should apply it in a global context. Thus, if one reads the past threads; one should try to open for business on "even days". And avoid "odd " days....

Regarding this you can use another theory called zi wei dou shu (Star Chart), some kind of Chinese Astrology. You will be able to generate a zi wei dou shu which you can use to predict luck (for gambling or whatsoever.) Yes, you can read up from books, but just remember that as far as possible look for those written by personal who had say training in Hong Kong and Taiwan. These book written by them will contain more accurate theories with regards to Feng Shui. Western books so far most of them, except those converted from these Hong Kong or Taiwan masters, have only general information. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Guess I have to shift asap as its indeed the toilet bowl behind the bed! Other remedies I will do is install a canopy over the bed as there's a ceiling fan on top; Clear out the storage space underneath the bed as its packed. I hope I can see a difference soon, and will continue to do more research. Thank you!

1. Usual centrepoint is at marking in red "B". 2. SOME geomancers, use the method as shown in the attachment and figure out the centrepoint is at "A". 3. Finding the centrepoint is about finding the centre of gravity of the home. 4. The LAST method is to photo-copy a copy of the layout plan, cut out the outline and paste it on a card-board and try to balance a pin to find the centre-of-gravity. 5. HOWEVER, not much information provided as to what is the terrace about? If the terrace is an open space then technically should not consider the terrace. 6. In addition, there is another method: "eye-ball" method where one visualise the protrusion and try to guage the total area…

Dear Anon, I believe Lillian Too is applying the Eight Associations or Life Aspirations where the NE is the Education sector. The significance of the meaning of this Gua is a "steady progress in meeting targets". Items symbolising earth or fire e.g. crystals, stones, quartz , bright lighting etc.. If one reads the messages both in this forum and the resources materials on this website, you will find that not much emphasis is or was given to this concept. The only response or advice given if users asked whether it is acceptable to place such objects at the locations is a `weak' yes because this is still traditional Feng Shui but in a very broad sense, very generalised FS.…
