Hi there, You mention that if there is a slope behind the house then the facing direction is the opposite. What if the slope is actually the view and the house has been built to take advantage of this placing all it's living areas facing the view? Thanks

Sorry, FYI my house is new house which i obtained the key from the developer in Jun 2004. The tricky part is this house is almost completed before the feb 2004. I used the Period 8 to plot my chart.

Dear Master Lee, As a North person, the floor plan that I am thinking of choosing to be built with the main door facing North is like this: SE: 1st Flr-Kitchen;2nd Flr-Master Bedroom E: 1st Flr-DividedKitchen andGarage;2ndFlr-Master Bath and Laundry. The rest of the room location seemsOK under the Eight House. What can you advise me? If I choose a house facing South and the floor plan is the same as above mentioned, what can you advise me as well? Anonymous

  7. Hi, I am a student in your flying star course. In Unit 8: How etermine the Direction of the Main Entrance Door, you introduce a method which is to determine the direction based on from the center of the house. I think it makes sense. But somehow I remember you also mentioned in one forum that for landed house, the main entrance door direction is the direction the house facing, regardless of which place (according to the center of the house) the main entrance door located. I might remember wrong. But in case it's true, could you please provide the rationale of determining the direction this way? example: House is single family house on private land. Main entrance door …

Hi Anon, We get lots of such postings every other day. I must say it can sometimes be difficult to help each an everyone personally. Each home is unique and unless a full review is done to identify what's going on, it can be anyone's guess what are the leaks in the home that is causing your problem. Without knowing what is the leaks involved it is anyone's guess what you need to do to correct it. It is easy to say try to do this and that, but unforunately that is not how true feng shui works. You need to know what is the problem before you can correct it. That is why most general advise that tells you that south-west is romance sector so you must place 99 roses to get …

  15. Dear Lionel, Quote: I was told that I should increase the ?water? for the sector 7,9 (3). I also understand that a mountain painting is always encouraged to be placed behind our seat to act as a ?support?. However, doesn?t a mountain symbolize the ?earth? which is not encouraged for the sector 7,9 (3)? To encourage water in that sector, you can consider having the room painted light blue. That will add water to the room. As for the picture, mountain picture is always nice. Anyway, if based on the 7 (Metal), 9 (Fire), 3 (Wood), adding Water and mountain painting will create a harmonious environment. ie Metal -

Aquarium should be ok with th eright number of fish and/or colour choice of fishes it will already be able to contain Metal. As for windchime, I would avoid it. As this sometimes if placed wrongly can be irritating and attract unwanted spirits.Crystals should be fine. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Usually, the consensus of many FS practitioners is that so long as the house or apartment has not been occupied even if it was constructed under Period 7 (1984 to 2003).. but when humans start occupying the home, one can easily consider the homes as under Period 8. As this is where yang activity takes place.... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Which is the correct direction that I should take and do I stand in the middle of my living room to take the measurment? Thanks a million

I am considering purchasing a lot to build my home. House # is 2201 and house front door will be facing Southeast because of the street location & floor plan. The lot is backed to a canyon has river run through it, and a dam is on the west side. The river is part of water that's let out from the dam. Is this lot suitable for me?

Dear Mark, This is one of the many "Concept Names" given to a situation in flying star concept where the problem star is also a wealth feature for that sector. For example, as everyone knows Star 5 for example is a Strong Earth star. On its own it is an inaupicious star. But when there is like a Star 8 (Earth Auspicious Star) and Star6 (Metal Auspicious Star) and that when star 5 occurs in such a sector especially as an annual star, this star 5 because it is Earth makes Star 8 stronger. Thus, is something like giving more wealth to the sector. This is further enhanced if a Five Element Combination Flow can be achieved either by:- Fire - This is why on our websi…

Dear Master: I would love you were so kind to advise on the following doubt: I am planning to change my bed from the present position-headboard against NE part of the grid and also of the bedroom( North/South axis)where I have the star combo 5-1-9(NE) and 9-5-5(E)-to the North part of the bedroom wherethe bedroomwindow is and the star combo is:7-3-7 but this year the 9 star is in this part of the grid. Can I do this? Will I feel any better?I have had some health problems like back aches, sinusitis and eye problems. Thanks beforehand for your advise

Dear Jean, Generally, there should not be an issue as each intermediate terrace has it's own space. And in Feng Shui, each intermediate terrace owns a site. And can be distinct from each other. The major concerns would be any water course e.g. large drain(s) on the side of the home or a large drainage behind the home etc... Nevertheless, each site should be considered separately and since often no two sites are the same, a proper FS assessment should be made specific to that plot of land. Thus what I had mentioned, now or in the past are general statements or general comments, only. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, The Flying star apartment report is based on the idea that each floor or storey has a different qi flow. And this Flying Star analysis is known as "Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui". However, it has to be used in conjunction with "horizontal Flying star Feng Shui" or the regular 20 Year Flying Star analysis. Since you now see him more often, try to make the opportunity to be togetherness. Warmest Regards, Cecil
