VIIO @ Balestier Road's thin profile with it's "base" sits exactly the North-South alignment of Balestier Road. Stacks 03, 04, 05 and 06 most certainly has "pool view". Not it's own pool though but that of Ramada Hotel. This pool is a blessing in disguise; as it allows unobtructed view. Other than stack 03 which looks towards the side of Ramada Hotel. Common sense says that one should avoid direct afternoon sun. With all year round afternoon sun.. there is no where to hide.. for the stacks/units facing West. E2 facing stacks: It is such a waste that the combined auspicious wealth stars are wasted at the "rear" of the ho…

  2. Hi Master, I am looking at Woodleight Hill side. In General, most flat is North-West and North-East facing, except those the is West and East facing? In your opinion, which area is better, and which area is better to avoid. All the flat at the outer circle seems okay, seems like no blockage or sha-qi? I am new here, so can't really decide, need your advice. Thanks.

This massive development should yield some good stacks/units. Since the southern and south-eastern parts face the Serangoon Reservioir. In general good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Description: Sengkang East Drive with Serangoon Reservior with a massive 2,440 units of 2R Flexim 3R, 4R and 5R. Development name has yet to be revealed. Of course, stay clear of stacks/units facing the Tampines Expressway and if can help avoid the stacks/units also facing Sengkang East Drive.

  4. HDB Woodlands Spring BTO launched in May 2017 and the Precinct Pavilion As there is a requirement for a precinct pavilion; very much understand the architect's constrain in placing it. Unfortunately, Block 799B stack 131 seems to have a "front row" seating facing it directly. Sincerely hope that one's festive mood is not damped .. when there is a wake / funeral during one's festive period (mood)... Stack 129, 131 and 111 are also the closest to the precinct pavilion.

Marina One Towers 21 and 23 For me, immediately that comes to mind are two L-shaped boots or a grown-man's moustache. In this illustration, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view, although the largest stack/units = #08 has a nice number. It is unfortunately not the best stack given that it is at the edge of the building. Although it has stunning views, corner stacks which is literally at the edge of the development does not have optimum Shapes and Forms. Surprisingly, other than the whole "working" world may peer into these (Block 21) stacks, stacks like 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 are considered to have better Shapes a…

  9. Sometime around 1976, the government standardised the numbering of homes. Around the British times, a ground floor unit for eg. Is numbered say No. 20. A unit above this is numbered 20A, the 3rd storey is numbered 20B. But the folly of this is if it is a high rise exceeding 20Z, what happens? Before 1976 (thereabouts): a flat address could be Block B, unit 508. But after 1976 onwards this flat is known as Blk B, #06-08. The government added an additional storey: the ground floor unit or for HDB flats with a void deck is added to the count. This is why 508 changed: wh…

Dear Siew Yong, Yes, I agree with you that Geylang has changed alot:) And you are right to say that the Aljunied/Paya Lebar MRT station is near-by to the Sims/Geylang area. Sorry, this is off-topic:- In fact; when corner coffee shop next to Katong Mall closed down; I really missed the very hot and spicy wanton noodle stall at this coffee shop. And a few years ago, I chanced upon this coffee shop, which shares the same link fence with the Aljunied MRT station. (Close to the Koi shop). Although, this wanton noodle stall cannot match the Katong Mall - I find this as an acceptable subsitute:) Overall, no matter how, one can say that I am truly biased with the word…

  11. Credit: The Sunday Times, Singapore 02 April 2017 Another iconic landmark: No. 22 Hillside Drive known as Lakshmi Villa by mid-June 2017 will be torn down as it was expensive to up-keep and maintain this property. Formerly it was jointly built via a joint-venture with Mr Benson Ho, 60, a property developer from Invest-Ho Property to develop this 20,000 square feet property. What was unique to this property is that it has one of the last "clear" wells in Singapore. And the family regards this "clear" water as good luck. In the 1950's most bungalows in Katong area for example were only 10,000 square feet. Thus, this site w…

City Suites formerly Cosmoloft There is often a stigma attached to a home so close to a Hospital. In this case the Communicable Disease Centre & in 2003, SARs epidemic. Common sense and Shapes and Forms are in-concurrence, here. Where the Shapes and Forms is considered poor, here. Often, it may be harder to entice potential buyers in a resale market (not withstanding the re-sale price).

NW3 stacs/units has the auspicious water wealth #8 at it's frontage. Good if the balcony/living room faces a pool of water. Other than this, the rest of the sectors on this home has imbalances. There are only two stacks in this development that are NE1 facing: 39 & 41. 4. NE1 stacks has the auspicious water wealth #8 star at the frontage. Thus, units with water position at the frontage (balcony side) can enjoy good Feng Shui. 4.1 If so, the sum-of-ten can be activated for : Health, wealth and family luck. 4.2 I…

The stacks in this development are either Flying Stars Period 8: N1 & S1 facing. N1 has the auspicious double 8s at it's frontage. Good if the frontage has a water position and clear space. Are you able to see an outline of a knife similar to a parang? The architect has tried to make the homes as rectangular as possible with the exception of two houses: no. 63 and 63J. The overall outline of the perimeter of this development under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui is inauspicious for these three homes: No. 49 and 51 Tai Keng Gardens.
