Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)

Learn how to determine whether your house is good or bad

  1. Started by myfs_119195,

Dear SF Choe, Quote: Renovations included relocating 3 toilets/bathrooms, tearing down and creating some walls in all 3 floors, and extended tha back of house further by 5ft (2 storeys high and additional new 5ft roof added). Completely newly replaced were water piping, all the flooring, ceiling and electrical wiring. All in, I would say about 80% of the house was renovated. In general, the tearing down and creation of walls is as good as a major renovation as the Qi flow within the house is affected. As such the house will be deemed as a Period 8 house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  2. Cecil: I am very grateful for your advice and will contact Robert on this matter. Warmest regards and many blessings for this New Year. Mimi Casavantes

Dear Violet, Use this as a Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm For example: Ifa person is a Strong Metal, person. Then in terms ofelements, being strong metal, need: 1. Water to help draw out or reduce her Strong Metal element. 2. When water is increased, need wood to draw it out. 3. When wood is also increased, need fire to reduce it. Thus under the productive sequence: For a Strong element person, look at the Productive cycle chart and move forward 3 elements: Thus as mentioned above, if one is a Strong Metal, look forward three elements: Water, Wood and Fire are favourable to the Strong Metal person. The Destructive Cycle Act…

This isn't the most suitable house for him as he is an East group person. Usually for East group person, the South or East facing house will be more suitable. However, NE facing house especially for Period 8 (2004-2023) has good Feng Shui luck but needs to have certain sector neutralised to prevent illness/sickness. Given that t…

  5. These are some of the considerations:- 1. The superfical advice given by many Geomancers is : it is ok to tilt the door. However, care should be taken to determine the correct tilt! As tilting may be a double edged sword especially if it is tilted e.g. at an inauspicious angle. 2. Another method used by professional Geomancers is the placement of a piece of solid metal on the floor = but do take note that this is often used to correct say a direction is neither SE1 or SE2. 3. The more advanced or higher level "thinking" is that other then shapes and forms concern e.g. main door facing a stairs; such a tilt; especially for a landed property is only temporary. As often,…

Dear Trang, Can I confirm that there is a stair's landing and that this is included in the count of the number of steps? How wide is the staircase landing. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. For those who have not read this link on the number of recommended steps, please refer to: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-stairs.htm

  8. Dear Anon, To be truly honest, pending just a few lines of text (similar to what you had provided) is much like a wild guess. The information provided does not even remotely take into consideration many factors or lots of information are incomplete. Given this, sometimes, simply go with your instincts or bring along family members to view each home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Since this is a favourable sector for me, does this mean that I should locate my bed in the part of the master bedroom where the favourable sector is? Yes, where the sector is split, we normally try to position the bed closer to the sector that is favourable to you. Or in cases we try to determine which sector covers the room the most. Then determine whether the room is suitable or not. But where it is very in between, then we try to locate like bed closer to the good sector. Also you can arrange you…

Dear Anon, The Flying star apartment report is based on the idea that each floor or storey has a different qi flow. And this Flying Star analysis is known as "Vertical Flying Star Feng Shui". However, it has to be used in conjunction with "horizontal Flying star Feng Shui" or the regular 20 Year Flying Star analysis. Since you now see him more often, try to make the opportunity to be togetherness. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, To be honest, so far, if I am not wrongI cannot recall any Period 7 apartments that have both double #8's together at one sector. Although MS#8 or WS#8 does appear in different sectors but not double MS#8 with WS#8 for any of the 24 directions under Period 7. There are quite a few sectors under Period 8 that do have double #8's. Thus he did add any indication of what your facing direction is e.g. West 2 or East 2 etc.... Most likely the double #8's could refer to a possibility of changing the home to period 8? First and foremost, Feng Shui of any home is based on: location, location and location. The Flying Star numbers need to be read in conjuction with…

