Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. 1. In my opinion, your home has only a "slight" protrusion. Nothing to worry too much about. 2. Based on your built up area; the missing corner is not an issue either as it is a solid area encompassing the garage. 3. Therefore, you should not be overly concerned with this thing called : protrusions or missing areas. But, more important seek to find out leaks and if possible enhancements = Elsewhere. 4. Please see attachment.

  2. Dear Richard, Please see below:- In authentic heaven and earth luck assessment, here are the main considerations: 1. It would be a disadvantage for a weak fire or strong water person especially the breadwinner to have a water position inside his / her home. 2. In authentic Feng Shui; the true `meaning' or the closest to a wealth corner for a water position is thru the application of Flying Star Feng Shui. For example, locations that have #6 or #7 and if the condition - is applicable; can exist with water position. Often, and depending on the Managing Agents or later, the MCST; such areas are common property. And, some condos have strict rules on placing anything a…

Thanks Plum Blossom. I have done the rounds of our very tiny Chinatown with no luck. I managed to find one store where I bought his entire stock of coins and that was only 60. But I am now after the more unusual shaped one..the chances of which here in Perth are almost non existent. Thanks again for your input. Glyn

Dear Carina, Please see below:- 1. Ideally, please check that it should not be in the North sector of the home. 2. Where possible the stove should face inwards i.e. face inwards of the main door. If the above are met, it is still considered acceptable. Usually, a small table, be it hexagon, square etc.. (coffee table) will not make an impact on the house. Usually, the table should not have a poison arrow aimed at e.g. the sofa. As for the Ba Gua table, its angle or 8 corners should not pose a problem as it is not like the corners of a rectangle or square table at 90 degrees angle. I assume that the beam must be a concrete beam. If you are staying in Singapor…

  5. Your question is similar to another question. And here goes:- Based on the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 1. Heaven (Born with) 2. Earth (Feng Shui) 3. Man or Human Luck (feel good) So long as it makes you feel good or comfortable with it, why not? Since feeling good contributes to "improving one's luck". Particularly = Man or Human Luck factor.

  6. (Actually I did write a longer article but it was lost when I tried to post pictures with it. So on the second attempt, I didnt write ingreater details cos I was worried that all the writing will be lost again) Sir, 9ms 7ws was described as "fortunately there is weak fire to control the bad star #7's weak metal, but it is insufficient so make use of red to control metal". I have beenkeeping theMaitreya Buddha's statuein my wardrobe for three years but I decided to put it there now with the dual purpose of hopefully activating my mt star as well as to make offerings of coins. You'll notice that there are already some $1 coins there already. In the past in another house, I …

Thanks for the prompt answer Master Lee. As you'e said, NE facing isn't really that bad. The overall structure is best though, except for where it faces, also, I failed to mention, upon opening the main door from inside, you can see a water tower in a distance, most likely in the east but is a bit far and cannot cast a shadow. Are there any effect on us?

  9. 1. Like all investigative sciences; in order for you to make any enhancement(s) and/or reduce any negative qi: Feng Shui Triage. Tell us: how to remedy ifno investigations are done: TRIAGE 2. The Eight House / Eight Mansions (4 Good/Bad directions) concept can be used to futher look at the best bed-head direction. 3. Shapes and Forms of the bedroom: often this is limited by the bedroom door, windows and other fixtures in a bedroom e.g. entrance to the attached bedroom. 4. Alternatively; if the above are not applied; then it is as good as doing Trial and Error Feng Shui. Logically, it is either going thru Para 1 to 3 or "free for all".

Dear Kyra, For sha qi or poison arrows, the main concern would be whether, the poison arrow is aimed directly towards the main entrance door or the window(s). Based on your brief description, looks like the Shapes and Form of this house is not that favourable. Initially, try to see, by standing at the main entrance (looking out) and from the various windows of your home to check for poison arrows. If there are poison arrows, do try to `protect' these locations. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Products are often "Bull-shit" 1. For many of us, if we look back to our grandparents "time" or even "parents" time, there were no such thing as "crystals" or many of the newly invented objects or items "in-the-name" of Feng Shui. Thus most of these products, aim to extra money from our pockets ... and as a result line the pocket of the sellers. 2. Many of these products do not come with a guarantee card that; for example, after purchasing it e.g. the three-legged-toad; one would instantly win a lottery etc... Far from it. The seller got it made in China for a few Chinese Yuan money and sell them at high mark-ups! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cah, 1. The main concern here is that #9 is a fire element. Or some call it the purple star. Where purple is also the colour of fire element. 2. In many previous messages regarding Flying Star; especially taking into consideration the 20 Year Flying star : where there are three variables: Mountain# ; Water# and Base# 2.1 Again, we must look at all these three variables in order to see whether #9 as a Water star "can be enhanced or not". 2.2 Under Period 8, even for comparing just the Mountain# with Water#; there are lots of instances where there are MS#5 with WS#9 and worse many sectors have Base#2 or #5. In this case, unfortunately, insteadof enhancing #9.. one …

