Dear Anon, The fundamental questions are: 1. Where is the romance sector. 2. If there are more than one interpretation of romance sector, how should we go from there? 1. Where is romance sector? Some Feng Shui practitioners/authors use the Eight Associations or Life Aspirations/Association concept and pin-point to the South West sector. Such practitioners or authors, consider that it can be applied to say the SW sector of the bedroom. 2. If there are more than one interpretation of romance sector, how should we go from there? In an earlier forum message, one can find that: Under the Flying Star, #8 represents the "Romance" sector i.e. at North East. I have also reproduc…

  2. I have a similart arrangement in the cubicle. The only difference is that the columns are ROUND. How can I do something about this ? In this sitting position, I am facing East to South which is good as I'm a East Group person. Another possible cubicle without columns have a South to West direction. I am not sure which is a better choice for me. 3. We want to know if we need any feng shui cures for our new home. See attached image. We are not directly in line to the road, but are slightly to the side of it. Any cures, remedy, or protection advice?

Link to Map Dear Master, My family is considering this home in the United States (left hand driving) and we are wanting to hear your opinion on this home in cul de sac. It seems like it is parallel to road so it should be better? The blue arrow points to the front door. This is an area with many Asians, so it is possible that the design is influenced by feng shui. The road is very quiet. Thank you master!

Dear Winnie, As you had mentioned or "suspected" earlier that not all homes at a cul-de-sac are inauspicious. As mentioned in my previous message, "It Depends". Since no two homes are often the same, the type of curve, traffic flow around the cul-de-sac and even issues like how water flows (into the home if any or how water flows out of the house) are also important. Similiarly, I also mentioned that things like the main entrance in relation to the cul-de-sac is equally important. Other factors include the facing direction of the home. This is determined using Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the period the house was built, born or had a major renovation. How suitabl…

Hi Master, can you recommend if this house is part of cul de sac bad feng shui? It is not part of the round about but just within the street. behind the house is a townhouse. https://ibb.co/Cw5TfXs

    1. The saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words". 2. A line of sentence cannot fully describe the specific "cul de sac" as a home can land anywhere along this cul de sac. And there are different consequences or no-issue for some homes.

These are some considerations: 1. There is a general consensus amongst geomancers that there should not be a difference in the practice of Feng Shui for both North and South hemisphere. 2. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: the question asked is how "vulnerable" your frontage or home is to sha qi or poison arrows. 3. Simply from a top-down view: does the cul-de-sac cause a "slice-into" the home i.e. a sha qi (poison arrow) or 3.1. In the even if there is a run-away vehicle, can this vehicle run-amok and plough into e.g. the main entrance or windows or other "vulnerable" parts of the home. IF the answer is no to para 3 or 3.1 then one is said to be reasonable ok from the cu…

Dear Master Lee: For all the houses that sitin the cul-de-sac "circle" (excluding those on the parallel street leading to the culdesac), they are homes that "will never become rich" EVEN IF their front doors are on the side(not facing the cul-de-sac) and the drive-ways are painted grey. Is this a true statement? Very respectfully yours, Pam

    1. Yes, in Singapore, there are similar plots similar to the plot 18 you had mentioned. 2. There should be more study, but generally, the main entrance door should not directly face the gate. 3. Often the best is to make such a home on this plot as rectangular as possible. And just imagine, the driveway; a car drives up to home. And the better situation is the main door runs parallel to the driveway - is one way to neutralise any sha qi from the cul-de-sac.

