Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by user283850,

Hi, Please read below:- Our advice to all users is to be careful of such general tips. Although the theory used to derive this is based on Flying Star for 1999. However, without flying star of the birth chart of the house, this is as good as a static cures. As good as the static Eight Association without any personalisation. You would be better off not doing anything. If you take this as correct, this means that everyone should hang a wind chime in the south? What if the stars in that sector of the house actually destroys the inauspicious 5 already? We have seen many times when users unknowingly put wind chimes because of such general tips, they end up with more pro…

  3. Dear Jack, Please see below:- Priority should go to using the Yearly Star report. Thus from to 5 Feb 2000 to 23 Jan 2001, use METAL to destroy and control WOOD. Since, the yearly chart is always available, one should use this instead of the 20 year Flying Chart. From 24 Jan 2001 to 11 Feb 2002, try to check the Yearly chart next year and use this instead of the 20 year Flying Chart. Use the Yearly chart solution i.e. Wood. Do let me know if you need any further advise. Many Thanks for making it easy for me to understand your situation and taking the time to draft your mail:) Regards, Cecil

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Facing and Sitting directions 1.1. When applying the Flying Star Feng Shui; the first consideration are these two factors; in particular: the facing direction. 1.2. Thus, the most common approach under Flying Star is; firstly, find out what is the star at the "mouth" or = facing direction of a home. 1.3. Thus, in general; a home facing NE has the auspicious #1. This brings some auspiciousness. But as #1 is considered as the future (future) prosperity star; it is slower to realise for that year. 1.4. A home facing NW; would have the #8 at the frontage. 2. Thus, it especially depends on the facing direction. 3. Therefore, under the…

Next year, do take note of #5 at NW. And in particular #3 (the quarrelsome star at SE) 2014 Flying Star Forecast North 5 9 7 6 4 2 1 8 3 South Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at East Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at North-West Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at South-East Education/Romance Star this year is at Center Grand Duke this year is South, 180 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is North. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict.

Dear Ben, Thank you for your frank suggestion. 1. At this time, we have no intention yet to sell any Feng Shui products. 2. The reason being we want to focus more providing learning resources and quality consultation services both Free and paid. 3. Despite the fact that selling Feng Shui products can be lucrative. However, we do not want our website to lose it's focus. 4. Maybe, in the future, for the sake of supporting users with the proper items; we will probably look at more useful cures such as the six coins, ba gua or windchime. 5. Meanwhile, for those who really cannot find authentic items, but really need our help to do so, we can try to source the item and sent…

    1. Yes, if one replace a new roof, it is said that the house changes to a new birth date. 2. However, please take note of the following:- 2.1 The main Flying Star Theory uses 20 year period for analysing the birth chart of a house. Thus any house build between 1984 to 2003 is considered a Period 7 house. 2.2 Therefore, since we are now within 1984 to 2003; changing the roof makes no difference to a house will still be considered born under Period 7. The difference is only when a house birth chart is other than Period 7. Therefore, a house born under Period 4, 5 or 6 will have it's birth chart changed e.g. in 2002 when the roof has been changed. And will take on the Perio…

Wonder if the room occupant'sKua is2, will using metal as a balance for yellow 5 also weaken the occupant? Also if the room is M5-B2-W9, and the occupant's Kua is 2, what are therecommanded solutions? Thanks, dontknowmind

In my opinion; such adjectives could be used for such a situation: 1. "At the mercy" 2. "No more buffer" 3. "Borderline case" or "Scraped through" 4. "Dicy" 5. This one more positive: "Optimistically hopeful" 5.1 Why? Due to time dimensions; Month, Day, Hour, Minute.. and where additional "FRIENDS" such as stars #5, #2 and #9 flies into that sector... then how to honestly call it "still auspicious?"... 5.2 Sometimes... one could even subsitute: "still auspicious" to "on the fringe of turning bad"

These are some of the considerations: 1. Yes, most Geomancers would have to agree that the refigeration is considered as the metal element. The rationale is that it is always "closed" most of the time. And in such a state; it is usually a boxed up "metallic" item. So far, no one has yet to leave the fridge door open all the time unless .... 2. Nowadays, there are designer fridge that uses tempered glass. In theory, glass especially tempered glass = metal element. 3. Thus, the bigger the fridge e.g. two huge doors; considered more the metal element especially in the kitchen. 4. Based on logic your statement is acceptable.

Hello, our front door has MS 5, WS3 and base star 3 (with the 7 yearly!). After reading quite a few postings on your website, I immediately removed my earth sculptures I had there and also removed 2 plants I had there also. Please tell me what cures I can use here? We all in my family use this door and after 3 years living in this home, we are sick, have had accidents and lost my job....I would like to focus on one thing at a time and the front entrance is my first concern. Would a windchime here be good? Any other cures would be very appreciated.

Dear Anon, Generally, Eight Aspiration / Eight House / Flying Star are part of what is known as the compass school of feng shui. 1. Eight Aspiration where the directions for the various sectors are always fixed based on the bagua direction is the least important of the many concepts. 2. Eight House is more personalised thatn Eight Aspiration where each person depending on the year of birth, will have a certain 4 good and 4 bad directions. This helps you determine whether a house or sector of a home generally suits you or not. If a house has excellent feng shui but it doesn't suit you then, you get very little luck from the house itself. 3. Flying Star is something lik…

Dear Chee Tiong, For the 20 Year Flying Star chart, in this period ie. Period 7, one should use 7 in the centre. For other charts i.e. Yearly, Monthly and/or Daily chart, it depends on the Period computation for that particular Year, Month or daily charts. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Julie, I hope I did not mis-interpret your question. If not, please post a clarification. Under any period, #8's and #9's come in equal (numbers or amount). More importantly is where the #8 and #9 `land', combine or scatter within the Flying Star chart. Perhaps, are you refering to the fact that under Period 5, #8's and #9 come in nicely (auspicious). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, It is hard to say whether the house is `good or bad' unless you get a Feng Shui Consultant to view the House. There is alot of consideration in analysising the house. For example, it has to be based on the Shapes and Form of the surrounding houses, the house etc... You have also to check if the house suits the person. At the same time a Flying Star Chart has to be drawn up to location any sha qi etc.. Frankly, a house `tainted' by being used to be a Meat factory is in my opinion not a real `worry' because:- 1. The worst cases are those that are `gruesome' eg. mass murders, suicide (you can imagine what I mean). 2. Usually, the total destruction of the factory and rebu…

Hi, Apologise for the late reply, as this mail is sent anonymous and does not reach my mailbox. Please read below:- The problem with Flying Star, is that it is complex, and not a secret. The complexity that it can be used and the level of detailed reading that can be done by it is what makes it difficult to understand. But that is also why it is so powerful. For beginners or those looking for an easy path, the Eight House was created for that purpose. But because of that it can only do that much. That depends on the object themselves and what they are being used for. If you look at it, based on feng shui, what is good for one person is not necessary good for the …

Hi, Thanks for bring up this intresting but tragic story. It is based on the concept of " Priorities or Importance ". I have mentioned that in Feng Shui there are priorities. Some users after reading certain books on Life or Eight Aspirations felt that this is the most important thing to do. But I have clarified that this should not be done or if it is done, other Feng Shui principles MUST be considered First. For example, as you have mentioned, if the house is at a Y junction, the most ideal situation is to move out. If one stays in the house, no matter how much cures we seemingly try to cure within the interior of the house, it will not be as effective. You have highlig…

Further to what I had mentioned, even if you become the "King" of Feng Shui and try to outlaw 6 coins, what happens? 1. There will always be people selling a set of six coins tied with red string. 2. Many Feng Shui practitioners may recommend the placement of six coins, and some even asks their client(s) to place a row of six coins above the main door. As these practitioners perceive that Feng Shui has time dimensions and there is bound to be #5 or #2 or even #3 "flying" to a certain sector be it in that month, day, hour or minute. 3. In the past, when China closed it's doors to exports, what happened? Many trades person migrate overseas e.g. towards Thailand, Malaysia…

Dear Carrie, 1. Double 7s is ideal if it is your main entrance door but not other doors. 2. Water positions are usually activated in the living room or outside the frontage of the house. 3. Have you confirmed that there is indeed a water or mountain star. As these cannot suddenly `popup' from any sector. They have to be identified and at the sector. 4. Even if there is a water star, you may not be able to activate it in the kitchen. Please refer to above Para 2 for the best locations to activate a water position. Remember that in a kitchen, one is playing with fire and it does not make `sense' to activate a water position in a kitchen. It can be dangerous to play with `wa…

    1. There is the "physical" Feng Shui items e.g. for activating a mountain such as a real wall or a brick or a rock or even a safe can represent it. 2. Another category of Feng Shui is known as "SYMBOLISM". Thus, the mountain picture you mentioned symbolises a mountain. Even a picture of the undulating great wall of China picture may act as a "mountain". It does not have to be a REAL mountain. 3. Thus, to activate a water position, the most common traditional method is a painting such as this attached 9 fishes on each side "meeting" each other.... Thus, it symbolises "a metal-water" feature.
