Hi, Feng Shui is based on priorities and purpose. In terms of priorities, one should look at the 20 Year Flying Star Chart of the overall sector. If it is auspicious, this is good. The Yearly Flying Star Chart does not look at the two stars but simply the base number and a star number. This gives a feel of the yearly chart. Now, since you are aware of the Flying Star Chart, as you have mentioned, you looked at your Eight House Chart. Since the sector is not auspicious for you, you should avoid spending too much time at the sector. But one good thing is that it is a good sector under the Flying Star i.e. it may be a good sector for another person. Applying and analysing F…

Further to what I had mentioned; the key thing is (within one's control) AVOID: any disturbance at East is the safest bet to ride over the "EAST sector during 2011". Thus norenovations: including drilling, hacking ofwalls andre-painting at East.

Dear Rose, Yes, I am particularly impressed with your keen observation which if we look at it, belongs more to Yang. As a more `Yin' person I feel is less likely to `notice' such errors. Robert will credit you and privately e-mail you for a second credit to allow you to generate the two directions. As for a person who is more Yin or more Yang, this belongs to a very exciting field of other Chinese Yin and Yang theories which include food. For example, cooking techniques e.g. smoking fish etc.., baking stewing and deepfrying are more towards Yang and uncooked food, steaming are more Yin. Chinese culture is vast and later on, we will also go into such areas and even I-Ching…

Dear Peter, Ideally, the best mountains are: 1. Firstly, under external environment, there should be a good hill or if it is further away a real mountain behind the house. Examples, are those of the mountain `protection' found in books on FS history. For example, books that describe how a location or city was chosen. 2. Thus, we should not only be looking at our own houses but on a larger picture, on such external environment. 3. If the above is fullfilled, in general, it is considered a good location .. i.e. overall prosperity for the people living there. 4. As to a home, it is difficult to quantify the exact earth i.e. 0.5 metre high etc... An investigation or observati…

Dear Vivian, Apologise for the late reply. Was checking the forum for any unanswered mails and this message was found. In fact, the issue is not solely about specific numbers; rather, it pertains to the inter-relationships among the elements and the strengths of each star in relation to one another. This process is quite intricate when determining the relationships between two stars and becomes even more complicated when analyzing three stars. Nevertheless, the analysis does not typically conclude there, as it is necessary to cross-reference this information with yearly data and subsequently with monthly data, culminating in a five-star analysis. For a two-…

Explanation of Flying Star Charts (Xuan Kong Fei Xing) ========================================== There are three charts available (especially in the Report Management) a. 20-Year Flying Star Chart b. Yearly Flying Star Chart c. Monthly Flying Star Chart What are the difference and which one should I use? a. 20-Year Flying Star Chart This is the basic chart which you should be using to find your best house or office. Why, this is because for the entire 20-year period, the stars on the chart will show you the stars that is influencing your house if it is built or had a last major renovation. This influences of this chart will not change even if you proceed to the next peri…

Dear Heidi, The hour pillars will provide 1 additional pillars to the day, hour and month. And it will to some extend have some effect on the final analysis of the strong or weak element. But that is the main key influence. It does not influence the Month or year pillar all. And since it does not affect that two, which happens to be the deciding factor of the 10-yearly and yearly analysis. It has very little impact in terms of the final analysis, unless the element of hour pillar is determined to the change the basic element strength. Pillars of Destiny was designed with the concept that it helps to chart your heavenly luck. And all that is really needed is the DAY, MON…

Dear Cecil, My south sector has 5 as the MS , 2 as the base and 9 as the WS. I have a toilet here plus a wash basin. We are renovating the house. Is it safe to remove the wash basin. Can the bathroom be done in blue? The toilet does not cover the whole South sector, so can I activate the WS 9, where there is no toilet? Thankyou.

Dear Aaron, Aaron Ng wrote: I noticed that one of your Earth Luck articles says that a common leak is due to the toilet being near the centre of the flat. This is a rather common now-a-days unfortunately. However, what you should also consider is that this is just one of the flaws available. A house is likely to have some flaws as it is almost difficult to find one without a single flaw (even if you build it yourself). So as long as:- 1. The toilet is not directly at the center point, it should still be ok.If this is the case, try to keep the toilet seat cover and toilet door closed when not in use. Also, another way is try to trap the wealth before it leaks buy hangi…