Dear Arivm Teo, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Sunday, May 09, 1999 11:58 PM Subject: Flying Star The most important is first to take note of the interaction between the mountain vs the water star. This normally produces the influences such as illness, or etc. After that, when the two stars are analysed, to make it even more comprehensive a comparision to the base star is necessary. Certain combinations does not really create any major influences as such only with the base star can the details be known. Not sure if you are aware, we have recently revised the flying star…

Dear Maria, Please see below:- In this sector, there is star 2 and 5 making it extremely strong Earthly influence. Therefore, you can use both the Metal and Wood cure at teh same time to create more balance and reduce the earthly influence. Generally, Wood destroys Earth and Metal exhaust Earth, so either way both are cures that can be used. You can choose to use Metal only or Wood only or even both. But in your case, this has 2 & 5 so it would be better if you can use both for this year. In 2002, you need to review to see if what stars comes in to further fine tune it for next year. Generally, you need to first focus on the 20-year (particularly Water an…

  17. Dear Bill, Please see below:- The three legged toad (gold or wood) is a commercial product. Many sellers sell it on the basis that they belife it is suppose to `bring good luck' to the owner. There is another type of Ba Gua mirror with the Two door Gods. Again, this is said to protect against evil spirits. It is usually used by some practising Feng Shui practioners (with links to their personal religion) e.g. Taoism and they themselves believe that their clients should place these Ba Gua above their doors. From what I understand, if you are talking about the First Heaven Sequence Ba Kua, it is said to be originated by the ancient Chinese sage King called Fux…

Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net These are some considerations:- 1. In general, somehow for convenience; an industry is slotted into a specific element. Thus, in general; oil as you had mentioned is considered as belonging to the fire element. While in general, transportation is considered as belonging to the wood industry. 2. Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers; Look at where we are today! We are in the age of "multi-tasking" and "multi-skilling". 3. Therefore, there is really no end to the various (if what questions) like we transport oil so what should we be considered? What happens if one is transporting milk? What industry should that be in. Or we are tra…

Dear Mary, In my opinion: 1. Examine the frontage of the house. Does the frontage have a main entrance and "further away" on the same frontage, a set of sliding glass? If this is the situation, it is usually not advisable to have too many openings i.e. opening the main entrance door at the same time as the sliding glass doors. 2. If the above is the case, a set of long sofa can be placed in front of the sliding glass door. 3. Some people would like to apply the Eight House theory i.e. such that they prefer to seat at locations that are beneficial to them. And if the above position is beneifical or one of your good sectors, and you often sit there than that's fine. 4. Anot…

  23. Dear Jo, Frankly, currently I do not see any `harm' in installing a wall uplight next to the painting based on `intuitive' Feng Shui. However, normally again this should not be a problem other than if you have done a Flying Star chart and found that the sector is unfavourable or where `fire element' can do damage to that sector. Other than this consideration, it is acceptable to have the uplight. Hi Bob, 1. There are two views regarding the porch: - It should not be included with the house. - Some other practioners are unclear as to include it or not and `play' safe by including it as part of the home. 2. In my opinion, you should not include the porch to the house. If you do not include it as part of the house and find that there is no longer an indent, then it is fine. 3. Frankly, so far there are few practioners who uses such a technique i.e. placing a Ba Gua at the indent to offset the missing corner. In my opinion, it is ineffective to use a Ba Gua mirror to offset the indent i.e. it will not work. One way to offset the indent is through landscaping if this i…

  25. Dear Reyla, 1. How long have you been staying in this house? 2. Are you facing financial distress? 3. Overall, there are two major Shapes and Forms `handicap' for this home: 3.1 Please refer to marking `A'. ================================ In addition to the toilet at the centrepoint of the home; another further problem is that the centrepoint or the centre-of-gravity for this home does not have clear space. Here, qi from all areas of the home cannot congregate or meander at this centrepoint or `flux'. Often, if one stays in such a home for more than 2 or 3 years, one can feel the impact of financial problems. Since qi cannot effectively flow `about' in all directions. 3.…
