Hi, I wonder why these two stars are considered so differently. Is it because 8-5 is considered different from 5-8 ? Why? Thanks

Hello friend, I am about to rent a house facing NW3 period 7 which forms the parent string formation in the house. The issue is that the toilet is in the center where star 8 resides. I have another toilet in the SE area so I was thinking of keeping the toilet in the center only for showering and washing and using the toilet in the SE area, then after 4 years when we enter period 9 I can use again the toilet in the center since star 9 becomes prosper.

Is my Period 8 house still lucky from 2024 till 2043? Period 8 N1 Less lucky under Period 9. As formerly double #8's at it's frontage. 1. From 2024 onwards, North previously with Double Auspicious #8's will become faded or gone prosperity at the frontage. 2. Thus generally the home will be less lucky under Period 9. 3. Check your layout to find where are the #9's located. 3.1. For example, South = Water Star #9 will by then usually be wasted at the rear of the unit. And sometimes this is the kitchen area. 4. The Mountain Star #9 at SW hopefully could at least be at the front door. And hopefully not the yard side of the home. 5…

Dear Glyn, Sorry for the late reply, I was going through the list of messages and found this still unanswered. It should be ok, but just remember don't need to excessively activate cures. Most of the cures which Cecil has help you should be sufficient. We do not want to over do it as too much may cause some cures or enhancers to clash with each other. Just apply moderately. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Waldo, As the saying goes, a little knowlege is a dangerous thing. When we follo=w an advice e.g. on say a Feng Shui procedure, follow the advice in total n=ot piecemeal i.e. a bit of this add to abit of that and then come to a conclusion. Here, if you follow the advice in total, and if you feel that something i=s " not right " feel free to ask the person giving the advice. This is a bett=er approach as if you need more information and if the party can be contacte=d, do check with him / her the rationale for doing it. -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, February 03, 1999 10:37 PM Sub…

Don't worry, remember that the period is determined from the year the house was built or last had the major renovation? This means that even if you are in Period 8 but you did not make any major renovation to your house (say the year it was built was in 1990 - Period 7), your chart will still be for period 7 and not 8, thus, you will still get a very good double 7 chart. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Benedict and Elizabeth, You can actually, logon to www.geomancy-online.com and " Sign-up " for a Free account. There are many Feng Shui Tools available. One of the most useful free tool is the Eight House Template which both of you can create for yourselves and understand which locations / directions are best for each of you. Perhaps, you may like to stop by at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm This page will show you the same model but with detailed explanations like what to do with the Eight House chart etc... As for whether it is a good year to build a house, this is not exactly ' Feng Shui ' but more related to Chinese Astrology where many want to find a good…

Hi, The base number is based on the Luo Shu Grid, i.e. on the Magic Tortise Formula : http://www.geomancy.net/fs/tortise.htm where the base number in the centre is the Period number i.e. for Period 7, 1984 to 2003, the base number in the centre remains at 7 while the rest of the base numbers `move' in relation to this number to form a `sigma'. This sign is the same as that of the sigma of the Jews... For the course, I am trying to revise the course materials and hopefully it will start in two months time:) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Chris, Usually, the effect would be on the breadwinner. However, there are many other variables involved also. E.g. if both parties are working, if the partner's Ba Zhi (or the house) is not suited to the partner e.g. her death or disaster line. Dear Chris, Apologise for the late reply. Was checking through the forum and found these unanswered. That section of the Flying Star is pretty complex because each of the month, day, hour has different condition it must fulfill. Such as which month in which they fall under. And if you are doing the analysis for the male or female personal flying star, the gender say male goes in ascending order and female in descending order. There are also one set of calculation based on Xia, and another for the lunar. So each has a slightly different for determinining the month, day, hour, minute and second. Normally, very few use this for house, as they normally go until month sho…

Firstly, I like to establish that the NW and South you are referring to is not on the same topic as the Grand Duke. 2. What Lillian Too is referring is based on the Flying Star Theory. 3. The period referred to is this Lunar year and it starts from 16 February 1999 to 4 February 2000 (and not at the end of 31 December 1999). 4. What she has done was to draw a Flying Star Chart for the Year 1999 (Year of the Rabbit). This is what the Flying Star Chart she is referring to:- North = Star 6, A…

