Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by myfs_107464,

Dear Jean, Generally, there should not be an issue as each intermediate terrace has it's own space. And in Feng Shui, each intermediate terrace owns a site. And can be distinct from each other. The major concerns would be any water course e.g. large drain(s) on the side of the home or a large drainage behind the home etc... Nevertheless, each site should be considered separately and since often no two sites are the same, a proper FS assessment should be made specific to that plot of land. Thus what I had mentioned, now or in the past are general statements or general comments, only. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mark, This is one of the many "Concept Names" given to a situation in flying star concept where the problem star is also a wealth feature for that sector. For example, as everyone knows Star 5 for example is a Strong Earth star. On its own it is an inaupicious star. But when there is like a Star 8 (Earth Auspicious Star) and Star6 (Metal Auspicious Star) and that when star 5 occurs in such a sector especially as an annual star, this star 5 because it is Earth makes Star 8 stronger. Thus, is something like giving more wealth to the sector. This is further enhanced if a Five Element Combination Flow can be achieved either by:- Fire - This is why on our websi…

Dear Anon, Usually, the consensus of many FS practitioners is that so long as the house or apartment has not been occupied even if it was constructed under Period 7 (1984 to 2003).. but when humans start occupying the home, one can easily consider the homes as under Period 8. As this is where yang activity takes place.... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Anon, We get lots of such postings every other day. I must say it can sometimes be difficult to help each an everyone personally. Each home is unique and unless a full review is done to identify what's going on, it can be anyone's guess what are the leaks in the home that is causing your problem. Without knowing what is the leaks involved it is anyone's guess what you need to do to correct it. It is easy to say try to do this and that, but unforunately that is not how true feng shui works. You need to know what is the problem before you can correct it. That is why most general advise that tells you that south-west is romance sector so you must place 99 roses to get …

  6. Dear Lionel, Quote: I was told that I should increase the ?water? for the sector 7,9 (3). I also understand that a mountain painting is always encouraged to be placed behind our seat to act as a ?support?. However, doesn?t a mountain symbolize the ?earth? which is not encouraged for the sector 7,9 (3)? To encourage water in that sector, you can consider having the room painted light blue. That will add water to the room. As for the picture, mountain picture is always nice. Anyway, if based on the 7 (Metal), 9 (Fire), 3 (Wood), adding Water and mountain painting will create a harmonious environment. ie Metal -

Dear Fanny, Your house is "Sum to Ten" house, the Mountain star combines with Base star equals to ten. This type of chart creates auspicious health, relationships and fertility. In your facing Palace, there is a Mountain star 5 which is untimely star for Period 8, hence you cannot use Yang water to activate Water star 8. Yin water is preferred in this Palace. Moreover, the excessive Earth elements in facing Palace control Water. There are excessive Earth elements in your facing Palace, use big Metal to exhaust the Earth elements. Hope this information helps you. Thank you. Best regards always, David

Dear SF Choe, Quote: Renovations included relocating 3 toilets/bathrooms, tearing down and creating some walls in all 3 floors, and extended tha back of house further by 5ft (2 storeys high and additional new 5ft roof added). Completely newly replaced were water piping, all the flooring, ceiling and electrical wiring. All in, I would say about 80% of the house was renovated. In general, the tearing down and creation of walls is as good as a major renovation as the Qi flow within the house is affected. As such the house will be deemed as a Period 8 house. Hope that helps. Dear Carolyn, In general, it is acceptable to place a water feature where there is a water star #8 (current prosperity) sector. Even if we want to place a water feature, it should also "look appropriate" at a location that is "functional" and not obstrusive to the interior decor. Without a picture or sketch, really cannot imagine the layout thus it can be on the right corner or within the sector - that's OK. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Should it be on the right corner of that affected sector, or anywhere inside that sector?

Then in terms ofelements, being strong metal, need: 1. Water to help draw out or reduce her Strong Metal element. 2. When water is increased, need wood to draw it out. 3. When wood is also increased, need fire to reduce it. Thus under the productive sequence: For a Strong element person, look at the Productive cycle chart and move forward 3 elements: Thus as mentioned above, if one is a Strong Metal, look forward three elements: Water, Wood and Fire are favourable to the Strong Metal person. The Destructive Cycle Act…
