Dear Wei Li, Actually, this year, Grand Duke is suppose to be in the North-West. While north is the 3 killings. What is more important is that Grand Duke is in NW and not North, thus, there is no clash with Grand Duke, this year for the study table at the North. The 3 killings north is that one should not do renovations, this year and does not affect the placement of work station, there. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lim Wei Li Lim Wei Li wrote: You have done reading for us before. However, I am confused of this. I was reading the materials you gave us. Dear SF Choe, sf choe wrote: Thank you very much, Robert, for confirming Period 8 for my house. Based on that, I had done the Flying Stars Chart and came up with 5m 5t 8w at SW sector. What does this mean because I got frightened seeing the double 5 there. My house is facing SW1 but my main door is tilted in the West Sector facing SW3 (235 degrees). Also,my Centre Palace has the star combo 2m 8t 5w, again I got scared seeing the 2-5 combo! Normally, if there is star 5's and star 2's occur on the same sector. It will spell trouble. But in your case, it is a period 8 house, so the star 2 and star 5 when paired with a star 8, will actually be good for the star 8 as it will n…

Dear SF Choe, Quote: Renovations included relocating 3 toilets/bathrooms, tearing down and creating some walls in all 3 floors, and extended tha back of house further by 5ft (2 storeys high and additional new 5ft roof added). Completely newly replaced were water piping, all the flooring, ceiling and electrical wiring. All in, I would say about 80% of the house was renovated. In general, the tearing down and creation of walls is as good as a major renovation as the Qi flow within the house is affected. As such the house will be deemed as a Period 8 house. Hope that helps. Dear CindyLu, CindyLu Who wrote: In your experience, have you ever had the need to use 2 flying star charts? If year of construction of house is known, but several renovations have been made to the house but those years are unknown, would you use more than one chart? And how would you compare the 2 charts to enable you to make decisions? In such cases, we have to determine which chart will fall closest to the current influence of the house. Usually, we try to determine what has been done, because if there are hacking/addition/removal of house structure, generally, it is clear cut sign of a change in period. If not, then we just have to assess two charts, see which has ev…

Dear Fanny, Your house is "Sum to Ten" house, the Mountain star combines with Base star equals to ten. This type of chart creates auspicious health, relationships and fertility. In your facing Palace, there is a Mountain star 5 which is untimely star for Period 8, hence you cannot use Yang water to activate Water star 8. Yin water is preferred in this Palace. Moreover, the excessive Earth elements in facing Palace control Water. There are excessive Earth elements in your facing Palace, use big Metal to exhaust the Earth elements. Hope this information helps you. Thank you. Best regards always, David

Hi Master Lee, I'm just trying to reason basedupon your free tools, discussions in the forum and also some other references without having any legitimate training what-so-ever. Hope these are not beyond the free advice boundary My house is a period-7 house facing E3. On the west sector the combination is BS 9 MS 7 WS 3. My reasoning are as follows: 1. MS vs WS:Metal destroys Wood - Here comes the questions: 1. Supposing the 2nd equation is correct, I figured that Fire is a better cure compared to Water. Is it all true? 2. From your suggestion is several postings regarding activation of MS, you suggested hanging an object on the wall, also using a bronze…

Dear Asher, Anonymous wrote: My husband and I belong to the East Group but I read that the North-East and South-West facing houses are very good in the Period 8. In this case, should we look for a house based on the Eight Mansions or can we choose one that faces the North-East or South-West too? Thanks! Ideally, it would be good to have both the Flying Star Feng Shui (ie North-East/South-West) and your Eight House suitable ie (Prosperity, Excellent etc). However, for most people sometimes the flying star feng shui may be good but it does not suit them ie (death or disaster), then looking for a more suitable home with less flying star feng shui would be better. Dear Feng Shui Master, I would like to seek your advice on how to activate the water star#8 and mountain star #8 as well as the universal SE wealth sector. As you see I have divided my HDB flat floor plan into 9 equal square and I can see that the mountain star#8 is located at my master bedroom toilet with a small portion of the master bedroom. The water star #8 is located atthe common toilet and service balcony with a small portion of the master bedroom. The kitchen and storeroom is located at the SE sector. It seems that I'm unable to activate all these 3 area. The flat I'm staying is a period 7 flat and my kua number is 6 while my wife kua number is 4. Appreciate you…

Hi there, You mention that if there is a slope behind the house then the facing direction is the opposite. What if the slope is actually the view and the house has been built to take advantage of this placing all it's living areas facing the view? Thanks

The rest of the room location seemsOK under the Eight House. What can you advise me? Hi, I am a student in your flying star course. In Unit 8: How etermine the Direction of the Main Entrance Door, you introduce a method which is to determine the direction based on from the center of the house. I think it makes sense. But somehow I remember you also mentioned in one forum that for landed house, the main entrance door direction is the direction the house facing, regardless of which place (according to the center of the house) the main entrance door located. I might remember wrong. But in case it's true, could you please provide the rationale of determining the direction this way? example: House is single family house on private land. Main entrance door …

Dear Lionel, Quote: I was told that I should increase the ?water? for the sector 7,9 (3). I also understand that a mountain painting is always encouraged to be placed behind our seat to act as a ?support?. However, doesn?t a mountain symbolize the ?earth? which is not encouraged for the sector 7,9 (3)? To encourage water in that sector, you can consider having the room painted light blue. That will add water to the room. As for the picture, mountain picture is always nice. Anyway, if based on the 7 (Metal), 9 (Fire), 3 (Wood), adding Water and mountain painting will create a harmonious environment. ie Metal -

Hi Anon, We get lots of such postings every other day. I must say it can sometimes be difficult to help each an everyone personally. Each home is unique and unless a full review is done to identify what's going on, it can be anyone's guess what are the leaks in the home that is causing your problem. Without knowing what is the leaks involved it is anyone's guess what you need to do to correct it. It is easy to say try to do this and that, but unforunately that is not how true feng shui works. You need to know what is the problem before you can correct it. That is why most general advise that tells you that south-west is romance sector so you must place 99 roses to get …

Really depends on the house, how high or steep is the mountain. How is the surrounding etc. It does not automatically mean it is not good.
