Hi Joel, Joel Tee wrote: so i assume that putting a windchime ,aquarium and a crystal here will form a good combination? whats do u think. thanks very much! Aquarium should be ok with th eright number of fish and/or colour choice of fishes it will already be able to contain Metal. Alternatively, put in like 6/8 coins into the aquarium which represent metal and luck also possible. The best kind of aquarium is one which contain a little of each five element. As for windchime, I would avoid it. As this sometimes if placed wrongly can be irritating and attract unwanted spirits.Crystals should be fine. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Usually, the consensus of many FS practitioners is that so long as the house or apartment has not been occupied even if it was constructed under Period 7 (1984 to 2003).. but when humans start occupying the home, one can easily consider the homes as under Period 8. As this is where yang activity takes place.... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Robert - I am living on the 4th floor of a HDB flat and my main door is facing west (facing out of the door) and the opposite ismy neighbour's door. If I stand facing out of my door, on my right hand (North) isthe 02 ways road and on the left (South) is a big openspace car park. Which is the correct direction that I should take and do I stand in the middle of my living room to take the measurment? Thanks a million

I am considering purchasing a lot to build my home. House # is 2201 and house front door will be facing Southeast because of the street location & floor plan. The lot is backed to a canyon has river run through it, and a dam is on the west side. The river is part of water that's let out from the dam. Is this lot suitable for me?

Dear Mark, This is one of the many "Concept Names" given to a situation in flying star concept where the problem star is also a wealth feature for that sector. For example, as everyone knows Star 5 for example is a Strong Earth star. On its own it is an inaupicious star. But when there is like a Star 8 (Earth Auspicious Star) and Star6 (Metal Auspicious Star) and that when star 5 occurs in such a sector especially as an annual star, this star 5 because it is Earth makes Star 8 stronger. Thus, is something like giving more wealth to the sector. This is further enhanced if a Five Element Combination Flow can be achieved either by:- Fire - This is why on our websi…

Dear Master: I would love you were so kind to advise on the following doubt: I am planning to change my bed from the present position-headboard against NE part of the grid and also of the bedroom( North/South axis)where I have the star combo 5-1-9(NE) and 9-5-5(E)-to the North part of the bedroom wherethe bedroomwindow is and the star combo is:7-3-7 but this year the 9 star is in this part of the grid. Can I do this? Will I feel any better?I have had some health problems like back aches, sinusitis and eye problems. Thanks beforehand for your advise

Dear All, 1. Using the productive cycle template: METAL - thus we can make the above formula more meaningful by adding the words good or bad into the above equation:- EXCELLENT #9 (strong fire) - Beingcurrently a weak metal, it cannot really efficiently draw out or exhaust strong earth #5. In addition, two other elements are left untouched! Water and Wood. 6. Water element can be introduced to this sector: fortwo reasons:- 6.1USINGWATER IN THIS SECTOR(WHY IS WATER SUITABLE IN THIS SECTOR) w…

Dear Jean, Generally, there should not be an issue as each intermediate terrace has it's own space. And in Feng Shui, each intermediate terrace owns a site. And can be distinct from each other. The major concerns would be any water course e.g. large drain(s) on the side of the home or a large drainage behind the home etc... Nevertheless, each site should be considered separately and since often no two sites are the same, a proper FS assessment should be made specific to that plot of land. Thus what I had mentioned, now or in the past are general statements or general comments, only. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, The Flying star apartment report is based on the idea that each floor or storey has a different qi flow. And this Flying Star analysis is known as "Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui". However, it has to be used in conjunction with "horizontal Flying star Feng Shui" or the regular 20 Year Flying Star analysis. Since you now see him more often, try to make the opportunity to be togetherness. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello Master Lee, I have a very basic understanding of feng shui but learning however i notice from my mothers house there is the following star combinations which concern me a little for her. East facing direction 9M 5W. North 2M 7W and NW 6M 2W would you suggest i place round metal in all these sections and perhaps the salt water cure? According to my book 9M 5W suggests confusion of mind and impulsive behavior and this seems to be correct in this case, next year 2 arrives in the east which may make matters worse so would like to try and help her. I look forward to your reply. David

Thanks for your help, i will try, and decide between 4, 5 and 6.

