These are some considerations: 1. Usually, rarely if any one looks at good dates especially for Hospital appointments. 2. One major consolation, thou is that overall the 15 days of Chinese New Year is considered as auspicious for the Chinese. 3. More crucial occassions are auspicious dates for weddings, moving in...

These are some considerations: 1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, instead of hanging mirrors and faceted crystal balls; in traditional Feng Shui; a hulu or bottle gourd is often used, instead. 2. As mentioned in many previous messages; usually; in general bad Feng Shui arise when a home has three or more major "leaks". 3. Often, although the toilet is considered as ONE major leak; often it is the combination of this leak plus two or more major leaks (or a combination of several minor leaks into one).

Dear Cheryl, cheryl ludwig wrote: Thank you for your reply. However, even in my human luck, my family is not that close, unfortunately. The closest person to me, my little brother, just passed away. My other brother is in the Navy and travels all the time - has been to Iraq numerous times and helped in the tsunami (the Abraham Lincoln). Anyways, I also am single . I do have some very close friends, whose parents are wonderful to me in a loving way. So, perhaps that counts. I hope so anyways. Yes, any good friends will also count. Just that in most cases family bonding if any would probably be stronger. But that does not mean that good friends will have weaker relationsh…

External Shapes and Forms is about the study of the surrounding environment. Often, some homes have different shapes than others. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, we have to identify what kind of element our neighbour's home are. For example in this illustration: the owner's home is often considered as an earth home. And it's immediate neighbour's is a FIRE element.

Please refer to the attachment. The LEFT side of the table is based on a holistic approach to Feng Shui. Not even one single bit of this area is covered by you. However, your current cures and actions lean towards the RED zone or the FAR RIGHT side of the table. And the title is simply called "BULLSHIT" Yet, somehow, you hope to find a magic cure, just like that? This is Utopian.

Dear Debrah, 1. Best is that the ceiling is high. The higher the better as this will have less impact on you. 2. Avoid sleeping `dead center' (immediately under the) " V ". 3. One permanent way to counter act this is to use a `poster bed' i.e. with four pillars. One can use a cloth material overhead. (But this depends on your budget etc...) Sleeping under a slop is not as bad as sleeping directly under the " V" or a pillar. Depending on the material of the " V" e.g. if it is wood, one way is to use `metal' element to counter this. As there is not much information on your personal element or its strength is available, you may have to forgo this option. As for the aircon ve…

Dear John, Where best avoid purchasing a house with the lift well. This is not good especially it is so close to your main door. The thickness of the wall will also affect the influence. A brief look at the combination effects of the elements looks ok as the elements seems to contain the inauspicious effects. For a more detailed analysis, you can refer to the Flying Star module. If your have auspicious stars such as double 77, it is best if it is found in the main door otherwise the next best alternative is your bedroom or some place where you commonly use. H However, if it is not found in at the main door then, you will not be able take advantage of the add…

Frankly, if you are so interested especially in Flying Star numbers, please go and take up a course on it. Katrina L. wrote: Cecil, What does each base star number represent? I only know that base star number 1 represents water. How about the other base star numbers? What is the significance of each base star? How does it affect each sector of the house? Is it less important than the mountain star number and water star number? I know these are a lot of Qs again. Hope you can further explain to me. Thanks much.

1. Apartment (House number) analysis is about the storey (floor) or level a home is. Thus youshould input: 02 - 3342 . Where 02 = 2nd storey and 3342 is the apartment stack's number. Frankly, there are so manyNumerology methods. Too many methods available. Thus, somemay consider it bad while some may just consider the numbers acceptable or even auspicious. Therefore, it is difficult to commentsince one has to find out what method was used to say that the house number was bad and this is not based on either the above Para 1or other Feng Shui methods. 2.Para 1, is based on Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui. Where each level is considered as having different qi influenc…

Dear Alice, No, the colours does not matter nor the background. What is more important are; 1. The number of fishes. Often, it is 8 or 9 fishes. 2. What is most important is to look at the fishes. They should look graceful, not exactly plump but has a nice profile; (I hope you get what I mean) i.e. they should not look thin or skinny or undernourished. They should seem to swim and look "nice". Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Michelle, Have just read that you have a fish pond at the back of your house,so do i. And i have got to quote a few words here. 1)If your family is goin thru problem, the fish pond behind may not be the only cause. But before drainin the pond.... I think it is best that you get the Flying star and 8 mansion check in your house...or else the pond will be a waste. 2) As far as i know the dragon and tiger concept works with the "FACING" of the house. So whatever behind your house got nothing to do with tiger and dragon. BUT water feature directly behind the house is bad feng shui. My pond is located behind but it is on the left side..So it is not directly behind the hou…

These are some considerations: 1. Water is not necessarily a bad thing if it is permanent as opposed to seasonal. 2. How the home is built and facing would determine whether it has good, bad or neutral Feng Shui. Reference: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=11355&new= 3. The major concern is the effects of global warming and the irratic weather behaviour. Hopefully this does not translate to extreme flooding on the property especially if the creek overfills.

