In my opinion, especially Tai Chi is a slow but (calculated to strengthen) since it has always been one of the most popular activities especially for the "aged"; I feel that it is OK. (Subject of course to the caution: that some who have certain health concerns; check with their personal doctor, first.

I have confusion over the above 3 combination as you may not have a good ba zi but a good feng shui house will assist you in many ways but will a good chinese name help too. A good name does help you in some way to boost up what you lack in your ba zi. However, it is not 100% necessary to bring you a great deal of luck change compared to the Feng Shui. A person's luck is affected by Heaven, Earth and Human luck. So my ranking would be:- 1) Earth Luck / Feng …

Quote: 1) What is the Wealth Element & Colour? 1. Please refer to the link, below:- http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm 1.1 Under the Five elements concept, there is a cycle known as: "Destructive cycle". 1.2 Literally, it is known as the "destructive cycle" because, taking an example: 2. In the "destructive cycle diagram" , "Wood destroys earth". 3. Just imagine a large tree (strong wood) with it's roots digging into the earth to get nourishment. 4. Thus, we can also say that the Wood (tree) draws wealth from the earth. 5. For a strong metalperson, again in the "destructive cycle",metal destroys wood e.g. a block of wood costs $4, but if you a…

Dear Anon, Since it is a non-religious item (more towards decorative item), a simple "throw-away" would be acceptable. If you have a big plastic bag, simply place it into the bag, tie it up and throw it away. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Ha ha ha, that's interesting. But Mr Lee, if there is a red pipe (fire water hose pipe) at one side of the door, do you think the chinese red banner is still needed to scare off the kirins ? Kindly advise me on the above question as i am in doubt. Thanks very much. BR

You wrote: "If one's maternal grandmother pass away, does the wedding need to be conducted within 100 days or postpones to 3 years later?" Yes, this is by-right (or considered "politically correct" statement). Or "should be the case". You also wrote: "I have checked various sources which mostly mentioned these only affected to one's parents, only a few mentioned that this taboo affected to grandparents as well." Again, there is no hard or fast rule. Nowadays; some are quite lax with the interpretation; especially in the context thatthat specific grandmother(was) not staying with them. Thus take it as more "distant". But traditionally; yourfirst statement shouldbe the corr…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Remove it during Yang timing especially best with natural daylight. Thus if you are at home; the best time to remove it is between 11am to 1pm and not later than 3pm. (3pm onwards is yin timing). 2. The most common method of disposalofitems (if it is "clean")is to warp it up in clean used newspaper. Place it into a normal plastic bag and throw it into the bin. 3. In fact, the rationale for your previous master's writing is to protect the ba gua mirror with a charm. Thus it seems puzzling that such a mirror can offend "yin" energies. 3.1. Frankly, this ba gua mirror and charm is suppose to be effective for "Chinese, Thai, V…

Horoscope compatibilty is only one area that considers your year of birth vs another person's year of birth. In addition, in terms of compatibilty you need to check on thee five element compatibility, ba zi compatibility and human luck factor. Dear Sable, For Qing Ming, the best time to offer prayers is 10 days before and 10 days after Qing Ming. Thus 27 Mar and 3 April would fall within the 10 days prior to Qing Ming. (Qing Ming is 5 April 2005). Thus the last day to offer Qing Ming prayers is 15 April 2005. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello, I am trying to decide between two apartments, A or B... Both are 2-story loft apartments built in 1985. I've tried to understand the info you have provided but am not sure which unit has "better" feng shui. I would greatly appreciate your assist! => A is 500 sq ft with it's own entrance (townhouse style), no one above or below but does share the SE wall with neighbors. There is a wooden staircase with 13 steps and back risers that shares a landing with the front door, but the front door is perpendicular to the stairs and there is a smaller entry 'mudroom' on an angle (the stairs do not face directly to doorway). All is made from wood, hardwood flooring…

Dear Boss Peng, Thanks for the site/lot map. I now have better picture of the lot. In my opinion, this plot `lot 2' is not favourable since, it is downward sloping behind the plot of land and also between the North-West location. If the slope is not properly redressed, usual problem would be the result of financial problems for the breadwinner. If you can try to forgo this plot i.e. lot 2. As I find it inauspicious. Dear Ellen, 1. Personally, many years back when I first started on Feng Shui, I was equally concerned about how well the carpet and the flooring `matches' the breadwinner's Ba Zhi or element and its strength. 2. Here, I would try to relate the flooring + breadwinner's Ba Zhi in relation to the Five elements concept. 3. If you were to asked me today, how I feel about it, I would say that, my thinking has been `altered'. 4. Not so much because, I have changed my mind but rather, instead of looking at flooring under the Five Elements concept, look at it more on the Yin and Yang perspective. 5. Unde the Five elements concept, I would `crack' my brains trying to see if there …

  20. These are some considerations: 1. Yes, in a broad sense, one MAY not go wrong when choosing a Mandarin name UNLESS:- 1.1. One also wants to literally convert or have an identical name in Mandarin. 1.2. Here, some English name(s) when pronounced or translated or phonetic-sound-like some inauspicious Chinese name. 1.3. For example, sometimes names with "flowers" may turned out to be a name associated with a Prostitute den in Mandarin. 2. Otherwise, if you never going to convert or translated your name into Mandarin, then there is no chance that you may get this wrong. 3. Please see attachment. All my brothers, sisters and cousins belonging to the same generation are define…

If Feng Shui is to be considered, you may have missed issues especially with Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. For example, how the drainage flows out of the home to external surroundings, etc....and many other such factors need to be considered. What we have now is the disappointments with Flying Star Feng Shui. Time and again, I mentioned that even if one scores 100 marks under Flying star, bbut all else "crumbles" outside the four walls, the result can be failure.

  24. Dear Kritchnop, 1. If one is applying ba zi to relate to car colours then simply use the free tool e.g. in this website located at geomancy-online.com to check one's ba zi element. 2. To be honest, colours are considered "nice-to-have" and not a must! 5. In addition, most of us have three categories of careers (based on our ba zi) e.g. Career with wealth Career withpower and authority and Career that is acceptable or OK.
