    Dear Elena, 1. My personal advise or `caution' is to avoid using `gold' colour when painting a room. 2. This is because: 2.1 Real gold colour can make the room pretty dark or if we use real gold colour (it has to become `shiny' or gleaming). Few if any home would paint such a colour. 3. Most of the time, the `GOLD' colour we are suppose to paint ends up being pastel shades closer to "YELLOW" tones. 4.     Dear Anon, A house built in 1985 is considered a `Period 7' house and thus it's birth-chart has the characteristics of a Period 7 house but based on the direction of main entrance door specific for Period 7.   5. Hi, Feng Shui is based on priorities and purpose. In terms of priorities, one should look at the 20 Year Flying Star Chart of the overall sector. If it is auspicious, this is good. The Yearly Flying Star Chart does not look at the two stars but simply the base number and a star number. This gives a feel of the yearly chart. Now, since you are aware of the Flying Star Chart, as you have mentioned, you looked at your Eight House Chart.     Dear Elena, Sorry for the delay in response. The Flying Star Theory is quite similar with the Eight House in it's application. Both provides sector by sector analysis. If one sector has the Romance Luck, it does not mean that the entire house is `filled' with "romance". The influence is only at that sector. For the main door, if one has Double 7's it means that in general the house is an auspicious house. The main door is considered a vital analysis.     Dear Tam, From what I can understand from what you wrote, essentially, what you describe is the Flying Star by taking the Frontage of the house or building rather than based on the main door. This is often considered the `macro' version of the Flying Star Theory where it is often used to analysing a big plot of land e.g. bungalow house or large building where the exterior of the building can also be analysed by the Flying Star i.e. the stars of that direction can be extended out to that direction.     Dear Dr Muthu, If you are in Malaysia, my best advise is to consult a Feng Shui Practioner. This is because, even if you can calculate the Flying Star correctly, a picture perfect Flying Star report is not as important as a full Feng Shui Audit. Even under the Flying Star, it has to be used in relation to other Feng Shui anaysis e.g. the Shapes and Form and even personalised to yourself. Furthermore, in your case, it has to do more with your business location (unless it is the same as your home). You have to look at the overall interaction of the #5 in relation to the 20-year sector. Usually, if you have cured or solve any problems with the 20-year itself, it should be quite safe for you, as they additional yearly star should not cause that much of a problem.   22. Dear Anon, Actually, there are 8 sectors + the centre sector = Nine sectors. This represents the 9 Grids or the Flying Stars with base numbers of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Here, it is the movement of these 9 numbers within each period where Flying Star `handles'. One should thus not be confused with the 24 mountains or (mountains = directions) where one must find the direction of the door first.     In your case, 6 strong metal does already control the 4 weak wood. However, as mentioned the report analysis only two stars at any one time. 6 metal has to accomplish two task here, to destroy the weak wood and to exhaust the earth. So often in such situation more Metal helps it. And since in the current year the 6 metal comes in again, it does fullfil the need to help the other 6 metal to destroy and control the elements. This is because I had factored in the problem here that the Wood is a strong wood and not a weak wood.
