Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by myfs_121461,

Dear Anon, In general, you have mentioned that your interior of your apartment has been changed to a Period 8 apartment. But your exterior is still considered a Period 7 block. Ideally, of course that the exterior of the building gets a good new coat of paint. And often, many blocks should have been painted by the 5th or 6th or at least the 7th year that it is in. If so, there is no issue since your home (block and apartment) have at least a new coat of paint). The other senario is to do a proper Flying Star chart. As flying star chart looks at the frontage: it is good that also often, the home should not be stuffy and if possible, the whole home should be well venti…

Dear Sophia, The Flying Star concept is very simple: 1. water stars, as the name suggests should be activated in clear space environment. While 2. mountain stars, is best activated in an enclosed environment or "blocked" by a mountain. However, when we talk of the above, we are "anticipating" or have a view that what we are trying to activate are good stars like for water stars: #1 and #8. While for mountain stars e.g. #8 and / or #9 etc... Therefore, for "bad stars" like #5 and #2; it will make sense to say that: bad water stars should be "locked" up while bad mountain stars should be open space or literally placed in a "hole" to drown it! Thus, what you had menti…

Dear Violet, Use this as a Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm For example: Ifa person is a Strong Metal, person. Then in terms ofelements, being strong metal, need: 1. Water to help draw out or reduce her Strong Metal element. 2. When water is increased, need wood to draw it out. 3. When wood is also increased, need fire to reduce it. Thus under the productive sequence: For a Strong element person, look at the Productive cycle chart and move forward 3 elements: Thus as mentioned above, if one is a Strong Metal, look forward three elements: Water, Wood and Fire are favourable to the Strong Metal person. The Destructive Cycle Act…

Dear Carolyn, In general, it is acceptable to place a water feature where there is a water star #8 (current prosperity) sector. Even if we want to place a water feature, it should also "look appropriate" at a location that is "functional" and not obstrusive to the interior decor. Without a picture or sketch, really cannot imagine the layout thus it can be on the right corner or within the sector - that's OK. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Should it be on the right corner of that affected sector, or anywhere inside that sector?

DearJian Rong, It may not necessarily be true that all Period 7 homes should be converted to Period 8 to enjoy better qi. For example, if your home is a North 1 (337.5 to 352.4 degrees or 345 degrees, home; You have to study your layout before committing to changing to Period 8. For example, lets say your bedroom happens to be at the North-West sector of the home. Under Period 7; NW:- MS1 WS4 B8 = Auspicious stars in particular #1 = future prosperity with #8 current prosperity. Mountain star can be activated for relationship, family luck and networking luck But under Period 8; NW:- MS4 WS3 B9 = Relationship issues: quarrels and lawsuits. Overall stress for both hu…

  8. A million thanks. One final question. One of the well-known masters in HK mentioned that, in order to move from period 7 to period 8, the following applies:- 1. For house/ apartment / flat - Find an austpicious date and change the kicthen's cooktop (in cantonese - "Lou") It will be as good as moving buildingto Period 8. 2. For office - Just find an auspicious date and "mount" the company's logoagainst the wall again. Both ways will move the building from period 7 to peiod 8. The master that I mentioned had recently renovated his house BUT would like to maintain it in period 7 (coz it's good feng shui) and hence, he did everything to his house except the kitchen…

Eight House is about how suitable you are the house. Though, it is good to go for the best house luck facing for the period, but if the house is unsuitable to you then you will not be able to get the maximum amount of luck from the house. Most importantly, you should avoid getting a house that is not Death or Disaster at least. So it is good to get the best house luck, but you should make sure that it does not fall under the Death or Disaster. This I would believe would be the …

Dear Fanny, Your house is "Sum to Ten" house, the Mountain star combines with Base star equals to ten. This type of chart creates auspicious health, relationships and fertility. In your facing Palace, there is a Mountain star 5 which is untimely star for Period 8, hence you cannot use Yang water to activate Water star 8. Yin water is preferred in this Palace. Moreover, the excessive Earth elements in facing Palace control Water. There are excessive Earth elements in your facing Palace, use big Metal to exhaust the Earth elements. Hope this information helps you. Thank you. Best regards always, David

  13. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What do you mean "Triple combination fulfills the solution" ? I hope you can enlighten me on this special requirement. Simply means that the 3 elements form a compatible element flow to control or stop the inauspicious star. ie star 2 and 5, will form a triple combination if the 3rd star is say Star 6. where star 6 helps to exhaust/control the star 2/5. 14. Dear Cecil, According to the text in the book I had read, we need proper forms to activate timely stars for the following special Flying Star charts : 1.Sum to Ten chart. 2. Parent String chart. 3. Pearl String Chart. I know for Sum to Ten and Parent String special charts, the building must be a complete square or rectangle; missing corners are not allowed for these special charts. Beside the aforesaid proper forms, what are other proper forms required toactivate timely starsfor these special charts. Please check and advise. Your great help will be appreciated. I want to learn Flying Star Feng Shui from you. Thank you. Best regards always, David

Dear SF Choe, Quote: Renovations included relocating 3 toilets/bathrooms, tearing down and creating some walls in all 3 floors, and extended tha back of house further by 5ft (2 storeys high and additional new 5ft roof added). Completely newly replaced were water piping, all the flooring, ceiling and electrical wiring. All in, I would say about 80% of the house was renovated. In general, the tearing down and creation of walls is as good as a major renovation as the Qi flow within the house is affected. As such the house will be deemed as a Period 8 house. Hope that helps.
