Further to what I had mentioned, for the benefit of users, here who do not know what is 9 star ki; In general, 9 star ki was exported to Japan. And from there; it was re-exported especially to Europe and is popular with some UK practitioners. These are some of older links on the differences between 9 star ki and Ba zi & more:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=5276&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=22434&new= Although 9 Star Ki has it's origins from China; it is difficult to mix Traditional Feng Shui with 9 Star Ki. Furthermore, 9 Star Ki is more a mathematical close-to Flyin…

Frankly, determining an industry or job specification is based on a certain mastery of the Five Elements Concept and also Mandarin characters. In some sense, your question is like: why are there only 5 elements: metal, water, wood, fire and earth? This sort of question. Anonymous wrote: Thank you very much for answering my query re career element. May I ask also, what are the characteristics of a metal element career? I understand that a metal career would include finance, entertainment, politics etc...what do they have in common? Thank you once again for sharing your time and expertise. Have a great day !

  7. 1. Especially these few months, don't be surprised with more flooding and tree uprooting! 2. You never know! Even your neighbour's partition could (may) come crashing down due to the heavy monsoon winds! 3. If the winds can bring down the partition once, most likely it can bring it down twice or thrice! If so, I strongly believe the neighbours would give up having such a partition! Pray Hard.. it may just come true! WARNING: ABOUT THIS CARICATURE:IF SUCH A THING REALLY OCCUR; IT IS PURELY CO-INCIDENTAL AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE AT ALL FOR IT.

    1. In general, there are two methods:- 1.1. Based on Traditional Compass School of Feng Shui:- You can browse this link for the various free reports:-http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm The specific report that you should be looking at based on the compass direction is: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-sleep-position.htm 2. The second cateory which is either using intuitive means to locate the best bed position or commonsense Feng Shui :- Itarina L. wrote: What is the best bed position? These are some considerations:- 1. Never save on getting proper expert advise. 2. Usually, you should start from the exterior e.g. imagine how rain falls on the property and how it drains OUT of the home. This can affect the wealth and/or power authority or even range from loss to misfortune if not done properly. Anonymous wrote: Is itok to put the stairs or the toilet/shower areain the north sector? 14. 1. In my opinion, there are other considerations. 2. For example, in this Sample Male person's chart, under "Your Ten Deities & Key Characteristics" Authority (zheng guan) = 4 3. Here, one considerationis that one can compare each partner's Authority (zheng guan). 4. For example, if his partner (wife's) Authority is higherthan his; then in Singapore context we can say that his wife will dominate him: 5. And in such a situation, his wife can be considered as " The Minister of Finance and Defence at home".Andthe man? His position in the home is akin to a "Minister without portfolio". 6. 15. Wow I'm glad Kevin has added on to my thread, I'm learning a lot more. So even if the verdict is that it's a lesser devil to place the main door at S1, there's is no harm to have a water feature on SW to activate the indirect spirit right? My reason is - if calamity is going to fall on you anyway, you might aswell have somefinancial luck to cushion the bad luck coming. What do you think Master? Regards.

There is one commonsense concept which Shapes and Forms Feng Shui considers critical: "Bright Hall" or "Ming Tang". This simply means that if possible the area around the entrance (or facing direction) should have "clear unblocked space". This simply means that there is some lighting best would be natural lighting at the front area. Another purpose is to allow qi to collect within the area. Even if there are steps leading down but based on the vague info, you did mentioned that there is something like 2 metre space = which I attribute to some form of a "bright hall". Which is acceptable. Not the best, but may be acceptable. Contrast this to some old buildings where the…

  21. You cannot simply use Feng Shui for every excuse! For example; it is lame for a barber to say " after cutting your hair, you will have better Feng Shui". What BULL! (bullshit)... Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Cutting hair and feeling comfortable or feel good has more to do with one's self - man luck or human luck feel good factors.

  22. Logically, if it is a "new" as in brand new home; there is no issue with construction be it good or bad sectors. Thus if you really mean NEW; then a newly built home from scratch is a very common thing: For example, someone booked a terrace home and it is under construction and have not even moved in yet. Is this is a case of over-reacting? Move-in procedures can be found under this url: http://info.geomancy.net and the usual practise of selecting a good date to move-in. For the Chinese, they don't really like to move in on the lunar 6th month; 7th month and the month of the Qing Ming also. And one's table is facing this sunlight. 1.2 Many people feel uncomfortable sitting with one's backtowards an opening e.g.the door or, doorof an attached toilet or a window. 1.3 Avoid working at a "dead corner" or a location that there is no air-flow especially if one does not turn on the fan or air-con. 1.4 Avoid seating next to or sharing the same wall as the stove or the toilet bowl wall - if possible. 2. Yes, this is a pretty common senairo for many apartments. Anonymous wrote: Hi there, I have the same issue where the front door is directly aligned with the back sliding door but my property is a condo and will be too small to put up a screen or partition; is there anything else that can be done? Perhaps with the use of crystals? Thank you! Often, these are the common senarios:- 1. Often, we can draw "down" the curtain. And the curtain can act as a partial screen. 2. If it is a sliding door, then, slide the fixed panel towards the side directly facing the main door. 3. If we have a tall cabinet e.g. a tall tv cabinet. This is a plus point.

If one does not want to apply or has no means to apply say the Flying Star Feng Shui: "Can I place a water feature at location marked as X?". Then have to go by Trial and Error Type of Feng Shui. The most logical choice is to apply the concept, that I had coined many years back called " The Customer Service Engineer " Effect. This concept credits the way IBM Customer Service Engineer trouble-shoots "problems". Check out this "ancient" link and the term "Customer Service Engineer" .... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=2736&new=
