Greetings, Sir! I just want to know how to compass the house and where should I stand when doing the compass.According to my friend, just find where the sun rises and that would be the East. I want to compass it after I got a report of Feng Shui Pillars from your site and for me to find out where I should properly locate myself inside my house especially during the sleeping hour. Thank you very much and more power to your site. Respectfully, Juvy

I believenowadays ppl do have the mentality of practicising "instant/fast result" FSthat wehave lost the patience to wait the results and assess the process and results. Maybe this is why some FS masters are more popular cos their FS teaching is more easily to graspe i.e. buy this to represent something and buy that to counter certain things.Maybe sometimes pplincluding myself are looking for something more tangible to grasp on. Just my personal pt of view. Still have a lotto learn fromppl likeMaster Lee. Thank again for your attention.

Dear Karen, I had previously written a short write-up of how a traditional Feng Shui audit is conducted especially in the Far East. If you like to review the material, go to this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/fsaudit.htm In this short review, I also highlighted that the review in this article is ONLY a guideline. As Feng Shui Home Audits may vary with individual Feng Shui practioners. Before engaging a Feng Shui Auditor, always ask them questions like which Feng Shui `technique' he/she is using. If the Feng Shui audit also provides you with a Pillars of Destiny report e.g. for the whole family, you should also check how `deep' is the analysis. This is because some Geom…

1. In my opinion, based on past experience; duration of stay is another consideration. 2. Thus depending on other factors as what I had mentioned, previously; 3. If the overall Feng Shui (Shapes and Forms is average) and other factors like not fantastic Flying Star; coupled by duration of stay; usually the effects can be felt in the first six months and annual concerns in relation to health and fortune.

Dear Glyn, Yes, a Crane is a symbol of longevity. And peace itself is a also another symbol of longevity There is actual a very long story about this. And also there are difference in the various combinations. Example, two cranes flying up towards the sun express the wish that the recipient of the picture may rise high and lots more of other combinations. Anyway, you can place such paintings in your home. Both as a form of relaxation of your mind especially when looking at painting as well as a form of good health symbol. Warmest Regards Robert Lee.

URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm We have already put up posting rules that information against posting us with date and time of birth, as it is like asking us to do a full review for you. In such cases, this belongs more to a can or cannot buy type of advise, rather than free advise. We are looking for a flat which is having main entrance with a small lobby in the south-west qua…

Dear Cecil, I understand that kitchen is best located in the 4 bad direction of the patriach's kua number. However since we have a link house and the kitchen is in one of his best direction i.e Fu Wei. My question is how can we practice feng shui in such situation? Is the placement of stove or oven need to be in the 4 bad directions too? Thanks

Dear Emilio, Under the Eight House Theory, frankly there is not much you can do if your bedroom is located in the Death area. The only way is to sleep close to the prosperity sector (if possible) or any other good intangible force. As for the main entrance door area in the `irritation' area: 1. The house is under the Eight House Theory considered an unsuitable house. But is is not as bad as having the death or disaster line located at this area. If so, the house would be considered a very unsuitable house. 2. As the main entrance is located at the South-West or we call this the devil's backdoor. This location is considered a YIN location and avoid planting too many plants…

Dear Cecil, Thank you for answering my questions; however, your answer rose other curiosities. In my previous message I described my main entrance: upon entering there is a narrow staircase at the end of which I enter the living space at my left. Now, according to what you have written, it seems to me that you believe that the main entrance is actually the opening at the top of the staircase and not the door at the bottom of the staircase(it's a 2nd floor apt). Would that be true? Plus, is the position of the main door determined by the actual cardinal point it faces or by the position it is located within the eight house theory square(sorry if confusing)? I also read tha…

Dear Mark, 1. A neutral colour such as white would be acceptable to keep the house cum office bright especially if you are using it for `white' collar work. 2. You can use the free Flying Star house number at www.geomancy-online.com to check the Flying Star of the second storey. 3. If you have a rough sketch of the U shaped, you can always upload under the `Conference for Attachment'. And if possible the description of the slope. Ideally, a `U' shaped house cum office has an imbalanced Qi. Ideal shape is (if possible, square or rectangle). But I believe, there could be a constrain for this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: We found an apartment with main door facing -South West which is our "Prosperity" facing. However ALL the bedrooms are inSouth East direction, which is our "Dealth" facing according to Eight House Theory. Anonymous wrote: Should we only focus on main door or the rooms direction is equally important when selecting the house? Ideally, the breadwinner should have a house that suits him and avoid the bedroom location to be death or disaster if that is possible. Having the bedroom facing death facing means the house does not entirely suit the breadwinner. If it is at least spook or irritation, at least not so bad. A good house should suit …

Dear Anon, Under the Eight House Theory, since you are an East House person, South is considered your Prosperity Section. Here, in terms of how suitable are to your house, since it is your prosperity sector, this house is considered suitable to you (especially if you are the breadwinner). However, it is best to check which intangible force is located at your bedroom area. Where best it should also be one of your good sectors. Other than knowing the above, you may have to consider using other theories such as the Flying Star to analyse the birth chart of the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, It is not ideal to have such a situation. On a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, this is because of the fear of leakage e.g. leaking sewerage pipe etc.. However, if the pipes are in good condition and well maintained, this is still OK. Since, there is not much you can really reverse the process. More importantly, it is best to avoid placement of e.g. the dining table directly underneath the toilet bowl. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In such a situation, where possible close the main entrance door after use. At the same time, keep the area `bright' to maintain more `yang' or `vibrant' location. If this is the south area, the wall could be painted `neutral white' or pale pink. What can I do to

Dear Vivian, First of all, sorry for the late reply as I was pondering over your problem. Bases on existing analysis under only the Eight House theory, both of you are S/W persons, and North = Death, South = Irritation and East = Death line. The next thing you need to know is that although your house runs from a North to South line, you should consider the centrepoint of the house also i.e. North line stops at the `centre' of the house. Please see below:- Under the eight house theory, you should also determine whether the midpoint is before your bedroom. Next evaluate your bed position. I understand from the above that you mentioned your bed is at the North-West locat…

Dear Cecil, Thanks for your reply. I managed to change her bed to N.East corner and that seems to have helped her. She has her head pointing to N.East. According to 8 house theory NE is her disaster side! Do i try and change again or leave it as it is? Kind regards, Anon.

This is an interesting question sent in by Glyn:- " I notice that Lillian Too and you differ or am I wrong. On reviewing an eight house chart, your website states that for this particular person W= prosperity,NW = Excellent. However, she considers W = Excellent (Sheng Chi) and that the front door should be in that area and that Excellent (Fu Wei) is the least auspicious of the four good sectors. Interesting. " This is the reply from Robert:- Hmm. Do you know that traditional Eight House Theory (or in Chinese San Yuan Di Li - talking about Zai Yun), states that whichever is your front door direction is actually considered your Fu Wei, it is the basics of where the rest of …
