Dear Luigi, Let me share my personal experience with "The Eight House Theory" 1. In the past, and even now, it is very tempting for many people in the West to Apply " Feng Shui " methods such as `fixed templates ' such as those of the Black Hat Sect. 2. Such " marketing ploys " are so easy to relate to and Applied. 3. In Traditional Feng Shui, or for Traditional Feng Shui to be "equally successful" it has also to be able to be Applied with ease. 4. To `counter' the explosion of `fixed template' " FS ", the two most successful Traditional FS models can give such `fixed templates' a "hard fight": 4.1 Shapes and Form Feng Shui 4.1.1 This form of FS, if illustrated very well …

In general, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is favourable for the whole building to have "clear-space" at the "frontage" and a solid object or mountain, behind it. Of course, another building can be the support. However, this is a general statement and does not mean that all buildings of such a nature may begood. Quote: Based on the design of the whole building, can we consider that the unit have a good backing aka mountain? Or does the "mountain" needs to come from another entity e.g. another building? Thank for your attention.

Hi Shi Fu! I can't seem to find any feng shui information on the hdb - fernspring. I'm intending to buy a resale flat there but am unsure if its a good plot of lane/a good unit. Would you be able to advise me? I'm looking at block 403c, mid level. I have been looking at the units in fern spring during my property search. Only manage to find the site plan from this forum - https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/16469-hdb-sengkang-fernvale-lane-blocks-403-and-404/ I'm not sure if the topiary condo structure will kinda negate the fengshui of the house as its just beside block 403c.

Dear Eoin, 1. Although some FS books e.g. author Evelyn Lip had mentioned, certain directions associated with certain occupations. 2. In others, for example, since metal (metal coins) are associated with banking, it was said that Banking outlets should face the `Metal' direction e.g. West or NW. 3. Again, it is said that since South represents `Fire'; business associated with Marketing / Sales should face this direction. 4. In real life, I believe it would be naive to simply look at the `best position' or rather best direction of the front door and associate it with any business. 5. Rather, the front door, should be looked at in relation to the whole business premises. 6.…

I have lived in my home for 8 years. I have recently become interested in feng shui due to a need to fix a few personal situations (health, finances, etc.) My initial investigation has revealed that I am a "north" person. My home faces west, which seems really bad. I really love the home, but I wonder if some of my issues are related to this incompatibility. Can it be enhanced in any way or do I really have do a major remodel or move?Would a professional consultant even be able to help me? Thanks ever so much for your help! -Brenda

Dear Stanley, 1. You have asked a very interesting question. In the past, I have mentioned that both `parties' are correct. Only the way it is interpreted. Please see below:- 2. I can certainly confirm that a `Sun' type of house has it's facing at the South-East. In fact, there is nothing wrong with both interpretations i.e. at this site and in Lillian Too's book. The description used here is based on a person using an ordinary compass (North-South compass). While what Lillian Too described is based on the `original' South-North model i.e. usually based on the Luopan. 3. Therefore, I feel that neither parties are wrong in this situation. 3. What is more important here is…

1. Sorry to learn about your plight! And nowadays, hear so much of the misery especially in the US. 2. I belive you should be in the US. As in Asia, especially my country, your conditition is nearly non-existent! 3. From your writing, you have showed that you are a very strong and determined person And a strong will to get yourself up and running again 4. My heart pains to hear what you had gone through! Usually those who have been there, see it all; is like "after the bitterness, hopefully comes the sweetness". 5. Thanks for correcting the error, will update as soon as possible 6. Frankly, Feng Shui cannot be universally effective all the time. The saying goes …

Hello Forum, We just bought a new home where our front door leads directly to our back door. some of our friends told us that's not good. What does it mean? What can we do to prevent bad "chi" in our home? Some advised us about placing plants but what kind of plants should we get and where can we exactly place the plants? Hoping for your response. Please see attachment. House no. 22 Tosca Street. This house no. 22 Tosca Street has built a "buffer" at the house compound. For example, you can see the outline of the house with a generous compound at the location which may be affected by the T-junction. This house has built a buffer from the T-junction.

Dear Anon, 1. The 4 good / bad directions or commonly known as Eight House Theory and the Flying Star Feng Shui both belong to the Compass School of Feng Shui. 2. The difference is that the 4 good directions concept is personalised to an individual i.e. good or bad directions. 3. While the Flying Star Feng Shui looks at the birth chart of the house. Here, under the Flying Star chart of a house, if the house as imbalances, these imbalances should be cured or neutralised. And this is distinct from a peron's good or bad direction. For example, a sector can be the `death' sector of a person. And for example, this sector also has bad Flying Stars e.g. #5 misfortune, sickness …

In my opinion, plot 14 may be more "vulnerable" to risks such as sha qi from the cul-de-sac etc...

Dear Anon, Frankly, the situation you face is very common for many of us. As Feng Shui is not based on just one concept, alone. Thus, in order to have a more balanced view of how well your home "perform". Under Feng Shui, try as much as you can to use a holistic approach to find out the "health" of the home. For example, how is the "Shapes and Forms" like for your home. How can you benefit from Flying Star of your home etc... Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Hello, I just recently purchased a home. I did an eight house analysis on myself. It turns out that, even though the entrance more or less faces an ideal cardinal point, my bedroom is right in bet…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Related to this topic, our house was built on period 7. (1989). We have experienced a string of bad luck in the past years since 98 from health problems to financial troubles to legal. Recently we asked a friend to take a look at the house and he says that the house was auspicious at the time it was built (luck from 'twin stars'), but that the stars 'died' in sometime 97-98. He also said that the stars were now like a black hole that was getting back all the luck that it had given out over the years (sort of like a black hole). He suggested a major renovation as a cure. Dear Andrew, Andrew Leon wrote: I am purchasing a conversion condo (an apartment in a building that was built in 1974) but that are doing a full renovation inside (wall painting, new appliances, new kitchen and bathroom furniture, new floor) the apartments to be sold as a condo. Should I take 1974 as house age or should I start from the date of the renovation (2005-2006)? Since there will be quite a lot of renovation work, you should take the start of the renovation (ie period 8 2004-2023) as the new birth chart of the house. Andrew Leon wrote: The condo (it's a two stories (2nd-3rd floor) apartment) main door facesEast (90 degrees), but from the center of the apartmen…

Hi Robert, thank you for the advice. You indicated that the house might have quarrel stars. Is there anyway torectify this ? Is it because the house is not suitable for the previous owner (clashes with their Ba Zi) or the house itself has problems which caused the rift in their marriage ? How can I get a proper and more detailed analysis on the house suitability ? Thank you.
