    Dear Elena, You brought up an interesting question. 1. Usually, one major influence is also the exterior of the house. 2. A major renovation does change the birth chart of the house. 3. In order to change the birth chart of the house, one has to understand that it has to be an `old' house. For example, Period 7 is between Chinese New Year 1984 to 2003.     Dear Elena, Sorry for the delay in response. The Flying Star Theory is quite similar with the Eight House in it's application. Both provides sector by sector analysis. If one sector has the Romance Luck, it does not mean that the entire house is `filled' with "romance". The influence is only at that sector. For the main door, if one has Double 7's it means that in general the house is an auspicious house. The main door is considered a vital analysis. However, in some debate, it is stated that for period 5 which is a center Gua or not one of the eight directions it should be replaced by another trigram of from one of the official Eight Trigrams.     Dear Jojo, You should not activate or solve the #5 simply because it falls in that sector by using a wind chime. You have to look at the overall interaction of the #5 in relation to the 20-year sector. Usually, if you have cured or solve any problems with the 20-year itself, it should be quite safe for you, as they additional yearly star should not cause that much of a problem. If the space is not available or is a missing corner, one cannot or infact does not have an opportunity to place say a `cure' at this non-existing location. It is again, not possible to do remote control Feng Shui where placement of the `cure' at a nearby location `would' solve it. The `nearby' location has its own Feng Shui influence and it would not be wise to use a cure for a different location. Worse still if it is based on Black Hat Sect or BTB for short. `Fixed' template practises give a `bad' name to Feng Shui. More often, it gives false hope and will not work for most people. We would love to calculate if there is such a thing as the Yearly or Monthly `mountain' or `water' stars but there isn't any of these stars to calculate for the year. Most importantly, even with heavy snow, it is unlike another building blocking the frontage of the condominium. So long at most of the year, it provides a clear frontage, it is acceptable.   23. Dear Anon, Actually, there are 8 sectors + the centre sector = Nine sectors. This represents the 9 Grids or the Flying Stars with base numbers of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Here, it is the movement of these 9 numbers within each period where Flying Star `handles'. One should thus not be confused with the 24 mountains or (mountains = directions) where one must find the direction of the door first. Have you confirmed that there is indeed a water or mountain star. As these cannot suddenly `popup' from any sector. They have to be identified and at the sector. 4.
