Dear Wasis, What I meant is that often, at the frontage of the house, has many openings. For example, at the frontage; there is a main door e.g. 2 wood doors plus a full set of sliding glass doors for the living room. In such a situation, the mouth of the house is too big. (In proportion to the frontage of the house). It is similar to the layout mentioned in this message. Where, there is a main door and immediately next to it is a balcony. Dear Debasis, In my opinion, the figurine should be considered more as a decorative piece. Frankly, there is nothing magical with the piece. Personally, I have such a piece (as shown) attached. I personally liked it because, it was made in the early 1930's. It is nice to look at because of his (buddha's) lovely smile and nice to see kids climbing (taking advantage) of him:) As mentioned, we should treat these pieces as interior art pieces. Master Robert, Regarding the protruding wall, i found a suggested cure for on the internet. It is by adding struts. I think that the is idea is to make the whole wall looks like a "ba gua" shape. You have not mentioned whether your work space is an open desk or already have a low height partition.
