  1. HDB Bedok Central Blocks: 219A-D, 220A-C, 221A-C Another rare cluster of HDB flats in the Bedok Central mature estate. These flats were built on a vast area of ground level carparks converted into apartment blocks cum car-parks. TOP was sometime late last year: 2008. This plot of land is very close to all the amenties in Bedok Central including supermarkets, markets, swimming pool, MRT line runs along the main road. (One of the picture has the mrt line ...)

The morale of the story is that the rich gets richer, by investing in time and effort to secure (expert) help in finding a good home. The poor as usual, gets into a cycle of poverty: Imagine buying a home equivalent to a ten year old car. No matter how much effort is done (later) to improve their home, the Feng Shui of the home cannot turn it into a "gem" of a car! If one bought a run-down toyota, how to turn it into a lovely 7 series BMW? Again, it is like a family of 8 buying a home equivalent of a small Chinese cherry car! How to fit 8 persons in the car! No way! Have to purchase a car the equivalent of an MPV!

    1. Ideally, in Feng Shui, it is best not to have blue-roof for buildings. 2. As a blue roof in the I-ching represents difficulties. Thus it is best not to have a blue roof i.e. nice-not-to have instead of must-not-have situation.

  6. 1. Waterfront waves is a new uncompleted development located at 760 to 782 Bedok Reservoir Road. 2. The estimated completion date is two years away in 2011. 3. This development belongs to Period 8:- 3.1 Excellent units especially for East Group persons are stacks: 03 and 04 (light blue) 3.2 In general, stacks 17 to 24 (in pink) has good qi frontage of approximately 60 degrees or NE3 facing direction. And correspondingly, stacks 15, 16 and 21, 22and 25 have stacks facing SW3. Equally good facing directions especially for the West Group. (Other than the consideration of the dreaded afternoon sun). 4. Stacks 01, 02, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13 and 14 (bright yellow…

This is a tiny condo development with a total of 34 units. Tenure left is 947 years to go. Estimated completion date is in mid 2011. It's a very uncommon "V" shaped layout plan. Flying star is a Period8 development. The main block with stacks 06& 07 facing NW. While stacks 08& 09 facing SE. And a smaller block with stacks 01 & 02 West 2 facing. And stacks 3 & 4 East 2 facing. I brought out this site as another example where we have to be careful of the "porcupines" i.e. sharp corners aimed at the individual units. Please refer to attachment: In this example, the most distinct poison arrow is the purple marking "D" where the sharp corner of stack 0…

If you are an architect or developer; please take note of this illustration. The architect of this small development of landed properties have cleverly made sure that none of the landed properties within this estate is affected by a home at the "T" junction. Please see attachment: circled in red. Instead of squeezing one or two more homes between this empty space, they have thus avoided what would have been a home facing a "T" Junction. An excellent way to over-come a home at a "T" Junction! Architects should learn from this Far East development.

  9. Marina Collection is curently under construction in Sentosa island. It is a low rise of 4 storeys of luxury waterfront residences. There will be about 194 units ranging from 1700sqft to 2000sqft in size. Tenure is 99 years. Basedon Shapes andForms Feng Shui; a top-down (helicopter)showsaprofile that looks like an Indian warrior's axe. Please see attachment. Can yousee an image (in thick red outline) of an axe? With the handle at the bottom and thecurved axe shape?Iwon't want to be caught being a neighour as highlighted in purple "inauspicious"piece of land!

  10. Eastpoint Green was completed in 1998 with a total of 684 units. It was developed by Nissho Iwai Corporation & Far East Organisation. Tenure of 99 years. Types of Units: Studio: 84 - 94 sq m 2 bedrooms: 89 - 121 sq m 3 bedrooms: 104 - 144 sq m 4 bedrooms: 175 - 195 sq m Penthouse: 215 sq m Eastpoint Green is directly opposite the Changi General Hospital. It is also within walking distance ofSimei MRT Station and Eastpoint Shopping Mall. Although the blocks "flow" with the site based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; but one of the major dislikes is that all the stacks (units) are in the shape of a "butterfly." Under symbolism in Feng Shui; a butterfly has a …

  11. 1. The Petals is one of the sites with good effort on Shapes & Forms Feng Shui. The six blocks are harmoniously blended into not exactly a triangle site. 2. It looks modern yet, its profile looks like the side of an olive or even a rugby ball. Each of the 6 blockssuppose to looklike petals ofthe flower.. that is how the condo was named after. 3. One of the most friendly designs. If one looks at each block closely in relation to the other 5 blocks (total of 6 blocks); there are no sha qi or poison arrows aimed at one another. 4. Another advantage of this type of blocks is that qi can flow easily between all the blocks without creating unnecessary "distrubed wind …