  16. Hello friends, thinking about multi-storey buildings with many apartments, it becomes difficult to decide about facing and sitting directions. For example, if the plot of land is facing 120 degrees SE, it may have entrance at 210 degrees SW and then that entrance leads to a hallway/corridor. On both sides of hallway, there are apartments. So one row faces 210 degrees SW (most windows, balcony open to 30 N), other row faces 30 degrees N (most windows, balcony open to 210 SW), another row windows/balcony is 300 NW. Attaching a diagram herewith, please see -> This is a six storey building. What can be the facing direction of Apartmen…

Dear Jo Yong, In general, 1. For the Flying star numbers, the most important point is to check all three numbers i.e. the base no.; the mountain # and the water # to see if they are in balance or out of balance. If it is out of balance, a cure would be needed e.g. ` 6 coins'. 2. Based on the 81 - Interpretations, mountain # and water # can be associated with an interpretation. Here, it is good to be aware of this when looking at the sector particularly if it is a place where one may spent time at. For example, where it happens to be the bed. 3. Usually, under the 20 year Flying Star analysis, a sector could be out of balance. We should then look at the yearly star to find…

  19. Dear Ren, It is acceptable to place a water feature, here as the location based on Flying star has the water wealth (current prosperity WS#8). Try to take note of the following:- 1. Since the sector has bad #2 with #5, it is good (if you are rearing gold fishes) for: either 6 gold and 1 black or 7 gold and 1 black. 2. There is a high chance that several of the gold fishes may die (sacrificed) due to #5. (Acceptable for this). 3. Never use any pyramid shaped fish tank. 4. Since this sector is south, never use any stand (or legs) that are blue or (dark or light blue) stand for the fish tank. Black or golden stand is acceptable, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: R…

    1. Many professional Feng Shui practitioners would strongly suggest that one draw at least two Flying Star charts for such a home. 2. As this subject of how easy to change a house's birth chart can be disputed both ways:- Argument 1: Some practitioners insist that do or die, only when the foundations are changed, then the house Feng Shui may change! Argument 2: One of the activities such as living it empty and re-occupying the home, in addition to giving it a fresh coat of paint. And removing the roof, and changing the main doors etc... Under argument 2, it is frankly difficult to say for sure what consititues a "thorough" change of a home's birth chart. As some sa…

The above is a new site using another specialized software to manage graphics. 3. While this forum is good at new postings, it does not concentrate on handling images. Thus, you may need to search between text and graphics. 4. Thus, the idea for a site completely dedicated to images was born. Images can be posted there and there is a Search engine for this purpose. The main URL is: http://mypictures.geomancy.net Currently, there are already more than 1,200 image…

    1. Hopefully the stove is not directlyat the NW cardinal point. Even still, this is considered as a major flaw while the NE missing corner is less serious. Both issues can be negated. But NW, can still be a "thorn" in the bush. 2. If the condo has more than Three major "leaks"; one is most likely on the way to "serious" issues.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: For a house constructed in period 7, the energy of star 7 will be strongest during period 7, but becomes weaker and weaker after period 7, even though the house did not undergo any renovation work to move it from period 7 to period 8. Is this correct? Yes, this is correct. This is because as you enter into period 8, the star 7 becomes your fading prosperity. Sothough your house chart may still be period 7, the luck will slowly fade away. Anonymous wrote: During period 7, usable stars are 1 and 4. Dear Chris, Please read below:- Please note that for flying star there is such difference between:- - 20-year flying star chart - yearly flying star chart - monthly flying star chart - daily flying star chart - & etc. Yes, no doubt that when you move from one period to the next range the flying star will change. i.e. if a building is built in period 7 (1984-2003) it will have a period 7 (20-year flying star chart). i.e. if a building is built in period 8 (2004-2023) it will have a period 8 (20-year flying star chart). However, the 20-year chart will not change unless you perform a major renovation. This means that if you have a house in period 6 and there has be…
