Dear Ren, It is acceptable to place a water feature, here as the location based on Flying star has the water wealth (current prosperity WS#8). Try to take note of the following:- 1. Since the sector has bad #2 with #5, it is good (if you are rearing gold fishes) for: either 6 gold and 1 black or 7 gold and 1 black. 2. There is a high chance that several of the gold fishes may die (sacrificed) due to #5. (Acceptable for this). 3. Never use any pyramid shaped fish tank. 4. Since this sector is south, never use any stand (or legs) that are blue or (dark or light blue) stand for the fish tank. Black or golden stand is acceptable, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: R…

Dear Ren, Since your home is rectangular shaped, a square grid chart can be used, here. Frankly, there should not be a major issue if we use the square grid or pie chart method. What is more important for the 8 mansion is (try to forget) all the lines or square grid : and simply focus on trying to seat facing your "prosperity" or "excellent" sector. If you are a west group person, then try to face any of the two: prosperity or excellent direction. For an east group person, and if you have not already purchased your work table, can purchase a table that faces (tilted) south. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mr.Cecil Thank you very much for your opinion. It helps me bei my decision. I think you are right that the house period 6 is better. Our two children said that this house is like grandparent's house(which was built 1970) and they loved to be there. Our new house built 1991 they have never liked it( Facing E 1).So there we have experiencied a bad luck( health, fiancial problems, accident and etc.) A new house period 8 -we have felt it have not "spirits". Thank you very much again ! warmest regards helen

Dear Deoyani, 1. To the Chinese, we are very particular about feet facing the main door (or bedroom door). This is because, we call this the "coffin position" where, some still practise bringing the coffin into the home. And when the time is up for funeral ceremony, the coffin is moved with the feet first out of themain door. 2. For other races, if the above is not practised, this is not so bad. 3. Based on Commonsense approach to Feng Shui, many of us may not like (e.g. in an apartment or landed property) if we were to open the main door, let others view our entire body since our leg is facing the door. 4. The last resort is (if no choice is to) close the bedroom…

Dear Anon, To be honest, so far, if I am not wrongI cannot recall any Period 7 apartments that have both double #8's together at one sector. Although MS#8 or WS#8 does appear in different sectors but not double MS#8 with WS#8 for any of the 24 directions under Period 7. There are quite a few sectors under Period 8 that do have double #8's. Thus he did add any indication of what your facing direction is e.g. West 2 or East 2 etc.... Most likely the double #8's could refer to a possibility of changing the home to period 8? First and foremost, Feng Shui of any home is based on: location, location and location. The Flying Star numbers need to be read in conjuction with…

Dear Aaron Ng, Aaron Ng wrote: After dividing my house using the 8 house theory, I found one of the sectorsis split almost evenlybetween my master bedroom and another room. Since this is a favourable sector for me, does this mean that I should locate my bed in the part of the master bedroom where the favourable sector is? Yes, where the sector is split, we normally try to position the bed closer to the sector that is favourable to you. Or in cases we try to determine which sector covers the room the most. Then determine whether the room is suitable or not. But where it is very in between, then we try to locate like bed closer to the good sector. Also you can arrange you…

Dear Alvin, Alvin Chua wrote: From what you havementioned, does it mean that the 7 is still timely in a period 7 house even though we have entered into period 8 now? Until you fly the house to a period 8 house luck, the period 7 house will still retain the period 7 as the current luck period. However, star 7 will revert back to the robbery status while the luck will also start to fade as the current period 8 luck becomes stronger. Hope that helps. Dear Alex, Alex Chua Kim Soon wrote: Master, Ive found a nice house for me and my wife. The thing is both of us is kua8. The house faces South West. But my master bedroom location is in south. My bed head also can only be placed on the direction of the south east (south east wall in the bedroom) becoz other sides all very inconvenient. What should i do? Alex Please help to advise Generally, the house is suitable to you facing to you. Though the room isn't the best sector. It isn't considered ultimately the most suitable house. However, it is still considered a suitable house. So even if the room is disaster, it won't be too bad as you still get luck from the house facin…

