Dear Darius, If you are taking the reading of the building, then, the audit is meant for the entire building. And your house is just a mere (specific) sector or `grid'. If you need confirmation to confirm the centrepoint or to confirm the layout, feel free to either:- 1. create a sketch in graphic file in any of the popular format i.e. .jpg, .bmp, .gif and upload to this forum. alternatively, simply fax it to:- 065-6482570 I will be more than happy to assist you to confirm your layout / main door direction. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Tervino, Please see below:- In this case, both 5 earth and 3 wood are bad. So you need to control the two The system analyses two elements at any one time to make sure that it captures the essence of each problem. To control 3 wood, Metal is a good cure. 5 earth can also be controlled by Wood element. So in this case, 3 Wood happens to control 5 earth already. However, 5 Earth is left uncontrolled. Metal which is available in 7 Metal (mountain Star) and yearly star 7, will help you balance the sector, as Metal also exhaust earth and destroy wood, thus is the solution for this sector. In your case, this sector has now balanced itself. So no further cure is really…

Dear Anon, Under the 20 Year Flying Star analysis; if you not doing any major renovations under Period 8 -- your house will remain under Period 7. Yes, under Period 8, NE will continue to have 7,1,7 and you should continue to use Fire as a general cure for 20 Year Flying Star. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Generally with that combination of star, it should be no problem to place a fish tank there. Assuming everything else is ok. Just try to make use of the number of fish so that it forms certain element which is favourable for the breadwinner at least. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, Actually, almost anything that has mass can be used as an activation for mountain star. So long as it has mass. And if you use crystal is represents water element. Usefully if the sector requires water element as a balance. Bronze is like metal, suitable for metal element. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, 1. I believe what you are referring to is based on the Five elements in relation to the Flying Star numbers. 2. At each sector, there can be `conflicts' of the Five elements. 3. The `conflicts' can be seen as either helpful or harmful. 4. For example, if the `conflicting' element aids or help to neutralise or contain a bad element, then this is helpful. 5. Another example, if the rogue element is a the Five Yellow or Strong Earth, it would be nice to have a conflicting `Strong wood' element to neutralise it. 6. If the `position of conflict' is based on Traditional Feng Shui, then, one should use the Five Elements to analyse the conflict or complement to each o…

Dear Elena, 1. For metal beams, the most important consideration is the time spent at that sector. 2. If the beam happens to be above one's bed or the sofa, we can try to neutralise it. 3. But if the beam is on it's own and one does not spent much time below it, then this is usually not an issue. 4. Yes, the idea is to use 6 coins. Alternatively, some FS practitioners advise to use 6 stars. Some people prefer not to use 6 stars because of the pointed spokes of the stars. But this is still considered a cure. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, To summarise: 1. One should not personally `disturb or touch' him during this period. 1. In your home, you should avoid offending the Grand Duke. 2. Someone else outside can `disturb' the Grand Duke e.g. digging at the East and this will affect you also. The advise is to place `big' metal between you and the disturbance. For example, a large object such as a car. (Metal). But if you are doing gardening, a spade between the house and action going on. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Glyn, There are no known written documentation on the use of water beds. However, I remembered one or two FS Practioners/Masters are not infavour of the use of the water bed. Perhaps, this is a general comment by them. In my opinion, I am not infavour of a water bed. Not sure why... maybe I have not slept on one before. However, do take note that a circular bed is considered not auspicious or two single beds joined together. Dear Tervino, Please see below:- Usually the report will tell you if there is a mountain star available and it is only found in the 20-year star. The rules to activating the stars is simple, mountain stars often is activated in the sector which is a solid wall (there should not be a window here otherwise you cannot activate this sector.) Also, the next rule is that it has to fall into a room, best to be a bedroom, study room. Living room can also be activated except often, if necessary the living room usually has another star Water star to activate with water feature. As the living room is often considered a large open space. Also the mountain star should not be activ…

Dear Sheila, 1. Yes, I do agree with you. There is relatively no problem with stone Buddha in conflict with the Grand Duke. 2. Before, all of us get `carried away with the concept of Grand Duke... *JOKE* The relevant idea is that Grand Duke that it is the planet Jupiter. And Jupiter is the largest planet it's magnetic field or force is what is considered as having a an influence. Much like the tiny moon that affects our tide. 3. Overall, in my opinion although there are two major `dislikes' of the Grand Duke: a. Touching (e.g. painting a wall) and b. Distrubing him 4. I feel that the greater impact is under Para 2 i.e. disturbing him. Especially e.g. digging earth at the …

