    Started by Guest,

Dear Carrie, Please read below:- So in your case, it can be said that your door is a North door, which means a North house. Then, all you need to do is divide the house into an 8 pie of (45 degree angle) each to assess your home with the Eight House Theory. If you have the time, you can view the compass method at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Toni, Please read below:- I believe I have answered this portion in an eariler mail. Remember that it every element is important in creating a balance. Once you have that it will assist you as you will gain the two missing deities controlling that element. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  3. Started by pikkie,

Dear Toni, Yes, there will be a course for Pillars of Destiny. Pillars of Destiny in my own opinion is extremely complex and even exceeds the complexity of the Flying Star (which is already pretty complex as it is.) Currently, the reason why there are very little books on this subject is because the original pillars can span easily between 20 volumes of more than 200 pages each targeting specific aspects of the Pillars. So it is not an easy topic to produce a course on. However, we will plan to have a course on it in the later future, possible after we have completed the Flying Star course first. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  4. Started by pikkie,

Dear Toni, Please read below:- It depends on where it is located. Simply:- If located in the Eight Character of Birth, there is very little one can do to change much. It would mean that a person is lightly to be in such a situation where he wants to do something but somehow or rather it backfires or is not very successful. If occurs in the year, that means that for that year he or she is likely to face difficulties. However, this lasts only for the duration of the year. This is a brief explanation. The extend depends upon whether to that person this particular Wu or Chen is beneficial to them or not. All Clashes, Harms, Punishments etc have good and bad clashes, …

  5. Started by elena,

Dear Anon, Please read below:- This is because many people who are practising Feng Shui has mainly learnt only the Flying Star and the Shapes and Forms. And that they feel that the Flying Star is so powerful that you do not need anything else. However, if you understood that the Flying Star is a tool just to analyse the House, you will realise a very important factor which is ignored:- The suitability of the a person to the house. This was one of the reason the Eight House has been used widely to help to cover that link. However, Eight House utilises the Year of birth which is very inaccurate as that would mean that there are only 8 different variation for everyone w…

  6. Dear Jenney, Please read below:- Yes they are actual reference to the actual family relationship. When the element is related to say the Mother, and the element is unfavourable to you, which means some kind of disagreement is likely to occur. This is especially so when it occurs throughout your luck periods. Later on, I will be adding detailed analysis to each member of your family. Hope that helps to clear your query. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  7. Started by Bless,

Dear Bless, Apologise for the late response. Can you provide more details such as what types of clash (which pillar with which, and what is the clash that is found)? Basically, clashes are a little complicated and I need know exactly so that I can advice you further on this. One way to reduce it is to ensure that the suggested binding elements are found between the you and your dad. That will reduce it at least. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  8. Dear Anon, Animal Bones are the explanation derived from the Buddhist Three Lives Theory. It is quite accurate in predicting the characteristics and stars which a person may have. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, "Zi Wei Dou Shu" is called " Chinese Astrology ". For those who are not aware, I have another website at http://www.lovesigns.net which is based on the 12 Chinese Zodiac Signs. You can actually check your Chinese Astrology sign at the above website. In a nutshell, you can broadly classify Chinese Astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu) as the `parallel' with English Astrology where there are 12 symbols e.g. Cancer, Gemini etc... It is therefore not a higher form of pillars but rather based on astrology (another field of Chinese culture). In fact, one cannot say that one form of Chinese practise is higher or lower than the other because one must bear in mind that each Chines…

  10. Welcome to Eight Characters Feng Shui, Feel free to post any queries you have about regarding this topic. To start the discussion going, I am posting a brief introduction of what is Eight Characters Feng Shui. Brief Introduction about Eight Characters Feng shui:- 1. Thus, it is able to provide you with a more accurate direction for your personal facing direction. 3. Unlike Eight House which uses ye…

Being one who grew up in HK, my friend's aunt consults the Tong Shu every year. Last year, the year of the tiger, she advised us =monkey-year people to wear or carry a snake pendant or keychain all the time to =counter the clash between tiger and monkey, so that no harm will befall us. This year, she advised rooster born people to wear a dragon pendant or carry a dragon keychain to cou…