Dear Alice, alice q wrote: According to the Eight House report, my husband's excellent direction is East. We saw a terrace house that has a North East facing, which is irritation for him. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has window facing NE and the room door SW (which is disaster for him). Would this house be bad for us is we were to buy it? This isn't the most suitable house for him as he is an East group person. Usually for East group person, the South or East facing house will be more suitable. However, NE facing house especially for Period 8 (2004-2023) has good Feng Shui luck but needs to have certain sector neutralised to prevent illness/sickness. Given that t…

Dear Tiong Tuan, ong tiong tuan wrote: If i m not gg to do any major renovation,it will still be under period 7.So is period 7 flying star chartstill applicable? If no, what shd i do? Generally, if you bought a period 7 house and do not do any major renovation, it is likely that the house will retain the period 7 house luck unless the previous owner have flown it over to new period. So sometimes this can be hard to say for sure. Of course, if not sure the best way is to always check if the current house luck suits the house or not. If it does, best to try to fly the house luck over to the new period. This will often eliminate any doubts you may have. ong tiong tuan wrot…

Dear Master Lee, Currently looking at a re-sale (Period 7) HDB walkup apt in Woodlands. Would like your advice on 2 issues: Q. How do we change Period 7 houses to Period 8 for HDB apts? Although, we can change a new door, redo the floor tiles, there are no "roofs" - what can we do in the renovation stage? This apt is on the 3 floor. From thebalcony (taken as the main facing of the apt NE2), one can see lots of greenery and trees and alsothe public swimming pool very nearby. Please refer to the attached Google Map for details. Q. Is the location of the swimming pool bad for the Fengshui of the house? If it is taken as being infront of the balcony (NE), then the Water St…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: For a house constructed in period 7, the energy of star 7 will be strongest during period 7, but becomes weaker and weaker after period 7, even though the house did not undergo any renovation work to move it from period 7 to period 8. Is this correct? Yes, this is correct. This is because as you enter into period 8, the star 7 becomes your fading prosperity. Sothough your house chart may still be period 7, the luck will slowly fade away. Anonymous wrote: During period 7, usable stars are 1 and 4. For a house constructed in period 7, should these remain as usable stars during period 8 (for that matter, all future periods) assuming that the hou…

Hi Mr. Lee, I just got married in nov 2005 and now my husband and I are planning to build a new house for us to live. I was born on Feb 26, 1973 (about 2PM +7 time) and my husband was born on May 27, 1973 (not sure about time). According to our kwa number, we're completely opposite although we're born in the same year. Mine is 9 and his is 6. And according to the fenghshui house advice, his best house direction is South, and mine is Northwest. What should I do to decide which one is best for our main door facing? Our land is located facing North, and planning either putting the Main door facing North or West. Is it advisable? Coz we have opposite kwa. My husband and I ar…

Dear Cecil, Thank you for answering my previous questions posted. My questions are: 1) I live in a bungalow and my bedrooms are at the front of the house which is towards a busy road. As I assume this is front facing how can I activate mountain stars for health when I have windows and it is front facing (yang)? Does this mean our health will suffer? 2) This therefore leaves me with kitchen/living room at the back which I assume I cannot activate water stars as at the back mountain stars need activating. Will we lose our wealth/fortune? Thank you

Dear Will Chang, Will Chang wrote: Dear Cecil, My question is kind of silly, however I'd appreciate if you could clarify my doubt. My house has narrow frontage and long length (8mx25m), runs East (facing) to West (sitting) exactly. I am trying to apply flying star method to the house floor plan, however big sectors such as East and West sectors dominate more than 60% of the house, while smaller ones such as North and South take less than 10% of the space. Eight mansion method divides the house into 9 rectangular sectors (# shape), while Flying Star method uses 8 sectors shaped like a gua (* shape). Which method is more appropriate for my house? So this method is rather flawed. However, for landed property, this may work to some extend. However, it may not be enough, because for landed property, it i…

Dear Vida, Traditionally, many Chinese homes or homes built in Singapore may consider "spilt-levels". The "spilt-levels" is very common for many homes and apartments built in the 1970's. Here, the idea is that the living room CAN be lower than the dining room. Not the other way around. Usually, this "spilt" is only between the living and dining. And other dining is suppose to be at the "back" area of the home. The kitchen and yard should also be if possible the same level or "slightly" higher than the kitchen is OK. Many Feng Shui practitioners do not like the idea of the living room higher than the dining. And conversely, the dining higher than the back yard / kitchen…
