Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by myfs_11602,

Dear Angeline, Well, in order to know this you have to understand how the Flying Star works and know how to analyse the details of the numbers. It is best to use the anlaysis from teh Flying Star report if you are not sure how to do it yourself. Generally, you have to relate the two MS and WS and then later to the base star to know whether the sector is good or bad, and not simply just based on one or two star numbers that are found in the sector. For example if the sector is 656 then the sector is not so bad even with the star 5. However, if it is 528 then you will be in a lot more trouble. At this point, the easiest way is to apply a little of your Five element know…

  2. Further to what I had mentioned, sometimes, "leaks" such as a water position e.g. fountain or fish tank should also be taken into consideration. For example, in general, like the SW2 direction of the main door, if one is staying in a condo, where water is at this area, often, the home may be out of balance. I.e. with #3 and #4 (bad wood) around, water may inadvertently fuel this or aggrevate bad wood - bringing lots of problems. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Toni, 1. As you are aware, the key `ingredient' to Flying Star analysis is to determine the exact compass degree of the front door. This is the traditional way to do Feng Shui not only from this site but any other sites practising traditional Feng Shui. 2. I have mentioned in a few earlier emails that for those who are more `creative' can if they want to find the frontage of their house and from here need not necessary use the `door' at this location but even windows. Or if they feel differently about which ever main door they think can be used. This is usually where "most light comes" into the home. 3. There are some who like to impress their clients, can use such m…

    1. You should be more concerned with some of the points found under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F 2. For example, a frontage at NE and East will vastly affect how the water (rain water) drains from your plot of land to out of your home. This may sound very simple, but in general for most homes, there are often two directions wheredrainage will equate with Wealth and the third direction will equate with "Power and Authority" for the person staying there. 3. The saying goes " a little knowledge is a dangerous thing"! And for proper Feng Shui to work, it is needs a holistic approach. 4. What you are trying to practise is both …

Dear Anon, I just remembered another parallel example. Can we say that the instruction manuals for all cars / vehicle are the same? 1. Firstly there are automatic and manual (clutch driven cars). Can we then, read the instruction manual of an automatic car and then apply it to a manual (clutch driven car). Obviously not. 2. For those who have driven Japanese cars vs European / Continental (US) cars, there are differences in the wind screen wipers and indicators. 3. In my country where we drive (right handed), in a Japanese car, the wind screen wipers are controlled by our left hand. While the directional indicators are controlled by the right hand. This differs with an Eu…

Dear Ricardo, Apologise for the delay, due to too many questions posted daily, we may have missed it the last time. There are many ways to use a Flying Star, but usually in the website we are focused only on the House Analysis. This is it the direction where the main door faces from the center of the house. However, in doing a manual calculation, this is not exactly so simple, as you need to know the actually facing and sitting direction. However, the website's Flying Star report takes the trouble of this by doing it as soon as it knows the actual main door direction based on a normal compass. I believe what you could be confused is that, there is often some books…

  7. 1. Frankly, if one simply applies the Eight House (Eight Mansions) or Ba Chai Feng Shui, what you had mentioned is very common occurence. 2. Feng Shui is far more "complex" than this and the external Feng Shui : The environment, the site, the building are equally important in the proper assessment of the home. Thus, what you had mentioned is to general for a genuine assessment purely based on Feng Shui. 3. Numerology or house number will often not affect the Feng Shui. But as you had mentioned, usually may affect the resale value as well as one's personal feelings: if we don't feel good about something then it affects our "Human luck" factor. Here, the holy trinity of …

Dear Cecil, Thanks for the remarkably fast reply. It's marvellous!!! Thanks for the pointer on cures and enhancement. Coming back to the question regaring the 747 combination of the main entrance. Is the 4 regarded as bad element in this combination especially when the year element is also 4 making it double? What can I do about it in this instance? And if there's mountain star present in this same sector, what is best to take advantage and enhance it? My other confusion is if I already apply cures/enhancement looking at say yearly chart, what's the main purpose of a monthly star chart? what exactly should I be looking at? I suppose is to detect any bad combination of say…

  9. Hi, I am a student in your flying star course. In Unit 8: How etermine the Direction of the Main Entrance Door, you introduce a method which is to determine the direction based on from the center of the house. I think it makes sense. But somehow I remember you also mentioned in one forum that for landed house, the main entrance door direction is the direction the house facing, regardless of which place (according to the center of the house) the main entrance door located. I might remember wrong. But in case it's true, could you please provide the rationale of determining the direction this way? example: House is single family house on private land. Main entrance door …

Dear Waldo, As the saying goes, a little knowlege is a dangerous thing. When we follo=w an advice e.g. on say a Feng Shui procedure, follow the advice in total n=ot piecemeal i.e. a bit of this add to abit of that and then come to a conclusion. Here, if you follow the advice in total, and if you feel that something i=s " not right " feel free to ask the person giving the advice. This is a bett=er approach as if you need more information and if the party can be contacte=d, do check with him / her the rationale for doing it. -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, February 03, 1999 10:37 PM Sub…

  13. Master I have a fs question - my parents have a old house (period 7 NE2) they r thinking of rebuilding it? Should they do it in period 8 or wait till period 9 2024 - Extract from a WhatsApp Mg. Period 9 NE2 has both the very auspicious double #9's at the frontage as well as Sum of Ten where the Base Star + Moutain Star adds up to Ten. Even if this sector has bad stars it can flip to become favourable sector. Period 8 NE2 has the misfortune sickness at the frontage. The Period 9 wealth stars are at East and South. Very unlucky if these sectors are e.g. a toilet especially at East If rebuilt during Period 8, should have done so between 2004 till 2012. As from…

