Dear Simon, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, May 31, 1999 7:35 PM Subject: Two Homes !! The house which you are staying will have Feng Shui influence over you. The house which is rented will give the tenants the Feng Shui influence. You can only activate or bring the influence to you if you are staying in the house. Feng Shui is not by remote control, where you can enjoy feng shui from somewhere else. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Further to what I had mentioned, if the glass blocks are squarish or rectangular - piled together to form a "wall", this is OK. Do avoid circular glass blocks - much like the pothole of a ship or those found on a ship i.e. circular windows. Here, circle is considered not auspicious especially since it could symbolise a "sinking" ship. Where, the pothole of a ship seeps in water and thus sinks a ship. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some of the considerations: 1. A picture or sketch tells a thousand words = none. 2. What kind of altar is it? 2.1. A Catholic altar? 2.2. A typical Chinese altar? Even within the Chinese altar; there are many groupings:- 2.2.1 Ancestor altar 2.2.2Guan Gong (usually face the main door) 2.2.3Guan Yin (Goddness of Mercy) 2.2.4Jade Emperor etc... 3. Even buddha "altar". 4. Indian pooja or puja room / altar. 5. In general; an altar:- 5.1. Should not have it's back against a toilet wall 5.2. facing a bedroom 5.3. Preferred that it should not be at the NE or SW sector of a home 5.4. Placed below abeam There are LOTs more.. just that my fingers need to crawl somewhere …

Dear Anon, 1. Ideally, good houses have main doors that are `protected' from Sha Qi or poison arrows. 2. It is acceptable to have the main door on the side of the house. In fact this layout is quite common and should not raise too much concern. 3. Here in Singapore, there are many houses especially public housing (apartments) that have doors that are on the `side'. The advantage here is that there are few poison arrows (other than some apartments) with doors facing each other. 4. Most of these houses are `rectangular' in shape and thus of a good `shape'. 5. More importantly, the frontage of the house is equally important. What one needs to do here is: - since there are no…

  10. 1. In my opinion, there are no known scientific concerns posed by say strong magnetic influence such as those emiited by powerlines. > 2. MRI's used in hospitals have eeven more powerfull magnets. 3. However, it may be different issue if the tower supporting the poweline slices thru like a butter knife thru an opening of a home such as when standing at thhe balcony, it slices thru it sort of thing. 4. Or tthe tower or pole, can be any other pole closeby that might collapse against part of the home. 5. Otherwise, chances of such occurences is far less unlikely that a vehhicle accident, and also so much less than a plane falling out of the sky.

  11. Dear Maria, maria cutrona wrote: Thanks For the information! My kua number is 7. Does it make a difference if the lot # is 7? Since this is my address and I am a West person, and my house door will be facing the West. I am now planning to pick out a house plan using the feng shui and the information that is given to me by geomancy. As mentioned, one way to check suitability is whether is is your Kua number. If 7 is also your kua number, then I would say that it is a suitable number. Of course, there can be many other ways to determine auspicious number. I often, find that house number is nice to have a good one, but more importantly is the house that has to be good feng…

Dear Users, Please note that:- Is currently based on my observations and could be a coincidence but have always kept an open mind and Keep-in-view of further occurences of the above i.e. I do see more of such `coincidences', or if you know such cases, please feedback to this forum on this. As for now, do take it as just my personal opinion (not to be taken too seriously). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Please read below:- Again, this is a Chinese religious belief. For the Chinese, there are many "gods" or more appropriate "deities or fairies". You see in the Chinese due to many novels etc, Chinese believe in the various deities or fairies are originally some person who in his life time done something significantly great, thus, in future generations the Chinese began to worship them as a sort of symbol. Kitchen god is one of them. However, I have not really tell you that story, as I have not read on it, maybe you can look it up in the library. But in terms of Feng Shui, the kitchen is often regarded as an important place also, due to the fact that it represents …

Dear Judy, Thanks for the picture of the layout plan. 1. Yes, you can use an ordinary compass. 2. In the past, I had investigated many years back the `long houses' especially in parts of East Malaysia. These long houses, even when they were made of wood had unusual compass readings where the readings internally vary in different compartments. 3. I hope you don't mind if you can: 3.1 Go to a barren land or an open space near to your home. And take a compass reading perhaps from different areas. (Becareful of some open space as it may be littered with (hidden) such as thrown away metal etc... 3.2 Goto the different "compartment" and take the compass reading to check if the…

Further to what I mentioned earlier, there can also be a 6th category i.e. Type 6 - Houses that no human can live in. Fortunately, this type of house is either rare or has been built badly under shapes and forms. Where, one can still stay in the house but may bring calamity to the owners. General example: frontage facing a hill. Or `chopping' off the head of the house to build a new extension. Or a house where on both sides is surrounded by a house on each side. Here, both breadwinner can `die' in the space of 1 year after they have moved in. Note: this type of house is `rarer'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Further to what I had mentioned; in most industries a triage is important. In many instances; I mentioned A & E; where the french word Triage originated. For all modern vehicles; there is an ODB port; often located near to the dasboard. When a vehicles goes for servicing or troubleshooting; don't the Service engineer plug in and connect a laptop; to check for error codes? Without such a Triage how to determine exact problem?

Also, where would you advise on placing a water feature in the home?? We are planning to get one plus some indoor plants. What kind of plant would be good asides from the "money plant"? Thanks for your help and expert advise!! Cheers.

Dear Angelia, 1. Frankly, instinctively, we should look at the bedroom layout and always sleep in a "comfortable" natural position. 2. Either sleeping under one of our four best directions AND/or sleeping in a favourable Flying Star sector(s) are both considered NICE-TO-HAVE and not a must have. However, if we do encounter very bad flying star numbers like #5 and or #2 and or with #9, then, these are the worst stars and if so, we should or if could avoid sleeping within these sectors. For other flying star combinations, they are usually of a lower concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil
