Dear Anon, Further to what I had mentioned, the key to understanding Flying Star Feng Shui is that "one must not simply - only eat and sleep on this method". I often see, some FS practitioners get into heated arguments on Flying Star Feng Shui. Looking only within the four walls in the home. Often, what is most important is that Flying Star is but one of the many methods used. Further more, I personally find that what is most important is the external factors. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rose, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Thursday, April 29, 1999 11:10 AM Subject: Schools of Feng Shui Frankly, I have no time to develop another of my domain names: palmistry.net but at a later stage. In Chiromancy or palmistry, you can look at the hands and discover how many offsprings one have. Later on, after we have fully developed Geomancy.net, I will add modules on Chinese Face and Hand reading... So, do look out for more developments. As usual we will also merge technology with all available Chinese astrology, divinity methods ... isn't it exciting?

1. Fundamentally, here, you are applying the Eight House theory. 2. As many of us are aware, the Eight House theory looks at how suitable the house is to the owner(s). 3. In addition, if we have several homes to decide upon, which is better, the other common approach is to perhaps determine, between these homes, which sectors are good or bad vs the other homes. 4. For example, home 1: main door (inauspicious) 2. living room (inauspicious) sector, toilet at husband's prosperity sector; we then compare home 2; home 3 against home 1 to see which home is better. 5. Other than the above, we have to use other methods : Shapes and forms and Flying star Feng Shui, to determ…

Dear Alan, You can find out more about how to get the main door direction using this illustrated link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htm You need to first find the centrepoint of the house. And from this centrepoint; check the direction of the house i.e. stand at the centrepoint of the house and from that location; take a compass reading. This is where the direction of the house is determined. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Pedro, Yes, there are a few considerations for any doors:- 1. It should always open inwards into the house. (Avoid having a door that opens outwards of the house). 2. If it is the main entrance door, the door or doors should be of equal size. The door(s) should be proportionate to the frontage or area of the house. 3. If the door is at the side, it should open towards the wall. 4. It should preferably not be in the "middle " of a room but preferred that it should be at any one of the side of the room. If not the door would be `hanging' in the " middle of the room. " Therefore priority must be given for the door to open inwards. It can be on any side of the room. Wher…

A pyramid roof simply implies that the building takes on the element of Fire. A pyramid roof shows a pointed arrow upwards e.g. /\ / \ || Here symbolism is important. What this means is that it is pointed upwards e.g. progress. compare this with " V " downwards pointed which means down or a fall or thumble. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Click this link to view pictures of the God of Wealth Did you see the various views of a bronze God of Wealth in the above link? Did you see the God of Wealth riding a tiger and holding a tael of gold, ingot? Does the God of Wealth look `fierce'? Dear Dylan, 1. It is quite common to find such bronze statute i.e. of the God of Wealth, sitting on a tiger. 2. Frankly, I do not see any problems with such a statute. Firstly, usually this figurine is small and the main `character' is the God of Wealth. 3. Symbolically, since he rides on the tiger, the Tiger can be considered as `tamed' by him. 4. Although this is not Feng Shui belief, ideally, it should be `accorded' the respe…

Hi, I guess there would be an effect from these features especially in the construction of the `bulding' and the elements that go into them e.g. metal wheel etc... 1. Most of the time, these objects are far away from city areas or homes. 2. So far, I cannot recall any books on such features in Chinese books or no reference on them. For now, I am unable to comment on this subject matter. Perhaps, if I do come across any or users who are Dutch may like to share their experiences. Warmest Regards, Cecil

If you have the time, please read this resource by Robert Lee:- Extract from this link APPLYING LOCATION FACTOR INTO BA ZI 3. Using GMT time zone is a bad way to apply the location factor, because GMT timezone only affects the longitude changes. Furthermore, GMT has been simplified so much so it is no longer as accurate as in the past. 4. Our stand on this issue is NOT to add these level of complication to the analysis. Meaning that you should just use your local time (regardless of what country), to analyse the Ba Zi. This is because if you truly understand how the Ba Zi works, the HOUR pillar will not make a maj…

Dear kaushal, Why don't you take the feng shui course offered by the cecil and robert lee right here on internet and trust me it is a good course and if you have doubts or you don't understand something you can always get answers from them personally. And if you find somebody in your city make sure they teach traditional feng shui and not the fast food feng shui called black hat tibetan feng shui since BTB is not real feng shui and will cause more harm than good. Good luck!

Dear Susan, Most likely both of you are conscious about the the mirror above your bed. The best is to buy an opaque film, cut out the profile or outline, first. And if you know how to D.I.Y. simply, clean the mirror first, and then add a bit of soap into a spraying bottle, and spray the water onto the mirror. Once done, just paste the film and use a tool e.g. like a credit card or atm card to smooth the surface. (Do remember to use some cloth to collect the spilled water. Covering it with symbols, would often not help if the base (mirror has not being covered up). For the Chinese, the double happiness symbol can be used. But, since from your name, you are not a Chinese, …

These are some considerations on Block 403:- 1. The Block's facing stretches from NW facing to NE facing. And there are even some units that face "Easterly". 2. I assume that the block of flats was built or TOP under Period 7: 1984 to 2003. 3. Period 7, NW facing directions NW1, NW2/3generally today (2004 to 2023) as having small luck as the water wealth under the Period 7 is trapped in the centre. 4. Better units are those facing NE but these units face 406 thus blocked view. 5. Lower floor units of block 403 especially the ones facing the T junction i.e. the road leading from Gardens at Bishan / Bishan condo park etc.. should pay more attention even though it is…

Dear Anon, As you did not provide your time of birth, I am not able to confirm what is your element (assuming the time of birth makes your element weak). However, based on that date of birth, you are a Strong Wood. Please use our free Ba Zi report to determine whether you are a weak or strong person. Our ba zi report isn't crippled in anyway, as such what you see in the free report will be exactly the same as our paid report. So please use that to confirm if you have the time of birth information. Since it is often not possible to change the location of a toilet (if any), then you have to maximize luck from elsewhere. Anonymous wrote: Is it consider bad feng shui if the toilet is located in the North-West direction? If yes, what can be done to improve the feng shui? Thank you very much for your attention.

Bad Architectural Design: Erh.. Fire that bloody architect! In this development: Punggol Sapphire, Punggol Field Road, there are units where standing at the main door; one could see the shared or common bin. This common bin is where all the tenants in the same floor bring their litter to be thrown into this common bin. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, and symbolism; most people don't like to open their main door directly seeing the common bin.