  12. Hi Anon, Sorry as I am pretty busy, I did not do an anlaysis for princess Diana. However, I will still answer you with regards to the information you have posted. There are exceptions that even if you are a strong element, it is still good for you to have the element that produce it. Likely answers are:- 1. Feng Shui is about balance, thus creating a full balance in your entire chart is also important. 2. It may come to a stage for her where there may be excessive Fire and Earth which exhaust her strong wood and destroys her water too much that she becomes extremely weak wood. 3. The circumstances in her situation may require water to balance the situation etc. There are …

  13. Hi Anon, Yes, that is what the binding element is for. Because as you know it is not possible for everything to be perfect. This means that with any two elements, there is only one combination which is a very good combination for the two. The rest will have to depend on some third and external elements to help. Bring the elements together. As far as I know, I have seen many of which have shown that say they are not exactly compatible based on their pillars alone, but due to binding elements which constantly surround them, they have a very smooth and good relationship. This is possible because, the binding elements helps to keep the two elements together. But also out of F…

Dear Jason, This is currently a subjective issue based on the following:- 1. There are many different brands of VDUs. Some brands claim to have very low radiation. The quality of the VDU varies. So it is quite difficult for us the consumer to ` speculate ' on whether it is bad for us in terms of `radiation'. However, as TV sets are around for many years all over the world. For most countries, it is as long as in the 50s etc... and there are no bad effects of them (although we watch TV further away). I guess in terms of the `scientific' arena, it is considered safe. 2. In Feng Shui, there are some Practioners who say that TV sets were not invented in the past so there are …

  17. Dear Cecil, Unfortunately there has always been a "Jerry" on every list I have ever subscribed to. I don't know why people need to be so nasty in public. It is not appreciated here, and I hope he will go away if he feels he has to be attacking someone. Nansi

Hi, Please read below:- No, you cannot. Pillars or any other theories do have their own sets of limitations. You cannot tell from a Pillars whether they will make a good husband or not. In fact I don't think there is any such tools can do so. Pillars can only deduce a person's destiny - meaning tell you what you can expect in your lifes, the element you belong to etc. Knowing this can be very beneficial for you because you can improve your life by making sure you follow your favourable elements. There are some that tells a little bit of characteristics, but for characteristics I find that the Personal Star which uses Chinese Astrology based on a Three Lives theor…

Dear Irene, Please read below:- Hi Robert, It was so ironic that A&E biography channel featured Bill Gates last night. Anyways, it was said that he moved in to his new mega house in late 1997 unless I heard it wrong. Could it be bad fengshui of the house? It sits in the mountain side. The justice dept suit against his monopolization started in early 1998 which happens to be Earth and Tiger year luck. Assuming he is weak water, earth year will not be so good for him. Too bad, they never mentioned the time of his birth last night. :-( Yes, that is a possible aspect. You see Pillars actually maps the Heavenly luck from the date you are born. It is supposed to have …

  22. Hi, Please read below:- It is not right for us to examine someone's future and spreading details about their future unless they expressly permits us. As for analysising past events, these events that we analyse are based on information usually made known to others by their own biography. What we are doing is just like a historian tracing what actually caused the incidents or success in a Feng Shui perspective. But, I think you can get the picture now that Pillars of Destiny unlike Astrology does have its "fascinating" fortune telling abilities which is pretty accurate. I won't say that everything analysed would happen but generally it does appear that way. Especially…

  23. Hi, Sorry, currently I think that I am unable to do that as it would take lots of time. As it is we are already tied up with helping users at the same time making improvements for the site. Maybe, when I get the time, I will add a Zi Wei Dou Shu computerised reports which is what you are looking for. But will come at a much later time. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  24. Dear Boris, Based on your description, placing mortar would most likely not considered " major " as the structure of the house has been completed earlier. If you are doing a Flying Star chart, it is best to prepare two reports and see which is more accurate. Most likely your house fits Period 6 Chart than Period 7.