  14. I went nuts with this same issue my house being 1903 ! I never really figured it out, but when I renovated my kitchen I felt the whole energy change. I basically had the rear of the house (where things were really congested before) totally opened up where most of the back wall was gone and the floor of more than 1/3 of the first floor was removed to the joists . This was like that for several days.I hadn't even thought about it til later, but now I used period 8 and also changed facing direction to west from east because it is so much more open to the air and sun in the east now. So read the various methods on when to change but don't discount your intuition also !

Dear David, Often, when one has already stayed in an existing home; and if one knows how to draw and analyse Flying Star chart(s); Since you have stayed in the home since 1981, it is more sensible to draw several Flying star chart(s).

Dear Anon, Generally, Eight Aspiration / Eight House / Flying Star are part of what is known as the compass school of feng shui. 1. Eight Aspiration where the directions for the various sectors are always fixed based on the bagua direction is the least important of the many concepts. 2. Eight House is more personalised thatn Eight Aspiration where each person depending on the year of birth, will have a certain 4 good and 4 bad directions. This helps you determine whether a house or sector of a home generally suits you or not. If a house has excellent feng shui but it doesn't suit you then, you get very little luck from the house itself. 3. Flying Star is something lik…

  17. Dear Anon, To be truly honest, pending just a few lines of text (similar to what you had provided) is much like a wild guess. The information provided does not even remotely take into consideration many factors or lots of information are incomplete. Given this, sometimes, simply go with your instincts or bring along family members to view each home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil, I am a weak metal person, according to your free report, and my kua is 9. Still in your free report that suggest house suitable for me is facing south. My question is: as the facing house is south, means sitting position is on north. Do you agree that as a weak metal person, water in my sitting position will exhaust my energy so that my metal becoming weaker? Do south still my favourite facing house? Thank you, regards, Wawan

Dear HP, In my opinion, your home is still considered as a Period 7 home. This is because Lunar New Year falls on 22 Jan 2004 and it ends only on the 15th day after 22 Jan 2004. And 6 Feb falls within this "curcial" new year period. Anyway, a Period 7 home can change or remain at Period 7 or to Period 8. While a Period 8 home cannot go back to the past. In order to go back to the past: Please purchase "Back to the Future: Part III" video. "Surely, one can than imagine going to the past *JOKE* Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Regina, In a recent sicence world documentary, it was found that a University of London study found that: 1. Patients trying to recover from a dental surgery or pulling of the teeth often have a swelling on their cheek. 2. In the University of London study, a group was given pacebo ("sugar coated pill") and someone attended to the patient with an ultrasonic machine (turned off) but this attendant goes thru the motion of "rubbing" this "high-tech" equipment on the person's cheek. 3. Based on the documentary, nearly 60 percent of this respondent (patients) fair better than anyone else who were not given such a "treatment" and drug. 4. One conclusion was that if on…

  22. Dear All, Mr Wasis Sugiono, a regular forum user says that his friend found that the Suunto brand compass can be bought cheapest at one or two shops located in Lucky Plaza, Singapore. If you are in Singapore and instead of ordering from the internet, you can perhaps check out Lucky Plaza, at Orchard Road, Singapore. (Next to Marriot Hotel) and within walking distance of Orchard MRT station. Warmest Regards, Cecil Wasis Sugiono" (email-address removed) wrote in message

Dear Nhan, Usually, if you look at my reply, it is often mentioned as "It depends". This is because if the building is constructed and closed-up (no qi flow), and later, one moves-in (yang qi) than, it is best to take the move-in date. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Peter, Frankly, if one is in an open space concept and cannot control the layout planning, than there is not much choice, here. Fortunately, you are not sitting facing the death or disaster sector. Which is worse-off. Often, in such cases or situation, if we are limited by "earth luck" i.e. location, than what matters most is to boost our "human / man luck". Here, positive work attitude, our PR skills etc.. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. for the benefit of those who are moving office, often the following ritual are performed: Select an auspicious date & time for the Office Warming Day. 1 On this day, make sure that all windows, ventilation must be covered up - usu…
