Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by Emilio_Alberto_CA,

Further to my earlier mail, please note that it should instead be:- No, re-hanging some pictures or moving some plants is not considered `renovations' in assessing the Flying Star date of birth of a house. Thanks. Cecil

Hi, Please read below:- Our advice to all users is to be careful of such general tips. Although the theory used to derive this is based on Flying Star for 1999. However, without flying star of the birth chart of the house, this is as good as a static cures. As good as the static Eight Association without any personalisation. You would be better off not doing anything. If you take this as correct, this means that everyone should hang a wind chime in the south? What if the stars in that sector of the house actually destroys the inauspicious 5 already? We have seen many times when users unknowingly put wind chimes because of such general tips, they end up with more pro…

  4. Hi, There are a few factors to consider:- 1. There are many situations where a house has `perfect' Feng Shui based on the Flying Star or Xuan Kong Fei Xing calculations. But unfortunately, the house is simply not suited to the owners. For example under the Eight House Theory, it is the death or disaster line of the owner. Perhaps, he/she is sleepin g in the room with the disaster etc.. bad influences. 2. Sometimes, it is true that the House has bad Feng Shui especially under the Shapes and Form e.g. T or Y junction etc.... My advise to those who are not Feng Shui experts is perhaps to get a qualified Feng Shui Practioner to look over the house and provide an assessment. A…

Dear Chris, Please read below:- Please note that for flying star there is such difference between:- - 20-year flying star chart - yearly flying star chart - monthly flying star chart - daily flying star chart - & etc. Yes, no doubt that when you move from one period to the next range the flying star will change. i.e. if a building is built in period 7 (1984-2003) it will have a period 7 (20-year flying star chart). i.e. if a building is built in period 8 (2004-2023) it will have a period 8 (20-year flying star chart). However, the 20-year chart will not change unless you perform a major renovation. This means that if you have a house in period 6 and there has be…

  6. Dear Helen, 1. From your email address, I noticed that you are from Singapore. You should not have a problem finding a Feng Shui practitioner in Singapore. However, I understand that some FS practitioners in Singapore practise Shapes and Form plus the Eight House only. 2. Ideally, you should get a Feng Shui practitioner where possible skilled in at least the three key areas: 2.1 Shapes and Form 2.2 Eight House 2.3 Flying Star Para 2.1 is important as Feng Shui audit cannot be done in isolation. This is where some FS practitioners simply go into e.g. Flying Star and `nothing else'. If you have noticed there are many `live' examples of users here who, may have Shapes and Fo…

I do agree that it is sometimes very difficult to find out the year which the building built. Especially those old building here in Glasgow. (The one I lived in at the moment!) 9. Dear Anon, 1. In the event of a significant renovation, the house typically transitions to a Period 7 house, which spans from 1984 to 2003. 2. For individuals residing in the same home for an extended period, particularly from Period 6, it is advisable to create a Flying Star Chart based on Period 6 for reference. 3. Generally, the house is expected to become a 'Period 7' house. Nevertheless, there may be instances where the birth chart from Period 6 still closely aligns with the current situation. Therefore, it is important to consider Paragraph 3, especially during the initial two years following the renovation. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jo Yong, In general, 1. For the Flying star numbers, the most important point is to check all three numbers i.e. the base no.; the mountain # and the water # to see if they are in balance or out of balance. If it is out of balance, a cure would be needed e.g. ` 6 coins'. 2. Based on the 81 - Interpretations, mountain # and water # can be associated with an interpretation. Here, it is good to be aware of this when looking at the sector particularly if it is a place where one may spent time at. For example, where it happens to be the bed. 3. Usually, under the 20 year Flying Star analysis, a sector could be out of balance. We should then look at the yearly star to find…

  12. Frequently Asked Question for House Number Report. ............................................. Q. Can this report be used for a non-apartment unit? A. No. This report is ONLY meant for unit number in a flat. This report is supposed to help find a good unit among the same design of a particular house. This means that say when we use the Flying Star to analyse the house and found that this particular layout and house is good, we need to see which level is better. As each level has a different level of auspicious and inauspicious influence. Thus, when finding a good unit, we need to firstly find a house based on Flying Star Report. Next, is to find the best influ…

Dear Heidi, The hour pillars will provide 1 additional pillars to the day, hour and month. And it will to some extend have some effect on the final analysis of the strong or weak element. But that is the main key influence. It does not influence the Month or year pillar all. And since it does not affect that two, which happens to be the deciding factor of the 10-yearly and yearly analysis. It has very little impact in terms of the final analysis, unless the element of hour pillar is determined to the change the basic element strength. Pillars of Destiny was designed with the concept that it helps to chart your heavenly luck. And all that is really needed is the DAY, MON…

Dear Anon, I just remembered another parallel example. Can we say that the instruction manuals for all cars / vehicle are the same? 1. Firstly there are automatic and manual (clutch driven cars). Can we then, read the instruction manual of an automatic car and then apply it to a manual (clutch driven car). Obviously not. 2. For those who have driven Japanese cars vs European / Continental (US) cars, there are differences in the wind screen wipers and indicators. 3. In my country where we drive (right handed), in a Japanese car, the wind screen wipers are controlled by our left hand. While the directional indicators are controlled by the right hand. This differs with an Eu…

Dear Ben, Please see below:- And it is more pratical to look out for poison arrows or sha qi that can `overcome' our home. After doing this, it would be acceptable. As for using quite a lot of "cross" normally, I personally feel that it is not really necessary. More importantly, the altar table is positioned at a strategic or good location and here you can place the necessary items on this table (can do). But nevertheless, if you and your family (don't mind) or feel pretty comforted by doing it; I think it is OK. It is best to understand or differentiate threats or `perceived threats'. The `rule-of-thumb or the question asked is: "Are we going to be `hit' b…

Dear Cecil, Thanks for the remarkably fast reply. It's marvellous!!! Thanks for the pointer on cures and enhancement. Coming back to the question regaring the 747 combination of the main entrance. Is the 4 regarded as bad element in this combination especially when the year element is also 4 making it double? What can I do about it in this instance? And if there's mountain star present in this same sector, what is best to take advantage and enhance it? My other confusion is if I already apply cures/enhancement looking at say yearly chart, what's the main purpose of a monthly star chart? what exactly should I be looking at? I suppose is to detect any bad combination of say…

Dear November, Based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is a much better idea to have the screen partition at location marked `A' instead of at present location. This is to make the living room and dining room into a more rectangular shaped layout. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cecil Thanks for your reply. Correct me if I wrong. If the sector has very good flying stars but it not my best sector or bad sector in 8 mansion, I shouldnt spend time there. And if in my best sector there are bad stars, is it right say to cure it and can spend time there. As to my second question earlier about the flying stars in the west and NW sector, I only need a general advise as to which sector to place my main door. Thanks Alan --- flying-star Listmanager wrote:

Dear All, 1. Attached please find another sample of the pie-chart method. 2. Under this example, one can clearly see each sector is `labelled' showing the sector of influence. 3. Overall, I personally prefer to apply the `pie-chart' method over the 9-grid method. 4. For example, one can even prepare a pie-chart frame and print it on a transparency. And this transparency can be placed on-top of say an A4 sized layout plan. - Very effective! Warmest Regards, Cecil
