Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by jasonct,

Dear Jason, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Friday, June 25, 1999 10:23 AM Subject: Flying Star 'Numbering' Flying Star is the most complicated theory compared to other theories such as Eight House or other theories. It also contains lots of various conditions which you need to understand before you can analyse the theories properly. It is because of this complexity, that we have converted our knowledge of Flying Star into a computerized Flying Star module to help users easily apply this theory into a person's life. Dear Donna, In order for us to help you, I need to know what you want advise on? For example, which sector of the house are you having problems. - What kind of problems? e.g. health, dispute etc. - Or what you want to improve? e.g. wealth, health etc - What are the stars found in that sector? e.g. 767 yearly 1, 738 yearly 2 - True elements of person involved in that sector. Without knowing what you want to do for a particular sector, I don't know what to advice you on. Based on what you tell me are you asking for how to reduce the 2 / 5 sickness star? If so, I need to know who is contantly staying in that sector and what element is that person. Warmest Regards Robert Le…

Dear Ney Gonz?lez S?nchez, Please read below:- This is because they take your element based on the year of birth. For example:- 25 Jan 1963 between 9.00 a.m. to 10.59 a.m. This is the 1st day in 1963. 1963 is represented by gui-mao, which is yin Water - yin Wood. Some authors like to take the heavenly stem representation which is yin Water, while others like to take the earthly branch yin Wood. In which either case are both correct depending on its uses. Thus, you were termed as water, based on the heavenly stem version of it. This is the quick Pillars version of determining your element. If you were taken as wood, it is based on the astrological influence of the yea…

Dear Angeline, Well, in order to know this you have to understand how the Flying Star works and know how to analyse the details of the numbers. It is best to use the anlaysis from teh Flying Star report if you are not sure how to do it yourself. Generally, you have to relate the two MS and WS and then later to the base star to know whether the sector is good or bad, and not simply just based on one or two star numbers that are found in the sector. For example if the sector is 656 then the sector is not so bad even with the star 5. However, if it is 528 then you will be in a lot more trouble. At this point, the easiest way is to apply a little of your Five element know…

Dear Laurie, 1. Yes, Flying Star is based on the 9 periods of the Chinese calendar system. 2. For the benefit of users who are not aware what is the nine periods. You can view this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-calendar.htm 3. One 1 Cycle of the lunar calendar consists of 180 years or 9 periods x 20 years. 4. Each cycle is divided into 3 groups: Upper, Middle and Lower. Each group comprise 3 periods. Each period is 20 years. 5. This is where the Flying Star Feng Shui is based on this 20 year cycle. 6. And as you have mentioned can be classified as the Year cycle. From what you had mentioned, it is true that within each 20 year cycle, the numbers or pe…

  7. Hi, The Eight House Theory applies to a person's auspicious sector and direction. It cannot `determine' if one can place a fish tank at the location. If the purpose is to `drown' the death sector then this is wrong. The Eight House cannot be used to analyse a situation. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Daniel, If I understand you correctly, you mean that the ratio of your door against the frontage is 85 percent of the house? In such a situation, so long as not all the e.g. sliding doors are opened, you need not necessary paint the door. I believe, it is equally `ugly' to do so. It is best to have natural lighting coming into the house. Assuming if you paint the door's, then there are few windows. It is a disadvantage to have a very YIN house as a result of this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Elena, Usually when one wants to deal with the month it can get pretty messy and complicated. So the easiest way is to relate the monthly to the yearly analysis and to your base star. More importantly look out for where the star 5, 2, 3 (or any bad stars falls). This is based on the `Exception Principle.' Where it is better to focus on `exceptions' and if they do happen i.e. 5, 2 and 3 do take precaution! For the layperson, usually no further cures are needed as the 20-year and yearly stars cures are sufficient for analysing a sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jo, The key thing to remember about the Eight House Theory is that the more one spents time at a good sector the better. Even if the sector is a good sector but, one does not spent time at, thus, it does `not apply' i.e. there is no beneifical effect on a person. Under the Flying Star Theory, most importantly, although it is your loss or legal problems area, you have to check the elements at that sector e.g. the mountain / water star and the base number to see if there are any imbalances. If there are imbalances, one has to cure it. Once this is done, in general we have balanced that sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear John, It would be good if North Double 7's is at the main entrance. If this is the living room water element would help the double 7's (metal) element flow. The double 7 metals would already be of use to destroy the #3 wood. And a good combination of the harmonious productive cycle of Metal -> Water -> Wood combinations can be considered here. However, it should not be activated if this is not the living room area or other rooms e.g. back area of the house. Since your wife is a Strong Water person, usually balance should be created first, to offset the Strong Water e.g. personal self with say `fire' e.g. wearing red. Since fire is not beneficial for a Strong E…

Dear Angelina, When the proposed solution is to make use of wood to destroy and control earth: 1. If it is the living room, you can use `wood' elements like a potted plant = wood element or use a decorative object made of wood at this location. 2. If it is in the bedroom, you can consider placing a side table and on it a wooden decorative item or a `wooden' lamp. Dear Elena, Yes, it is quite understandable that because it is a small bathroom, most likely plants would not be able to thrive in such an area. To `activate' wood, yes, painting it green would be sufficient in such a situation. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, It is hard to say whether the house is `good or bad' unless you get a Feng Shui Consultant to view the House. There is alot of consideration in analysising the house. For example, it has to be based on the Shapes and Form of the surrounding houses, the house etc... You have also to check if the house suits the person. At the same time a Flying Star Chart has to be drawn up to location any sha qi etc.. Frankly, a house `tainted' by being used to be a Meat factory is in my opinion not a real `worry' because:- 1. The worst cases are those that are `gruesome' eg. mass murders, suicide (you can imagine what I mean). 2. Usually, the total destruction of the factory and rebu…