Hi, Symbolism in Feng Shui is very important. Even if it is not a real object, symbolism is a powerful `tool'. For example, when we mention `blue roof'. If one is not Feng Shui aware some may ask this question what has blue got to do with water? Here, if we are Feng Shui " aware " we will link Water = Blue. Equally, if we have a wooden object shaped like a pyramid. Do we consider it wood = Wood element or because it is pyramid shaped it represents Fire element? In most cases symbolic takes precedence over the material. For the above example, the pyramid shaped object be it made of metal, glass etc.. should be considered a Fire element. Coming to the artificial fish tank,…

Dear David, Thank you for the sketch of your home cum office. 1. The large tree outside is still considered a threat to your main door. See if you can use a ba gua mirror above the main door to deflect it. 2. Water position: 2.1 I do hope that the water position is not on the same wall as the stove. As this is inauspicious. 2.2 In addition, if you are a weak fire or a strong water person, then it is considered very unfavourable to have a water position inside your home. 2.3 If the current water position location has bad stars such as #3 or #4 (both bad wood stars) or a combination; 2.4 Then under the productive sequence of Five elements concept: Water helps wood (in this…

Dear Anon, 1. `sum of ten', double 7 and double 8 are strictly based on Xuan Kong or Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. `Sum of Ten' For example, if the #numbers add up to 10; then this is considered as an auspicious number. Often, this is factored into under the Eight-One combination where the 9 by 9 luo shu grid when ( times ) X together i.e. 9 x 9 = 81 combinations. Here, for example, a Flying star numerology of #2 combined with #8 which when added equals sum #10. This is considered an auspicious number (interpretation). 3. Double 7's and Double 8's This is the most popular concept. Where for example since we are now under Period 7; if the main entrance or door has double 7's e…

Dear Anon, As Robert has mentioned, Chinese Lunar New Year does not always fall on the 4th or the 5th. One good way to find out the dates is to go to this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/90-2010.htm Under the above URL, you can check the `Start' date of the Chinese Lunar New Year from 1990 to the year 2011. You will see that it does not always fall on 4th or 5th. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. In my opinion, there are other considerations. 2. For example, in this Sample Male person's chart, under "Your Ten Deities & Key Characteristics" Authority (zheng guan) = 4 3. Here, one considerationis that one can compare each partner's Authority (zheng guan). 4. For example, if his partner (wife's) Authority is higherthan his; then in Singapore context we can say that his wife will dominate him: 5. And in such a situation, his wife can be considered as " The Minister of Finance and Defence at home".Andthe man? His position in the home is akin to a "Minister without portfolio". 6. There are lots more that ba zi can derive information between the t…

"You are the one that posted the question on: Walk-in-closet". I can assure you that AGAIN, this question has very much to do with commonsense. Thus, as mentioned under your previous thread "Walk-in-closet"; One should put on their thinking CAP and try to find out the answer, on your own. You don't need a Cowsense Geomancer to do it for you, rite? Off-track: In the past, in the 1980's IBM marketing personel would give away... pads with a bold BLUE word "THINK" on the lined pad. I believe, that was how; later, IBM chose to name their PC = THINKPAD! I strongly encourage you to put on your THINKING CAP... Got it? GET it?

My sincere apologies; I did open your message; closed it; open it; closed it several times; even the earlier posting.. Is it correct placement, in view of the fact that when some person enters the house, the side portion of aquarium may be visible to him? Frankly, none of the tools are used e.g. plotting the Flying Star etc... and to say whether it isa correct placement or not is like the old cases where one did not even do a "Feng Shui Triage"... sort of thing.... If the answer of point no. 1 is no, then -What if we position the aquarium in a way that person entering the house cannot see the aquarium while entering through the main door by covering the sidewal…

Dear Guest, In Singapore, Tower equates Block. And in our public housing, Block numbers are excluded in the input. In our condominums, tower is often used but also not keyed-in. Thus, you should exclude Tower 6. Simply key in #18-7 (Please note G =7 and not 6. 6 refers to the letter F). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Regarding this Analysis of the Grand Duke 2001 by Zheng Dan. Most of the analysis are correct as he as based it on the Ba Zi Feng Shui concepts of the clashes / Harms / Punishments which occurs between each of the 12 animal signs. This is just another good example of how powerful Ba Zi Feng Shui can be. Usually, any clash / harms / punishments will often result in some problem unless of course there are sometimes "good clashes" / "good harms" / "good punishments". Though often, most of the clashes are usually bad unless they help to reduce the unfavourable elements. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I realised that kitchen is not good to place at the north. Generally, if you look from it at a fundamental level. North=Water, so a kitchen in the North will be like Fire vs Water which clash. However, frankly, this is only one level of looking at it. I mean given that there are only 8 directions in any layout, at some point some layout will certainly have kitchen located in the North sector. So does it mean that everyone who has the kitchen at North will be doomed? Of course, not. This is because the overall houselayout vs the house flying star luck isequally important. If the house is able to take advantage of the frontage or external Qi…
