Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Is my Period 8 house still lucky from 2024 till 2043? Period 8 W2 & W3 Less lucky under Period 9 but depends on where is the living room. 1. Under Period 8, there is a double auspicious #8's at it's frontage. Thus auspicious under this period. 1.1. After 2024 onwards, considered less lucky given that the double #8's will then become past prosperity or gone prosperity wealth luck. 2. Good if the living room is located at NW to take advantage of the WS#9, here. 3. Good also if the front door happens to be located at NE. Given that there is a MS#9 (networking and relationship luck, here.) TEMPLATE +++ …

Dear Anon, A house built in 1985 is considered a `Period 7' house and thus it's birth-chart has the characteristics of a Period 7 house but based on the direction of main entrance door specific for Period 7. In my opinion, and from many past experience, sloping ceiling although is not ideal, is not necessarily the `most inauspicious'. For example, it would be worst if one sits just below a ceiling beam. A `full house' or a house that is on it's own i.e. landed property may not necessarily need to be either a square or rectangular. For example, do look at this url: http://www.geomancy.net/events/CDL_FS_Talk/talk_1_slide_2.htm In the above picture, the house on the top has …

  3. We know, everyone is so eager to jump in and practise Feng Shui. In particular, you must likely have generated a Flying star chart from somewhere. Honestly, for any new thing or subject.. you really have to "study" and understand them. Frankly, it is so easy to post a few lines to text.. but this Flying star thing, or knowledge does not and cannot drop down from the sky. If you intend to DIY, you really need to go learn it. or read up about it.. and this may take time. Reading is one thing, but understanding and applying it... is really another. Please note that this forum is only a catalyst and not a we do it for you nor spoon feeding .... Just imagine.. for a baby, h…

Dear Jo, The key thing to remember about the Eight House Theory is that the more one spents time at a good sector the better. Even if the sector is a good sector but, one does not spent time at, thus, it does `not apply' i.e. there is no beneifical effect on a person. Under the Flying Star Theory, most importantly, although it is your loss or legal problems area, you have to check the elements at that sector e.g. the mountain / water star and the base number to see if there are any imbalances. If there are imbalances, one has to cure it. Once this is done, in general we have balanced that sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Eight House is about how suitable you are the house. Though, it is good to go for the best house luck facing for the period, but if the house is unsuitable to you then you will not be able to get the maximum amount of luck from the house. Most importantly, you should avoid getting a house that is not Death or Disaster at least. So it is good to get the best house luck, but you should make sure that it does not fall under the Death or Disaster. This I would believe would be the …

Dear Cecil Thanks for your reply. Correct me if I wrong. If the sector has very good flying stars but it not my best sector or bad sector in 8 mansion, I shouldnt spend time there. And if in my best sector there are bad stars, is it right say to cure it and can spend time there. As to my second question earlier about the flying stars in the west and NW sector, I only need a general advise as to which sector to place my main door. Thanks Alan --- flying-star Listmanager wrote:

Dear Anon, 1. There may be some differences in the way various Feng Shui practitioners carry out their audit. I will not touch on these differences. But rather, mentioned, how, I would go about doing a Feng Shui audit:- 2. For me, I would use chiefly the following 'Schools' of Feng Shui and Ba Zi:- 2.1 Use of Ba Zi (Pillars of Destiny) for Feng Shui:- I will first determine the family member's Ba Zi element and strength. For example, Husband (Mr X) is considered a " Strong Wood " person. While the Wife (Mrs X) is considered a " Weak Fire " person. 2.2 Next, under the Ba Zi (Luck Pillars), I would look at - at least 2 10 year periods (both current and next year) to check…

Dear Violet, Use this as a Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm For example: Ifa person is a Strong Metal, person. Then in terms ofelements, being strong metal, need: 1. Water to help draw out or reduce her Strong Metal element. 2. When water is increased, need wood to draw it out. 3. When wood is also increased, need fire to reduce it. Thus under the productive sequence: For a Strong element person, look at the Productive cycle chart and move forward 3 elements: Thus as mentioned above, if one is a Strong Metal, look forward three elements: Water, Wood and Fire are favourable to the Strong Metal person. The Destructive Cycle Act…

Hi Anon, We get lots of such postings every other day. I must say it can sometimes be difficult to help each an everyone personally. Each home is unique and unless a full review is done to identify what's going on, it can be anyone's guess what are the leaks in the home that is causing your problem. Without knowing what is the leaks involved it is anyone's guess what you need to do to correct it. It is easy to say try to do this and that, but unforunately that is not how true feng shui works. You need to know what is the problem before you can correct it. That is why most general advise that tells you that south-west is romance sector so you must place 99 roses to get …

