Hello, My Ba Zi is strong yin Earth Dragon my favourable elements are metal, wood, and water. My kua is 3 my favourable directions are north, east, south, and south-east. South is my sheng chi direction but it is also a fire direction. My Ba Zi tells me I do not need anymore fire. So should I avoid choosing a south facing house? Should I choose a house that is favourable to both my Ba Zi and Kua or choose a house using only my Kua? Thank you.

So I am compiling this information together to help users facing this problem to understand how to apply feng shui. A. APPLY GIVE AND TAKE APPROACH This is really a very common issue that most couples face. However, it isn't really too difficult to resolve. All you need to do is to apply the give and take solution. ie. The house must be favourable to the Breadwinner. So the breadwinner will gain luck from the…

In general, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is favourable for the whole building to have "clear-space" at the "frontage" and a solid object or mountain, behind it. Of course, another building can be the support. However, this is a general statement and does not mean that all buildings of such a nature may begood. Quote: Based on the design of the whole building, can we consider that the unit have a good backing aka mountain? Or does the "mountain" needs to come from another entity e.g. another building? Thank for your attention.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: In eight mansion, is it the facing direction of the main door or location sector of main door that is important? My original main door is located at SE sector which is good for kua 4 and facing E direction. I was asked to relocate to the other side which is NE sector(bad for me) but the door still faces E.The reason for relocation is because in flying star the orignaldoor is at W2M5. Firstly, you need to understand that both the eight house and flying star each has a purpose in the analysis:- 1. Flying Star assess the house to find out the luck of each part of the house. Similiar to where the ba zi assess the person's luck, the…

I believenowadays ppl do have the mentality of practicising "instant/fast result" FSthat wehave lost the patience to wait the results and assess the process and results. Maybe this is why some FS masters are more popular cos their FS teaching is more easily to graspe i.e. buy this to represent something and buy that to counter certain things.Maybe sometimes pplincluding myself are looking for something more tangible to grasp on. Just my personal pt of view. Still have a lotto learn fromppl likeMaster Lee. Thank again for your attention.

Please see attachment. House no. 22 Tosca Street. This house no. 22 Tosca Street has built a "buffer" at the house compound. For example, you can see the outline of the house with a generous compound at the location which may be affected by the T-junction. This house has built a buffer from the T-junction.

These are further considerations:- 1. Below are various illustrations to show or say that tilting a door especially to change the "facing direction" be it for : Flying Star and maybe what you had mentioned; your FS master's idea based on your Eight House suitability. http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29118&new=%3EHouse%20Hunting%20:%20A%20Lot%20Position%20-%20%3Cem%3EFeng%20Shui%3C/em 2. Usually, Feng Shui is a holistic approach: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks 3. And as a Feng Shui audit has various dimensions: 3.1. Compass School: Flying Star + Eight House and balancing each sector of your home. 3.2.…

1. In my opinion, based on past experience; duration of stay is another consideration. 2. Thus depending on other factors as what I had mentioned, previously; 3. If the overall Feng Shui (Shapes and Forms is average) and other factors like not fantastic Flying Star; coupled by duration of stay; usually the effects can be felt in the first six months and annual concerns in relation to health and fortune.

Hi Shi Fu! I can't seem to find any feng shui information on the hdb - fernspring. I'm intending to buy a resale flat there but am unsure if its a good plot of lane/a good unit. Would you be able to advise me? I'm looking at block 403c, mid level. I have been looking at the units in fern spring during my property search. Only manage to find the site plan from this forum - https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/16469-hdb-sengkang-fernvale-lane-blocks-403-and-404/ I'm not sure if the topiary condo structure will kinda negate the fengshui of the house as its just beside block 403c.

Dear Linda, 1. Usually, it is important to determine who is the `breadwinner' i.e. the person who earns the most money. If this is `clear-cut'; then it would be best if we are using the Eight House, to try to find a house that best suits this person. 2. If both partners are earning equally, then you should try to find a suitable house where: 2.1 if possible the death/disaster intangible force does not fall at the main entrance or the bedroom. It is acceptable still to have other intangible forces e.g. irritation at the main entrance door. 2.2 Thus look at the main entrance and especially the bedroom. Other than that, it is equally important to find a good home with good …

Dear Eoin, 1. Although some FS books e.g. author Evelyn Lip had mentioned, certain directions associated with certain occupations. 2. In others, for example, since metal (metal coins) are associated with banking, it was said that Banking outlets should face the `Metal' direction e.g. West or NW. 3. Again, it is said that since South represents `Fire'; business associated with Marketing / Sales should face this direction. 4. In real life, I believe it would be naive to simply look at the `best position' or rather best direction of the front door and associate it with any business. 5. Rather, the front door, should be looked at in relation to the whole business premises. 6.…

Dear Aj, 1. We should try to fit into the environment rather than letting the environment "fit into us." 2. Feng Shui is also about the `commonsense' approach i.e. placement of furniture should be logically feasible. 3. Shapes and Form FS is strongly based on `commonsense'. 4. The Eight House is just but one of the many concepts / theories behind FS. 5. By getting say, full marks for Eight House does not necesssary ensure that we can increase our `Earth Luck'. 6. When we look at each FS theory or concept, we should try to understand: 6.1 Its purpose and objective of its use. 6.2 Its strength and weakness 7. Under the Eight House Theory, we should not only be looking at t…

Dear Anon, It is not ideal to have such a situation. On a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, this is because of the fear of leakage e.g. leaking sewerage pipe etc.. However, if the pipes are in good condition and well maintained, this is still OK. Since, there is not much you can really reverse the process. More importantly, it is best to avoid placement of e.g. the dining table directly underneath the toilet bowl. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Since a house may have different facing direction (be it main door or living room/balcony). It really depends firstly on what you are assessing. ie. Assesment of interior of the feng shui can be taken from the centerpoint of the house to the main door. This way is good because the facing and sector of the main door will be same. However, this assesment is limited to assesing the feng shui only within the 4 walls of the house. ie. Assessment of the main door facing direction (ie standing at the main door looking out.) This is the for apartment level 2-7th level. This is where the main door may be facing North, but can be located in a different sector of the h…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Related to this topic, our house was built on period 7. (1989). We have experienced a string of bad luck in the past years since 98 from health problems to financial troubles to legal. Recently we asked a friend to take a look at the house and he says that the house was auspicious at the time it was built (luck from 'twin stars'), but that the stars 'died' in sometime 97-98. He also said that the stars were now like a black hole that was getting back all the luck that it had given out over the years (sort of like a black hole). He suggested a major renovation as a cure.
