Source & Credit: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sgseen/this_urban_jungle/1023454/chinese_38yearold_virgin_seeks_husband.html 38-year-old Chinese virgin Tu Shiyou's is keen to marry you -- so long as you have a Master's degree, are a virgin yourself, have a respectable job as a public servant, and agree to no sex for three years. The outspoken single woman is founder of Preserve Virginity, a website dedicated to promoting virginity before marriage in China. Her list of six qualities for an ideal husband had been drawn up for an ad that she had later posted online, drawing flak from Chinese netizens. Some have also dismissed her ad as a publicity stunt. Her ad…

This new model Jaguar spots a rather unusual figurine on the dashboard. It should be most likely for "protection". There is Saint Christopher, this is most likely a GOD or deity of Chinese transportation... DId you see the figurine in GREEN? A green "genie" of sorts? Some of the photos were taken on different days. The photos with the TWO mandarin oranges was taken during Chinese New Year. Mandarin Oranges x 2 represents gold. And the two mandarin oranges were exchanged during Chinese New Year...

    1. Look at it this way: all of us one day will perish: "ashes to ashes; dusts to dusts". 2. Thus in general; the majority of has to one day die of old age. If so, there ain't no worries about things that a "dead" persons; furthermore; one's own flesh and blood living us things. 3. Of course, there are many instances for some; a loved one dying of old age in a home. And looking at it: left the home to their loved ones.. 4. For natural dead; and later cremation; cremation is neutral. And like many of us; do keep our late father's funeral photo (frame). Here, we keep it with respect in a proper cupboard and not "chuck" it away. 5. Besides this; the other factor is based on…

    1. If you are strictly thinking of it in modern times: look at it this way: the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty abdicated his throne in 1911. 2. Nowadays; where got "Emperors". 3. Of course, in the past; any artists or artisan/craftsman that produce anything with the Five claw is taboo.. unless for official reasons. 4. Today, again in modern times; there will be those who no longer are scared of emperors and dare to produce 4 or 5 claw dragons... 5. So what is stopping these people from the "Feng Shui emporium" sellers to sell such things. 6. Look at it this way: If there are ready buyers (like yourself); there are also ready sellers. 7. It takes TWO hands to clap! Of c…

Hi master, I recently bought a house. The house is sitting on the North East and Facing south west. The garden and living room are faing south west. however the main door entry is on the North East not south west. On the south west part of the house is much lower than the North East. Therefore the house has a good back support with North East mountain. Because the main road is sit on the North East, therefor the main door entry is on the North East. After entrying the main door there are 2 star case one goes up to the 2nd floor and 3 floor, and one is going down to the kitchen and living room. There is a bright hall after entering the house and the main door is not faci…

  11. An interest article. In Singapore where the vast majority are Chinese, many hindus (Indians) also have the opinion that dark colours e.g. black is considered inauspicious. In fact on the contrary, for the Hindus, black is a favourable colour; just that many are not aware of it. And perhaps, assume that just because the Chinese associate black with "death" or "gloom"; they chose to do the same...

    1. To the Cantonese (dialect group) of the Chinese, the number 4 sounds like "death" in Cantonese. And anything with 4 or double 4 or even triple 4 is considered inauspicious. 2. Thus, this is not Feng Shui; but rather, the phonetic sound like "death". And homes or apartments that have this number would be considered as inauspicious thus may affect the future re-sale value of this apartment.

  17. Started by Cecil Lee,

Question: My dad has just passed away. I don't want to wait 1 year or 3 years (depending on individual family practises), later to get married. What is the earliest date to get married? Answer: If you want to continue with a waiting period of less than 1 year, than the wedding has to held within 100 days of the passing. Once 100 days has past, you must wait at least 1 year or more which is usually the mourning period. The duration(ie 1 year or 3 years) of the passing of a parentdepends on the individual family or clantraditional practice. Some families insist that the marriage cannot be held within 3 years of the passing of a parent. While others feel 1 or 2 years is ad…

  18. I agree with Mr. Lee. These days, unscrupulous people, including fengshui practitioners, want you to believe that certain objects are imbued with mystical powers that can help you get rich. Some even claim that they have empowered them through some rituals. In Buddhism, this is called false words('wang yu'),and do incur karmic consequences.

    1. Given the limited space in your dorm, it is still acceptable. 2. If u feel uncomfortable, try to close the bathroom door when not in use. 3. The major concern is to avoid legs facing the bedroom door.

  20. 1. Before, I go into your question; there are also two "types" of Feng Shui. If we can generalise; there is the "White" Feng Shui and "Black" Feng Shui. 2. In Singapore, look at the area especially bordering Beach Road to Shenton Way; "Black" Feng Shui actually refers to buildings that try to "suck" wealth from neighbouring buildings. For example, The Gateway isa major concern as till today, there are lots of reports of hauntings especially "triangle" units or points in this building. 3. In the past, and even in the future or near future, some developers engage overseas Feng Shui practitioners, and these practitioners study that "current" period's landscape and advise …

    1. In my opinion, scientifically, so long as the "disease" is not contagious - spread thru air, then frankly, there is no scientific basis other than what you had mentioned based more on a "taboo". 2. It makes more sense to say to that it would be most likely the concern that such impressions or a sudden situation e.g. someone having a heart problem or in some cases, some people "foam thru their" mouth prior to death. 3. Thus, we do not inadvertenly want to "scar" someone so young with such "a horrible" - painful situation endured by others. 4. stand by dentures all these are merely "old folk" theories, that's all. 1. As mentioned previously, there is no perfect home. 2. The only way to maximize is : 2.1 If literally, "there is a brick wall blocking us, no matter how hard we bang our head against this wall, this wall will not collapse." 2.2 For certain issues or concerns and if we cannot change our environment; we may have to maximize beneifits from elsewhere. For example, fix other leaks in the home. 2.3 The common problem with many people is that instead of fixing this orOTHER leaks, they may be swayed into believing to purchase lots of products - which benefit mostly the seller. 3. Thus, inpast messages, I feel that we should try to maximize our total score much like taki…

  24. Dear Anon, So far, so long as the specific site has properly converted mother's western date of birth to lunar calendar, you can then use it to "predict" a baby's gender. However, there is a question mark - personally have not fully reviewed the accuracy of the model as to whether there is a need to further fine-tune your date and time of birth towards Beijing time or not. In such a situation; could result in either baby being considered as a boy or girl. Thus the two major considerations are: 1. Convertmother's date of birth to lunar. 2. Have to guess whether or not to fine-tuneone's date of birth. If so, again there are so many variations. As it is not so simple…

Generally, railways can pretty much be a sha qi depending on how the track cuts into the house. Even if it does not cut into the house, the common sense approach is that trains tend to be noisy. So noise is also another form of sha qi. So either way, if a railway track is too closed, then yes it isn't that ideal. Especially if yo…
