1. If you had done a Search using the SEARCH button on the TOP left frame in this forum you can easily find these resources:- 2. For example, it is simply commonsense that for most bedrooms the overhead beam is only a few inches "deep". 3. And commonsensedictates that no one sleeps so close to the bed-head frame. We have the bed frame, we have the pillow. And by the time we place our head on the pillow; the saying goes "fear not" your head will normallybe so far away from this "so called beam". Commonsense:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=20407&new= Other resources:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&…

1. Based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; your attached layout plan is pretty common given the constraints of windows / balcony / toilet door / bedroom door and location to mount the tv set. 2. Thus overall, looks fine under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui.

These are some other considerations:- 1. The lowest common denominator: The Five Elements Concept. 2. The most powerful "Holistic Approach to Feng Shui" is what is known as Ba Zi Feng Shui with Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Why? 4. Ba Zi's lowest common denominator is: The Five Elements Concept. For example: an individual can be classified as say: weak metal or strong metal; weak water or strong water; weak wood or strong wood; weak fire or strong fire and weak earth or strong earth. 4.1. Belonging to each of the above is distinctive from each one or the other. 5. Flying Star Feng Shui's lowest common denominator is also based on the Five Elements concept. Here e.…

1. Please note that there is no such thing as a perfect home. Even if we were to built our home, there are often still - some flaws be it minor or major. 2. Don't over-eat concepts like Eight House (4 Good/Bad directions) as what is most important STILL is personal feelings which is strongly associated with Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 3. For example, even if one's good direction is directly facing a window or glare from the sunlight; after a while; even if it is a good direction, one may get headache from the glare! More... Hi, Please read below:- It is done to the breadwinner of the house because it is the breadwinner which is providing for the family. More accurately, it is the person who contributes most to the family. You can also take it as who ever earns more.

1. If Flying Star Feng Shui is applied:- 1.1 If the home is a Period 7: 1984 to 2003 and is a NW1 or NW2 or NW3 home. The water wealth is located at the centre of the home. This type of home, is considered as having "small" luck because the water wealth is "trapped" at the centre of the home. Thus, a water feature can be placed here to bring "small" luck. 1.2 For many new homes built from 2004 to 2023, then the base is #8 and not so advantages to have a water position at the centrepoint of the home. Unless there is moving water flowing from the front to the centre or if the drainage out of the home has been properly looked at from a Feng Shui point of view. 1.3 Many Pe…

1. It's a pity that only in this "crazy" world of Fast Food Feng Shui would someone want to change the bed-head position annually. Think about this! 2. Who in their right frame of mind has ever considered moving the bed, and re-arranging, say the bed room console, and internal arrangements in a bedroom? Again, only those too free or nothing else better to do. 3. Chinese Beliefs: Pregnancy VS Moving Bed - Annually Many Chinese believe that if one is pregnant, one MUST never move the bridal bed, else there could be a likelyhood of an aborted birth. Thus all these talk about moving bed-head to "cater" to the whims and fancies of the Grand Duke or the three killings is …

Hi Master Lee, I am looking at staying in a house of this attached floor plan but I am concerned about missing corners. Because of the position and angle of the door, I cannot really figure out if west and southwest are the only missing corners. And if so, is it a serious problem that can be remedied? I am also concerned about the irregular shape of bedrooms. Will that cause any problems in terms of fengshui also? Thank you very much for your advice.

Dear Peck Wun, Off-white refers to a colour that is white but has a tinge of grey. Or it can also be considered as white with very light shades of other pigments e.g. red, blue, green or yellow. When one look at off-white colour, it is exactly white but slightly duller white. Many of the new paints are white in colour but when we look it at an angle, it looks more like the e.g. pink. Here, very minimal pink is added to these colours. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Please advise is there a general guide line to choose a date for shifting house? What should I look out for when I'm trying to determine the date? Or is there a general calender for the whole year which should which date is good for shifting? In general, there are a few ways of checking to determine a good date:- 1. If you do not plan to use a tung shu / alamac calendar or ba zi, then most will agree that 1st or 15th day of the lunar calendar is often considered an auspicious date in general. 2. If you at least have a tung shu / alamac calendar, you can look for dates which is stated to be generally auspicious. In general, these should be …

Dear Ber, (This is not based on Feng Shui). It is best that you should not bring your 8 month old baby to the wake or funeral. As you have mentioned, there are cases where the baby will cry non-stop after coming home from such occasions. There are a few situations that may help: One is to buy flowers and lime and bring it to a temple to pray. Then use a clean bowl and fill the bowl with water. Add the flowers and lime and pour it over the childs head and the rest of the body. Remove the `waste' flowers and lime and discard it immediately. ----- My personal experience ---- Well, this is not entirely based on the same situation but I recalled when my younger brother was a…

1. Feng Shui encompasses various aspects. The topic you mentioned below falls under the category referred to as the "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. 2. The reason some individuals assert that what you mentioned is "NO" good stems from the "concern" that, in the unlikely event that one or more of the three cars were to catch fire, the rising flames could pose a "death" threat to those residing or sleeping above this area. 3. This is akin to the common belief that having a bedroom situated above a kitchen is undesirable. The same reasoning applies here, as the likelihood of a fire occurring in a kitchen is greater than in other areas of the home. In s…

These ae some of the considerations:- 1. Do a search in this forum for "altar" and there are many resources on this topic. For example:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27987&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=27336&new= 2. Attach a copy of your current layout plan with a simple sketch of where your current altar is and if possible also say the living room sitting arrangement(s) ... so that I can take a look at it.

Dear Jasmine, Ideally, it is good if the house can face good directions of both parties. But as you had mentioned, one person is the `East' house while the other is the `West' house. "Unfortunately" in Feng Shui, there is a consideration: Who is the breadwinner? In traditional Feng Shui, (like almost everywhere in the world); the breadwinner is often assumed as the man of the house. Or the male figure. Even today, we still often consider the male (husband) as the breadwinner unless: the husband is not working or a house-maker. Or if the male's salary is far below that of the female. In the bedroom, even if one partner's sector is not so good, (if possible) the partner wh…

Dear Rose, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, April 28, 1999 5:44 PM Subject: FIVE YELLOWS vs Properity in 8-House A accurate Flying Star chart, should preferably take into account:- 1. The birth chart of the house. 2. Your personal kua number. 3. The exact direction of the main entrance. (in 15 degree increments) Therefore, in my opinion, if something is so general as where it can be applied to everyone without taking into consideration a personalised Flying Star chart as basic as the birth chart of the house and the exact direction of the house, I will not consi…