Dear Anon, There are many debates over this issue. It is stated that usually the reigning period will control the stars, this means that star 5 in period 5 would be good. However, in some debate, it is stated that for period 5 which is a center Gua or not one of the eight directions it should be replaced by another trigram of from one of the official Eight Trigrams. In another debate, a proposed solution by using the I-Ching was recommended. So far as you can tell this is all yet to be proven so well, we have to take the traditional, that the period 5 should be represented by one of the Eight Trigram rather than 5 itself. Anyway, we will not encounter that for a long time…

  16. Dear Anon, I suggest you wait until it pasts 5 Feb 2000 where the official Lunar New Year for year 2000 starts as the current Chinese Lunar Year is still 1999. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Yang Ming, 1. For HDB apartments, it is relatively quite easy because majority of the apartments were built either under Period 6 or (today) Period 7. 2. If the apartment you are reviewing is built anytime between 1984 to 2003, then it does not matter if it was built in 2001 and completed in 2002 (this year). Therefore, most or all new HDB apartments should be considered as under Period 7. For older apartments built before Period 7 ie. 1983 or below, do check if there were any major renovations done between 1984 to-date. If so, the apartment would most likely be a Period 7 unit. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Mr. Lee, I just got married in nov 2005 and now my husband and I are planning to build a new house for us to live. I was born on Feb 26, 1973 (about 2PM +7 time) and my husband was born on May 27, 1973 (not sure about time). According to our kwa number, we're completely opposite although we're born in the same year. Mine is 9 and his is 6. And according to the fenghshui house advice, his best house direction is South, and mine is Northwest. What should I do to decide which one is best for our main door facing? Our land is located facing North, and planning either putting the Main door facing North or West. Is it advisable? Coz we have opposite kwa. My husband and I ar…

  20. Dear Anon, You should take into consideration your current symptoms instead of (from) the Pillars of Destiny. What is the reason for this? This is because, Pillars of Destiny maps out our heaven luck from the time we are born. The Pillars of Destiny concept is thus suppose to map out our "Yin and Yang" at the time of our birth. However, if one understands Pillars of Destiny clearly, it also `mentions' that what was mapped out in our birth can be changed. It can be changed mainly due to our environment and education, our experiences etc... For example, when a child was born, he has more Yin elements than Yang elements. Yin elements usually implies more abstract e.g. artis…

  21. Is my Period 8 house still lucky from 2024 till 2043? Period 8 N2 & N3 Better luck under Period 9. 1. Generally, this house will enjoy better luck from 2024 till 2043 as by then the frontage at North has the auspicious current prosperity WS #9 at it's frontage. 2. Equally good if either the Master bedroom or the Living Room is at NE. 3. If bedroom is at NW, need to disarm #2 = sickness with #5 = misfortune/sickness. 4. Good also if dining or living room / bedrooms located at West &/or SW = #1 coming prosperity wealth star. N2 & N3 TEMPLATE SAMPLE 1 1. From 2024 till 2043, Current Prosperity Wealth luck is…

Dear Anon, Firstly, it is good to understand the meaning of `facing star'. It is the same meaning as the `water star'. Here, one can visualise that when we face a position, it is best to have an unobstructed view. If we understand this, than a `water star' or if we have a water position e.g. a pond or pool infront of us, it is `relatively' flat and is equivalent of the Four Symbolic Animals concept's `Bird or Phoneix' flying infront of us as there is a clear space. In the living room or centre, it is best that there is clear space. Unlike the `mountain star' where it can be represented by a wall, this provides a `solid backing'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Please read below:- This is a very good question:- Whether a tragic event would happen or not, depends very much on how bad the situation is. You see how tragic events happens is when there is a compounded series of sha qi which is working against a person. Say for example, in his Pillars if he is destined that during a certain year, events in the environment does not favour him. In addition, his house has an inauspicious star which flies into the sector. Which again does not favour him. Also, maybe there are some shapes and form influences which also bring in additional sha qi. If say under this situation, a bad event is bound to happen. Unless of course, the pe…

Hi, Actually, activating the mountain star or water star does not bring about say mountain star earth or water star water. The purpose is that when there is an auspicious star, by activating it, you active the auspicious influence it brings about. What you should be considered is to ensure that the bad stars are controlled, then activating any mountain star is good. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, In my opinion, No, it is not very accurate to mention that the pyramid shape are considered very yin just because there are instances of the huge pyramids " which are home of the dead ". There are a few points here:- 1. What you are mentioning is solely on the pyramids e.g. in Egypt for the `dead'. Here, it is not necessarily true since each pyramid is made of huge blocks of stones or earth. This is considered Yang. 2. We cannot relate the `dead' with the pyramid shape. In Feng Shui, symbolism is important and as most users are aware, the pyramid shape is considered of the Fire Element i.e. pointed object. It is advantages for a builder to construct a building after …