    1. Under the current period: 8 (2004 to 2023); the areas to look out for in Singapore would be the NE corridor of Punggol / Seletar area. 2. Another area is already evident is in the SW sector Singapore. Go down to Boon Lay and one can see that this is the busiest sub-urban place-to-be in Singapore. 3. In the next 10 years or so, the NE corridor would gradually also see much activities. NE would be seen as more of a "physical" recreational activity hub... while the SW more of a "work cum window shopping" kinda-of a place. 4. It does not mean that the whole population has to move to NE or SW - goodness me! Nowadays with easy transportation: MRT and many own cars; it …

Generally, this is not auspicious. See photo: Shapesnforms4.jpg 4. The home is an acute triangle shape. Hmm.... not the best of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui....

Last weekend, a previous client of mine called that he is house hunting as he needs a larger home. Furthermore, his current home has lots of staircases even to the "guest room" where is mother-in-law is staying. He chanced upon an "open house" for no. 1 Parry View which is on sale for whatever reasons. From the streetdirectory map: No. 1 Parry View: does not seem to have very good Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Take alook at the home at the "bottom" of the Y. Feng Shui can still help to redress some of the issues. But this is already a major leak: Location, location, location - ain't good! Based on Shapes and Forms; this home is situated at the "bottom" of the "V" of t…

This condo, nestled on a tranquil and serene site at Aracdia Road - off Adam Road was unsuccessful in topping up the lease to 99 years. As in Singapore, when a development reaches 60 years or less of lease; it is difficult for potential buyers to seek loans and this leads to plummeting price for the development. This is an extract: Source: The Sunday Times April 10, 2011 INSPIRED BY THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON Arcadia belongs to the old generation of private condominiums in Singapore which began to appear in the late 1970s. It was designed by local architect Chua Ka Seng, the design consultant who also left his mark on Shangri-la Hotel's garden wing. Arcadia wa…

  21. 1. This is a rare sight nowadays; as many of the fire escape staircases are tucked away without good views. 2. Nowadays, such "valuable" estate is taken over by corner units of apartments. 2. The picture shows a block 491, Admiralty Link. 3. This type of staircase (reminds me) was formerly found on one of the earliest Singapore slab flats and also on the old Singapore Orchid $1 notes. 4. The only difference is that the cluster of flats around Admiarlity Link such as Block 491; are much, much taller than the "concrete slab look" this is why it is commonly called a "slab"- rectanguarlish flats: popularof the governments public housing in the 1960's: consisting usually of o…

As always, the key success factor is : THE FORMS DETERMINE THE STARS, THE STARS DETERMINE THE FATE OF THE PEOPLE LIVING IN A HOME. A worked example of the combination of the application of both FORMS (Shapes and Forms) and Stars (Flying Star facing direction analysis)... Nowadays, this is the trend of the smart.... A thorough analysis includes many things: 1. Afternoon sun consideration 2. Pavilions where wakes (for the dead) are held 3. Any poison arrows (Sha qi) in the form of lamp posts; sharp edges of neighbouring blocks 4. Flying Star facing directions of each of the potential stacks or units 5. White Pollution from road noise, bus stops etc... 6. Potential missing c…

Nowadays, as you can see, many people approach Feng Shui, even before they select their flats. This is a smart choice and this is an uprising trend especially from 3 years ago. The most efficient method is, in my opinion, for a Geomancer to use a BLANK canvas such as the entire sitemap and start "painting" information onto the sitemap. Seriously, if you take a glance at the attachment... it takes many hours to plot the facing direction of each individual stacks, analyse and work out comments.... But don't you think it is worth it? At a glance, especially at a time critical situation, where your turn comes, someone else sitting at the next booth is also selecting a flat; y…

The uncompleted Blocks 308 and 310 Punggol. From a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; the stacks are cemented together in some kind of a broken hex type of design. Highly unusual. But from a first view; many stacks because they are "glued together" can be generally considered as "not favourable external shapes and forms due to perhaps, how qi is going to circulate properly within many stacks. As there is a waterway running between Block 308 under Waterway Ter I and Block 310 Waterway Ter II; the architects have opened up the hex at locations facing the waterway from both blocks. Truly, a highly unusual design. Very uncommon design. For such a development; more likely; depending …