Dear Rose, Can you do another compass reading again to confirm whether it is N1 or NW3. It is essential that you get the direction correct. Hope you understand. If it is NW3, we can always reset the credit and allow you to re-gen the report. Dear Betty, Sorry, can you clarify what you mean by a `Fire' house i.s. I suppose the main entrance is South facing? or are you refering to the Roof and thus consider it a Fire house. A hexagonal shaped fountain is symbolic of the water element and it is acceptable to place the fountain on the lefthand side of the house. As for the number of kois, 9 is acceptable (even if you are not considering the number of kois as equivalent to your personal element e.g. 9 fishes represent the metal element). In general, without considering your personal element and strength, the above looks ok to me. Warmest Regards, Cecil -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients …

Dear Glyn, There are no known written documentation on the use of water beds. However, I remembered one or two FS Practioners/Masters are not infavour of the use of the water bed. Perhaps, this is a general comment by them. In my opinion, I am not infavour of a water bed. Not sure why... maybe I have not slept on one before. However, do take note that a circular bed is considered not auspicious or two single beds joined together. Dear Jason, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Friday, June 25, 1999 10:23 AM Subject: Flying Star 'Numbering' Flying Star is the most complicated theory compared to other theories such as Eight House or other theories. It also contains lots of various conditions which you need to understand before you can analyse the theories properly. It is because of this complexity, that we have converted our knowledge of Flying Star into a computerized Flying Star module to help users easily apply this theory into a person's life. Hi, Apologise for the late reply, as this mail is sent anonymous and does not reach my mailbox. Please read below:- The problem with Flying Star, is that it is complex, and not a secret. The complexity that it can be used and the level of detailed reading that can be done by it is what makes it difficult to understand. But that is also why it is so powerful. For beginners or those looking for an easy path, the Eight House was created for that purpose. But because of that it can only do that much. That depends on the object themselves and what they are being used for. If you look at it, based on feng shui, what is good for one person is not necessary good for the …

Hi, Please read below:- It is not only the years, but the direction of the main door which determines whether a house is good or bad. The Eight House can only be used as a guide and is best to suit the breadwinner of the house. The other alternative is to trust your own personal instinct. Do you often have this kind of feeling that when you enter a certain house, you just do not feel comfortable? That is you own personal instinct. Which in most cases should be pretty ok. As I have always mentioned, the theories can do so far to help, what is more important you like the place, and then after you have selected the place, check it out with the various tools to help…

Hi, In order for a good audit for accessing an excellent house, the house should not only suit a person, it has to have good stars from the flying star, and a good exterior shape and form. Which in most cases is very difficult, which is why no matter how good a house, there is still bound to be some slightly not so good. There is where you have to apply a little cure or enhancement to remove that influences. The Main door, because your house can face another direction, but your main door is located in another location. Also when you perform an audit based on the house you are performing an audit for the entire building. Especially if this is an apartment or bui…

Hi, Please read below:- This is a very good question:- Whether a tragic event would happen or not, depends very much on how bad the situation is. You see how tragic events happens is when there is a compounded series of sha qi which is working against a person. Say for example, in his Pillars if he is destined that during a certain year, events in the environment does not favour him. In addition, his house has an inauspicious star which flies into the sector. Which again does not favour him. Also, maybe there are some shapes and form influences which also bring in additional sha qi. If say under this situation, a bad event is bound to happen. Unless of course, the pe…

Hi, In my opinion, No, it is not very accurate to mention that the pyramid shape are considered very yin just because there are instances of the huge pyramids " which are home of the dead ". There are a few points here:- 1. What you are mentioning is solely on the pyramids e.g. in Egypt for the `dead'. Here, it is not necessarily true since each pyramid is made of huge blocks of stones or earth. This is considered Yang. 2. We cannot relate the `dead' with the pyramid shape. In Feng Shui, symbolism is important and as most users are aware, the pyramid shape is considered of the Fire Element i.e. pointed object. It is advantages for a builder to construct a building after …