Dear Pam, From looking at the Pepperwood, personally, I would not buy this home since the entire facade is fully "exposed" . In my opinion, I personally feel uncomfortable - if I were to buy this home even if the poison arrow i.e. to me it seems low traffic but, if it is a road leading towards other homes, then, I would seriously think twice about it. Since there are limited choice i.e. you have asked me an opinion as to whether this or Ashwood, I would personally feel more comfortable (last resort) purchasing Ashwood instead -- BUT, if given the choice, I would not do so unless the lamp post is relocated away from the house. The lamp post is a "stubborn obstacle" - w…

Dear Ricardo, Perhaps can go to this conference: Feng Shui `Tips & Tricks' and review the following messages:- 1. The Plus Equilibrium - dated 3/22/2000 2. Plus Equilibrium Question - dated 3/23/2000 The above uses the water position to balance houses at a T-junction. I am not sure if the above applies to you. If not, apprecaite if you can further elaborate or provide more details. Thanks. Cecil

  18. Dear Christine, Frankly, Feng Shui is by no means a miracle cure for every single situation. In feng shui the main goal is to attempt to create a harmoious environment so that everyone will feel good. When you feel good, you will feel more relax, sleep better, work better and thus giving you the ability to focus on your career. The only thing here you can do is to ensure that you check the element compatibility between the you/husband and your step-daughter. This will help to reduce some tension between the three. ie a weak wood andweak fire will be in best harmony if you have more Wood (green/brownin the room for example). Use the compatibility report in the member …

Dear Vikas, Apologies, I have to read between the lines, as I really do not like, going thru a chunk of information, that has too many values (computation values) for analysis. In Feng Shui, there are some misconceptions on the locations of North and South. Some would totally advise avoiding placing fire at the North. Since fire and water does not mix. Alternatively, at the South, some say cannot have water positions in this location. In my opinion, this is a wrong conception. In many cases, some Feng Shui practitioners have (even by mistake) allowed water to be at the south and fire at the north and vice versa. This interaction between the two, is contrary to the above p…

Dear Seco, Plants and flowers in general, no matter whether they are have thorns or not, are geneally good. It is always nice to have some greenery, or nice looking or smelling plants to liven up the place. Anyway, even for thorns are quite small, a few of them will not create a massive sha qi. Thus, it should be no problems to have roses in that area. Furthermore, you already have put up some Metal cures which should be enough to neutralise the sector. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, 1. There is a difference between 2-3 and 3-2. 2. It is best to as you had mentioned keep quiet for a 2-3 (2mountain 3water) combination. 3. If it is the opposite i.e. 3-2, then this is considered a separate combination from 2-3. Thus one can still use constant effect of metal here. 4. Just last week, I had a client who had her master bedroom located at the East. She had constant health problems. The recommended cure is to: a. Use two separate sets of 6-coins at a distance of 1-2 metres each e.g. place one 6-coin at a corner and another 6-coins 1 metre to 2 metres away. In addition, if one is using a wind chime, it should be placed outside the window. Alternat…

    1. It is highly unusual for three "normal" sized rooms to straddle the north compass direction. Usually at most two rooms are affected. 2. These are some of the considerations:- 2.1Are there any windows in these rooms? Yes/No? 2.1 Even if there are windows, are there any that are larger? 2.3 Even if we do have windows, are they opened all (most) of the time? If the window(s) are not opened, for example, seldom if ever opened, then qi will often not flow. So no issue - no need for a cure. 2.4 Are any of these rooms occupied or unoccupied? If unoccupied, or not a bedroom, then no need to place any cures. 3. If these are not bedrooms, then one may consider a wind chime…

Dear Ken, Please see below:- The main purpose of Feng Shui is to deflect beneificial qi (or air movement) to allow it to meander and circulate within the house. Often a Shapes and Form practitioner will `mentally' look at this flow. And it would be good that such qi or air can slower meander within or circulate within the confines of corners especially in the living dining (since most houses have both `connected' together). It is an advantage that qi can (especially) if a partition added, help to `move' qi thru the centre flux towards other rooms (for a rectangular layout) and vice versa. The best solution therefore is: 1. To use a screen or partition which should pre…

Mr Cecil, May I know what shall I put to cure the combination star of MS#5 Base#6 WS#7 at the facing direction of a house. Will windchimes and water plants such as money plant grow on water sufficient to cure the bad star. What about the same stars occupy part of the bedroom (empty space), can water plants be put in the bedroom? Thanks Joan
