    1. Plastics are derived from petro-chemicals. Petro-chemicals is considered a "chemical" or fire element. But if the plastic is hardened like "poly-carbite" it can be considered as metal element. Much like glass or tempered glass is generally considered as metal - because of it's harden properties - if we consider the material. But, if platic(s) is molded or can be molded or injected into a wavy form then based on just the shape or profile, it can be considered as a water element. 2. Please note that if all these sounds confusing, but yet logical, then as the common saying goes: " An item can be all things to all differentpersons". 3. Cane furniture with metal frame I…

Dear Sophia, 1. Traditional Feng Shui has it's roots to the Five elements concept. 2. In my past forum messages, authentic Feng Shui has to do with both the Five elements concept and numerology based on say the Flying Star Feng Shui numbers. 3. Thus, whether the question of using an 8 wooden windchime is acceptable or not -- there is frankly no right or wrong answers. It is often due to one's interpretation and understanding or belief. 4. Much of many of the component of luck is "inter-twined" between Earth luck and Human luck! 5. This is because human beings are unique. And fortunately or unfortunately, most of us either have to be "swindled" or seem to think that p…

    1. Please note that the link has been fixed, it should be working. 2. Since both of you intend to stay at both homes, your earth luck or Feng Shui will be influenced by the two homes and even the place of work. Frankly, there is no scientific accountability as to how much luck or influence comes from which home. However, logically, if you were to stay at a home from Monday to Friday (5 days) vs Saturday and Sunday (2 days) then the weightage may be mathematically divided based on this ratio. But, really, must life be so calculated? 3. In my opinion, your existing home or the Monday to Friday home should have the highest influence. 4. As to missing corners, very recentl…

    1. Please note that the term that you had used should not be called "FAKE" or geniune. BUT rather, ALL Feng Shui products should be called "MODERN Commercial Products". 2. Thus majority of Feng Shui products are modern inventions and NOT fakes! Only antiques can be called geniune or fakes. 3. Many Feng Shui products are often symbolic. Thus, things like ancient or replica I-Ching coins e.g. those round coins with square holes may be used. Thus you can't call these coins fakes, unless someone tries to sell you one and you later found out that it is fake. 4. Thus, some symbolic traditional items that are often used by Feng Shui practitioners may include:- 4.1 Hulu or bo…

Dear Berth, It is best to attach a graphic file under the conference: " Conference for Attaching Layout " as this is easier to look and understand your situation. By the way, you mentioned that the `west' wall has an entrance but no doors. Does it mean that your bedroom does not have any doors. Thanks and looking forward to your layout sketch of the bedroom. 1. You wrote: I have read where purple and green should not be used in the kitchen this year 2. Even when applying Feng Shui; geomancers usually would look at the 20 Year Flying Star of the apartment and access the colours (if any to avoid). 3. But your statement seems so either short-sighted or impratical. 4. To most people reading it; it can sound like you either gona renovate or change the colours yearly or really don't know what to say... 5. From a general Feng Shui perspective, for the kitchen one colour that should generally be avoided is BLUE colour e.g. blue laminated kitchen cabinets. As blue belong to the Water element and may clash with the stove position. 6…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: If the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so it will still be considered as facing south even though the main door falls, let's say, in the south-west sector of the house. Am I right? Yes, that means your home will be facing south. This will be taking the facing of the house based on flying star which allows you to extend the macro flying star scope to even the surrounding area of the house. Taking the main door from the South-West sector from the center of the house is also acceptable but that will be more micro feng shui that applies to the house only within the structure of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET …

  10. Thank you for sharing the photos. Frankly, I am not an expert in this area. My guess is this set should most probably made approximately in the early 1950's or after 1945 to between 1960's. This is a rather slim set of deites as opposed to (in my opinion) more recent ones after 1970's which are "fatter". Frankly not too sure about the price today. In Singapore, there are pockets of shops.

    1. Yes, you can say that in general Food Industry and Real Estate Industry belongs to earth element. 2. If you are in the purchasing and sales; you have to perhaps look deeper. 2.1 For example, in general, most salesperson may do some purchasing but their CORE job function is sales. If sales, then this should be the fire element. 2.2 While Purchasing should also be looked into closely. In the past, Japan manufacturing success has to do with JIT (Just In Time) purchasing of inventory. In this arena or sphere or context, this entire JIT thing needs good co-ordinating skills. If so, can belong to the Wood element. 3. So far, your interpretation seems sound enough for the r…

    1. Based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; your attached layout plan is pretty common given the constraints of windows / balcony / toilet door / bedroom door and location to mount the tv set. 2. Thus overall, looks fine under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui.

  16. Hi Master Lee, I am looking at staying in a house of this attached floor plan but I am concerned about missing corners. Because of the position and angle of the door, I cannot really figure out if west and southwest are the only missing corners. And if so, is it a serious problem that can be remedied? I am also concerned about the irregular shape of bedrooms. Will that cause any problems in terms of fengshui also? Thank you very much for your advice.

For practical reasons, this is a last resort. So long as the stove is not on the opposite side of the wall, this is still ok. No issue with cabinets on the opposite side of the wall to store kitchen items. Anonymous wrote: Can the altar table share the same wall as the kitchen wall but without the stove at the same wall of course? If can, is it good fengshui toput cabinets at the same wall? 19. Hi Cecil, According to your reply to Peter Chen re:5 yellow, could you please explain what you meant by 5 yellow not necessarily be at the North this Lunar year? If I am not mistaken, 5 yellow will indeed stay there for the duration of the new year, although this doesn't mean everyone will be affected by it. Even if that sector of a home has other prosperous stars and the 5 yellow doesn't affect the lucky occupants, wouldn't it be necessary for one to be cautious and may be take some precautions like putting metal coins there. (to be on the safe side.) Thanks

Dear Anon, Based on my personal experience, a toilet above the 2nd floor would depend on:- 1. The level of usage of the toilet. 2. The higher the ceiling, the better. Under Para 1; water or water vapour may release `negative ions' or water gases so; it is always advisable to keep that toilet as dry as possible. One good thing is that usually, the sewerage pipes are on ground level (unless you also have a toilet) directly above it. It is best to place the bed away from piping from below. Sometimes, because of the gypsum board or false ceiling of the toilet, we may need to explore this further. It is best if the water heater (some of these) are located directly above the be…

  22. Started by myfs_88310,

Dear Anon, You need to have more Wood (green/brown) in your clothing on a personal level. And/or to create a triple combination flow ie:- Metal (white/gold) -> Water (blue/black/gray) -> Wood (green/brown) Once in a harmonious flow of combination, it does not matter if the decor is more blue, as the water will be converted to Wood, and the Wood is neutralised by Metal. Thus, the elements become in harmony with each other as opposed to having too much of a certain element. Thus, in Feng Shui, it is important to note that it is more important to have a balance of 20% of each element. However, that is sometimes too difficult to achieve that. Thus, we apply feng shui ba…

Dear Master Cecil: There is a sharp edge remotely pointing at the windows in the "back" of my house. Is a day curtain helpful in this situation? Regards, Jen

As NNTP does not accept attachment postingsif I remember correctly. Any attachment is usually removed. Dear Boss Peng, Thanks for the site/lot map. I now have better picture of the lot. In my opinion, this plot `lot 2' is not favourable since, it is downward sloping behind the plot of land and also between the North-West location. If the slope is not properly redressed, usual problem would be the result of financial problems for the breadwinner. If you can try to forgo this plot i.e. lot 2. As I find it inauspicious. Warmest Regards, Cecil