In my opinion, you may have missed out a fundamental or critical "success factor" in the quest for a "Perfect or near perfect or excellent home":- 1.1 Reference: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F Under Para b. Usually there are three exit points of drainage that will bring good luck to a home. And he/she should advise you on each of the exit points and even how the water / drainage show flow e.g. left to right or right to left - out of the plot of land. 2. For example:- 2.1 Landed Property Water/Drain Exit Point Flying Star facing Direction:(One of the facing directions: not for NW2 or NW3) Default Water Direction: Left to Ri…

Dear Master Cecil, Thank you for your very quick response, after my initial posting I left it for some time before having another look at the environment with fresh eyes. On returning I realised I'd placed some symbols of wealth such as money toad and a scroll of 9 goldfish which I must have done without thinking. Both of them appear to blend rather nicely with the fire items because of their colours and it actually feels ok. So I think I have addressed my issue whilst taking into account the bad stars but thank you for your link it does make alot of sense. Kindest Regards

These are some of the considerations:- 1. In gambling e.g. in casino(s); much of your luck dependsboth on the "location" - no longer your home and in most instances weightage goes to the house. 2. For your own home; Yes, you can still try to squeeze out some luck: especially activating Mountain star #8 and even Water star #8 as these are your current prosperity stars. 3. In addition, since you are into"gambling" you need to consider disarming both #3 = quarrels, scandals, lawsuits ... and #7 "robbery" star i.e. robbed of opportunity to win each time. 4. If you can take note of the annual stars; it would be great. But usually, if the home has already been "balanced" o…

Hi, In order for a good audit for accessing an excellent house, the house should not only suit a person, it has to have good stars from the flying star, and a good exterior shape and form. Which in most cases is very difficult, which is why no matter how good a house, there is still bound to be some slightly not so good. There is where you have to apply a little cure or enhancement to remove that influences. The Main door, because your house can face another direction, but your main door is located in another location. Also when you perform an audit based on the house you are performing an audit for the entire building. Especially if this is an apartment or bui…

Dear Anon, 1. Under natural forces of nature, it is acceptable to expect such conditions and one should not `worry' too much over this. 2. Most importantly, even with heavy snow, it is unlike another building blocking the frontage of the condominium. So long at most of the year, it provides a clear frontage, it is acceptable. Worse off are those houses that have their frontage blocked by as I mentioned other buildings. Warmest Regards, Cecil Warmest Regards, Cecil

  21. Frequently Asked Question for House Number Report. ............................................. Q. Can this report be used for a non-apartment unit? A. No. This report is ONLY meant for unit number in a flat. This report is supposed to help find a good unit among the same design of a particular house. This means that say when we use the Flying Star to analyse the house and found that this particular layout and house is good, we need to see which level is better. As each level has a different level of auspicious and inauspicious influence. Thus, when finding a good unit, we need to firstly find a house based on Flying Star Report. Next, is to find the best influ…

Dear Anon, Under the 20 Year Flying Star analysis; if you not doing any major renovations under Period 8 -- your house will remain under Period 7. Yes, under Period 8, NE will continue to have 7,1,7 and you should continue to use Fire as a general cure for 20 Year Flying Star. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Daniel, If I understand you correctly, you mean that the ratio of your door against the frontage is 85 percent of the house? In such a situation, so long as not all the e.g. sliding doors are opened, you need not necessary paint the door. I believe, it is equally `ugly' to do so. It is best to have natural lighting coming into the house. Assuming if you paint the door's, then there are few windows. It is a disadvantage to have a very YIN house as a result of this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

For example, which sector of the house are you having problems. - What kind of problems? e.g. health, dispute etc. - Or what you want to improve? e.g. wealth, health etc - What are the stars found in that sector? e.g. 767 yearly 1, 738 yearly 2 - True elements of person involved in that sector. Without knowing what you want to do for a particular sector, I don't know what to advice you on. Based on what you tell me are you asking for how to reduce the 2 / 5 sickness star? Dear Durelle, For a North 0/360 house under period 6: 20 Year Flying Star Chart for the North sector:- 5 7 2 Yearly star for the North Sector 5 2 For this sector: "Make use of Wood to destroy and control Earth" In general, for the interest of those who are not familiar with Flying Star: #5 (Bad Earth) represents Misfortune, Sickness while #2 (Bad Earth) represents Sickness. Based on the preliminary finding under Flying Star, indeed the North sector of the house is not inauspicious. In practise, one should also consider and neutralise imbalances of all other sectors. Equally important, is that the house must also suit the home owner plus it has also to be analysed in rela…