  14. Dear SF Choe, sf choe wrote: Thank you very much, Robert, for confirming Period 8 for my house. Based on that, I had done the Flying Stars Chart and came up with 5m 5t 8w at SW sector. What does this mean because I got frightened seeing the double 5 there. My house is facing SW1 but my main door is tilted in the West Sector facing SW3 (235 degrees). Also,my Centre Palace has the star combo 2m 8t 5w, again I got scared seeing the 2-5 combo! Normally, if there is star 5's and star 2's occur on the same sector. It will spell trouble. But in your case, it is a period 8 house, so the star 2 and star 5 when paired with a star 8, will actually be good for the star 8 as it will n…

Dear Elena, Sorry for the delay in response. The Flying Star Theory is quite similar with the Eight House in it's application. Both provides sector by sector analysis. If one sector has the Romance Luck, it does not mean that the entire house is `filled' with "romance". The influence is only at that sector. For the main door, if one has Double 7's it means that in general the house is an auspicious house. The main door is considered a vital analysis. Otherwise, if the Romance, is at the main bedroom this is good. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rose, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Tuesday, May 25, 1999 2:43 PM Subject: Meanings of the Base Star Numerals The problem with this lies in the fact there is a rule set that the current period number say (7) takes preceedence in which it controls the star 7. That means that say in period 3, 3 controls star 3, therefore any inauspicious period is removed. Period 3 becomes the current prosperity. However, the rest of the stars remains unchanged. This is because, the fixed default in the San Yuan Di Li Theory (60 Cycles), states that normally for the initial part of …

Dear Elena, 1. For metal beams, the most important consideration is the time spent at that sector. 2. If the beam happens to be above one's bed or the sofa, we can try to neutralise it. 3. But if the beam is on it's own and one does not spent much time below it, then this is usually not an issue. 4. Yes, the idea is to use 6 coins. Alternatively, some FS practitioners advise to use 6 stars. Some people prefer not to use 6 stars because of the pointed spokes of the stars. But this is still considered a cure. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  18. Started by wasis,

Dear Wasis, It is best to scan the entire home to check on: 1. White If the walls are white in colour (white represents metal) no additional cure is needed. 2. Water element If there are water positions at a specific sector. Or if there are relatively large amounts of blue, black or grey at a sector that has particulary lots of #3 or #4 (bad wood) Or where the year has bad #3 or #4; since water helps wood, it is best to see if we can avoid adding water element here. If there is too much `water' element here, then, additional cure should be used to control the bad wood #3 or #4 or multiples of it. 3. Wood element At a location that has bad #3 and #4. In addition to water, …

  19. Started by elena,

Dear Elena, 1. My personal advise or `caution' is to avoid using `gold' colour when painting a room. 2. This is because: 2.1 Real gold colour can make the room pretty dark or if we use real gold colour (it has to become `shiny' or gleaming). Few if any home would paint such a colour. 3. Most of the time, the `GOLD' colour we are suppose to paint ends up being pastel shades closer to "YELLOW" tones. 4. Yellow tones spell trouble especially if that sector has an imbalcne caused by BAD EARTH or STAR #5. It may unduly aggrevate the situation at that sector. 5. Painting the room `darker' to coincide with gold i.e. ranging from 18K colour to 24K colour could make the room dark…

Yes, in layman terms; center-of-gravity and centerpoint or if you want to call it "Center of area" is similar. Usually, center-of-gravity is more specific to a person, photocopy a layout; paste it on a cardboard; cut-out the outline and balance this item on a pin to locate the center-of-gravity. While drawing a centerpoint is just that : looking at an image and trying to figure out where the centrepoint is. Center = American Centre = British

Assuming that your "house" youare referrring to a landed property: if you have garden, the best solution(s) are: 1. Landscaping: 1.1. If it is soil and grass patch area, then you can outline a profile such that from a helicopter view; you can seen a distinct outline of the missing corner. 1.2 In addition, a lamp-post at the corner of this profile would be good. For example, nowadays, there are solar panel lightinings - canuse it instead of the troublesome laying ofpower cables to the lightning point. 2.Concrete or tiled area: 2.1. Make use of flower pots to go along the profile of the outline of the missing corner.

  24. Started by elena,

Dear Elena, Usually when one wants to deal with the month it can get pretty messy and complicated. So the easiest way is to relate the monthly to the yearly analysis and to your base star. More importantly look out for where the star 5, 2, 3 (or any bad stars falls). This is based on the `Exception Principle.' Where it is better to focus on `exceptions' and if they do happen i.e. 5, 2 and 3 do take precaution! For the layperson, usually no further cures are needed as the 20-year and yearly stars cures are sufficient for analysing a sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

For all those who had purchased the Flying Star Report, we have just launched a Monthly Flying Star Report in addition to the Yearly Flying Star Report. This will provide an accuracy of reading from 20-year, yearly & monthly. With the full knowledge of the movement in stars, you can then take precaution for the the year or month which does not favour you. Giving you the knowledge needed to get the best benefit and reduce any bad influences which might affect your house or office. As this is the first beta for this module, we are still in the process for developing the analysis for this charts. However, feel free to try it out:) Feel free to provide any feedback or su…
