Hi! The unit that we are eyeing for transfer is located at the Ground Floor of a condominium building. It is the first unit of the building and it's supposed garden/courtyard is facing the road of the village and the unit is lower than the level of the road. Is there anything we need to consider when we transfer? Our target dates would be between Oct 28-30, 2005. Thanks!

Question: My dad has just passed away. I don't want to wait 1 year or 3 years (depending on individual family practises), later to get married. What is the earliest date to get married? Answer: If you want to continue with a waiting period of less than 1 year, than the wedding has to held within 100 days of the passing. Once 100 days has past, you must wait at least 1 year or more which is usually the mourning period. The duration(ie 1 year or 3 years) of the passing of a parentdepends on the individual family or clantraditional practice. Some families insist that the marriage cannot be held within 3 years of the passing of a parent. While others feel 1 or 2 years is ad…

    1. To the Cantonese (dialect group) of the Chinese, the number 4 sounds like "death" in Cantonese. And anything with 4 or double 4 or even triple 4 is considered inauspicious. 2. Thus, this is not Feng Shui; but rather, the phonetic sound like "death". And homes or apartments that have this number would be considered as inauspicious thus may affect the future re-sale value of this apartment.

  6. An interest article. In Singapore where the vast majority are Chinese, many hindus (Indians) also have the opinion that dark colours e.g. black is considered inauspicious. In fact on the contrary, for the Hindus, black is a favourable colour; just that many are not aware of it. And perhaps, assume that just because the Chinese associate black with "death" or "gloom"; they chose to do the same...

Hi master, I recently bought a house. The house is sitting on the North East and Facing south west. The garden and living room are faing south west. however the main door entry is on the North East not south west. On the south west part of the house is much lower than the North East. Therefore the house has a good back support with North East mountain. Because the main road is sit on the North East, therefor the main door entry is on the North East. After entrying the main door there are 2 star case one goes up to the 2nd floor and 3 floor, and one is going down to the kitchen and living room. There is a bright hall after entering the house and the main door is not faci…

This new model Jaguar spots a rather unusual figurine on the dashboard. It should be most likely for "protection". There is Saint Christopher, this is most likely a GOD or deity of Chinese transportation... DId you see the figurine in GREEN? A green "genie" of sorts?