Dear Elena, 1. It is interesting to note that currently, the majority of `cures' in Feng Shui today centres around the `metal element'. 2. Thus, it would not be uncommon to find `metal' cures that are being proposed such as: 2.1. the 6 coins (which represents big metal) 2.2. metallic wind chimes. 2.3. this include a Feng Shui (straight length metallic ruler). 2.4. Using a grandfather clock with its rythmic metallic tick-tock sound representing constant metallic sound. 3. Ideally, in my opinion, the safest `cure' is the use of the 6 coins. Where I mentioned above, 6 coins represent `big earth'. 4. When this cure is placed at a sector e.g. to cure an imbalance under the 20 …

Dear Peter, Please see below:- Let's take an example: Period 7 is from 1984 to 2003. Assume that a period 6 house that was built in 1982. So what happens to the Flying Star Analysis for this Period 6 house? If there are no major renovations done to this Period 6 house, it will still continue to have the birth chart of a Period 6 house i.e. #6 at the center of the chart. The same goes for any other houses built in Period e.g 4, 5, 6. Thus for a Period 7 house; assume that it was built in 1986. If there are no major renovations done after it was built i.e. 1986 and until 2004; it will still be considered a Period 7 house. Only when you do a major renovation e.g. in th…

Dear Anon, San Sha is simply Triple Killing. That the 3 directions or mountain combines together and thus create an unfavarourable zone for any of the three locations. Sui Po is Location in conflict with the Grand Duke. Which is located opposite of the Grand Duke. Both of which are normally locations which are not in favourable terms with the Grand Duke. Dear Josephine, Please see below:- If you have a sketch (proprotionate size, location of windows etc..) of the layout plan and attached to this forum, I would be glad to take a look at it as it is currently difficult for me comment. Overall, it is best to give top priority to the placement of your desk based on Shapes and Form principles. Only after you have satisfied this condition that you look further into:- 1.2 spending more time at a good sector (if possible). 2.2 only after looking at it from Shapes and Form and Para 1, you then look at which direction is good facing direction for you. Usually, a pair of tigers would be more appropriate rather than a lone ti…

Dear Elena, You brought up an interesting question. 1. Usually, one major influence is also the exterior of the house. 2. A major renovation does change the birth chart of the house. 3. In order to change the birth chart of the house, one has to understand that it has to be an `old' house. For example, Period 7 is between Chinese New Year 1984 to 2003. If the house was built in 1995. No matter how ones change i.e. a major renovation, it is not going to help as it will still remain a Period 7 house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Isabelle, Please see below:- There is not much one can do other than to neutralise the #4's in this situation. Metal element would help to neutralise the bad wood #4's. There are several ways to look at water positions. If one is using Flying Star method, the best location is one where there is metal at that sector. For example, if the frontage of the house has say a #7 mountain, Base 1 #7 water, in this area, there are metal elements. Provided, this sector is as mentioned earlier, the frontage of the house, or e.g. the balcony area, one can take advantage of water elements with #7 metal elements. The fundamental element in Feng Shui and even Flying Star Fen…

Dear Chee Tiong, For the 20 Year Flying Star chart, in this period ie. Period 7, one should use 7 in the centre. For other charts i.e. Yearly, Monthly and/or Daily chart, it depends on the Period computation for that particular Year, Month or daily charts. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Under the Yearly or Monthly calculations, no mountain or water stars can be calculated. Usually, the calculation is based on the `Base' star only. We would love to calculate if there is such a thing as the Yearly or Monthly `mountain' or `water' stars but there isn't any of these stars to calculate for the year. This is why, in Traditional Feng Shui, one notice that for a Flying Star Reading or calculations it has to be done for a 20 Year Flying Star analysis. The Yearly star(s) is based on or similar to the calculation of the Base number. Hope this explains why: 1. I have mentioned that Flying Star Analysis even if it is time dimension is done on a 20 year per…

Dear Anon, 1. Under natural forces of nature, it is acceptable to expect such conditions and one should not `worry' too much over this. 2. Most importantly, even with heavy snow, it is unlike another building blocking the frontage of the condominium. So long at most of the year, it provides a clear frontage, it is acceptable. Worse off are those houses that have their frontage blocked by as I mentioned other buildings. Warmest Regards, Cecil Warmest Regards, Cecil