Dear Rose, Can you do another compass reading again to confirm whether it is N1 or NW3. It is essential that you get the direction correct. Hope you understand. If it is NW3, we can always reset the credit and allow you to re-gen the report. Hi, Actually, activating the mountain star or water star does not bring about say mountain star earth or water star water. The purpose is that when there is an auspicious star, by activating it, you active the auspicious influence it brings about. What you should be considered is to ensure that the bad stars are controlled, then activating any mountain star is good. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What do you mean "Triple combination fulfills the solution" ? I hope you can enlighten me on this special requirement. Simply means that the 3 elements form a compatible element flow to control or stop the inauspicious star. ie star 2 and 5, will form a triple combination if the 3rd star is say Star 6. where star 6 helps to exhaust/control the star 2/5. dear Cecil, i searched through your website for more detailed information on mountain and water stars but i'm still confused. could you please explain further on how do i determine if these stars are present in the different locations of the grid based on the flying stars readings, or could you please direct me to the site where i can learn more about mountain and water stars? based on the flying star report, by next month, our flat will be having 3 SAME NUMBERS for base, mountain & water stars on each location (e.g., S will have all 2, E - 5, N - 2, W - 8, etc.). I understand that multiple 2s, 3s, 4s & 5s are very inauspicious and need to be cured by 6 metal coin…

Dear Margit, --- This is a recent message, I posted under the Free Advice Forum in relation to selling of house. It also applies to selling of business -- 1. If you have the chance to read some of the messages that were posted on this issue, it is my opinion that it is difficult to depend on Feng Shui to sell a house. 2. This is because: a. The Flying Star Theory is meant to analyse a house's birth chart. b. The Eight House is to see how suitable a house is to the owner and where possible try to stay at a good location. Within these two theories, there are no direct relationship between selling a house and Feng Shui. 3. The only "relationship", I feel is of use is if the …

There is a stove at this location and it is impossible to move it elswhere, is there any recomendation that can control or at least limit the fire burning the metal effect? Please advice.

Dear Waldo, First of would like to apologise for the late reply. It had been a busy three week or me. BTW, if you are unware, there is an additional yearly/monthly for the flying star. The analysis will be later on, but ca=n use make use of it:) Just got time to analyse the stars for you. Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, February 03, 1999 10:07 PM Subject: Unfortunate chart? Having base star 6, 7 would not be very auspicious. Star 5 is a misfortun=e star. 7 & base star 6 actually represents a clash, which may mean a great deal =of bad luck shar created. Pos…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: For a house constructed in period 7, the energy of star 7 will be strongest during period 7, but becomes weaker and weaker after period 7, even though the house did not undergo any renovation work to move it from period 7 to period 8. Is this correct? Yes, this is correct. This is because as you enter into period 8, the star 7 becomes your fading prosperity. Sothough your house chart may still be period 7, the luck will slowly fade away. Anonymous wrote: During period 7, usable stars are 1 and 4. For a house constructed in period 7, should these remain as usable stars during period 8 (for that matter, all future periods) assuming that the hou…

One can still use wind chimes within these sectors other than the following:- 1. Try to use a 6-HOLLOW rod wind chime. Avoid using solid rods. 2. So long as there are no Chinese temples or cemetry along the NE or SW "line".

Dear Cecil, I have a similar problem regarding main entrance. We frequently use our garage door to get in and out of our split entry home. I don't know how to measure/determine direction of my main door as this garage door is downstairs. My other "entrance door" used more in the summer and to receive guests is upstairs with the rest of the living quarters (downstairs only has a workroom, washer dryer room and a 2 car garage). I can measure the upstairs entrance door which is 245, but don't know how to do it with the garage door. How do I use upstairs' center of the house to measure the door from downstairs? Second question is now that I found out both my husband and I are…

Dear Fanny, Your house is "Sum to Ten" house, the Mountain star combines with Base star equals to ten. This type of chart creates auspicious health, relationships and fertility. In your facing Palace, there is a Mountain star 5 which is untimely star for Period 8, hence you cannot use Yang water to activate Water star 8. Yin water is preferred in this Palace. Moreover, the excessive Earth elements in facing Palace control Water. There are excessive Earth elements in your facing Palace, use big Metal to exhaust the Earth elements. Hope this information helps you. Thank you. Best regards always, David

Dear Clarence, 1. It is good for you to clarify with your friend further on what your friend meant by `reverse' house. 2. In my opinion, or my guess is that `reverse' may refer to the frontage of the house. Here, the frontage of the house e.g. where it looks at the bay or water, may for some homes be the `frontage'. But, it does not mean that when a house turns a certain age, it suddenly has a reverse frontage. Warmest Regards, Cecil
