Dear Fraser, (This is not directed towards your message). I like to highlight that colours and its symbolish are secondary to Feng Shui. What is more important is to get the basics correct especially the following areas:- 1. Under the Shapes and Form School, it is best that the site enjoys good Feng Shui e.g. under the Four symbolic Animals Concept etc... 2. Under the Flying Star, there are no bad influences and if so, do correct them. 3. Any adverse sha or pointed arrows pointing towards your main entrance door or windows. The above are the main influences of Feng Shui. The rest like clothing etc... are secondary. Warmest Regards, Cecil -----Original Message----- From: L…

Dear Fraser, Actually, you can do a free pillars of destiny report at http://www.geomancy-online.com to determine your birth element. Anyway, your birth element is earth. If you are a weak earth, the fire is good for you. Otherwise, metal is good for you. Actually, I think you do not really have to be so concerned about the bathroom. Areas which you should be more concerned with is with things that you spend more time with. Example your own bedroom and items you wear or carry. These are more important to suit yourself then the colour of your bathroom. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

From a Feng Shui point of view: always try to avoid buying a unit in a block where the overhead tracks or roads directly curve towards you. (the unit). For example, if the attached tracks are on the same level as the 4th storey flat; and it curves towards it; let's hope there are other objects such as large trees to buffer this curve.

Dear Anna, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'feng-shui-tips' suppressed 'feng-shui-tips' suppressed> Date: Tuesday, June 01, 1999 11:36 PM Subject: entrance facing line of death 1. My advise is that the next thing you should do is to also look at which intangible force affects you in your bedroom. Hopefully, it is one of the auspicious intangible force. 2. Today, another user also faced the same problem i.e. main door is at SW and an inauspicious intangible force. Currently, I cannot really advise you futher as we are currently working on only the Eight House Theory. Other theories such as the Flying Star (birth ch…

Dear All, 1. In a house hunting effort, a client asked me to comment on this layout plan as they were really interested in this apartment. 2. This is because, the owners are selling it at a very attractive price - very much below valuation. 3. Fortunately, they had asked for a layout plan and asked for an opinion on it. 4. This house is similar to the sketch provided in the attached: slopingsidewall1.gif 5. This apartment can be considered as entrapped or sandwiched in the block of flat. There is a huge missing corner. 6. Such an entrapped house implies: financial distress. True enough, the current owners were forced to sell the house because of financial problems. In add…

Fake Energy Watch: Most likely sap the $$$$ & energy of a hardworking person! When the buying Stops! The selling Can! Feng Shui Masters selling such rubbish will certainly continue to give Feng Shui a bad name! What rubbish: “Good afternoon Mr Cecil! I managed to get your contact number through your website. The reason why I am contacting you is to bring feng shui masters onboard to distribute this energy watch pricing at $1288. Your commission for each watch sold will be 80% which is roughly $1k.”

1. In my many encounters with various clients: parents with young children and parents with teenagers:- 1.1. In this attachment; see how teenagers and young children view their world especially that of their home. 1.2. For example; young children are very innocent and think differently from us adults and teenagers. In this attachment; there are quite alot of children be it timid or love their parents madly (who does not!): If they were given their say; some would position their bed-heads close to the bedroom door: so that they can be 'as close" to their parents as possible. 1.3. If can no longer sleep with you; they want to phsycially sleep with their heads and eye…

Dear All, Besides accessing the exterior of the building (the environment, the site and the building/interior), for business: 1. Sole Proprietorship/Partnerships/Private Ltd Companies The date/time of birth of the Sole Proprietor/Partners are also looked at. 2. Public Listed Companies Often, in addition to accesing the exterior and interior of the building, the assessment is also made with reference to the I-Ching. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In this tip, you will understand that proper Feng Shui practises can help a business in:- 1. To improve a business or let it remain healthy. 2. Promote harmonious relationships in the office. 3. Improve `clarity' and purpose i.e. the focused objectives of the company. The other indirect benefits would include the following:- 1) minimise on accidents, fire and other misfortunes or disasters including theft or burglary. 2) reduce high staff turnover and absenteeism. 3) legal entanglements. Applicable also to a home office environment Warmest Regards, Cecil

Before getting that great layout of yours signed-off! Always superimpose e.g. the ground floor layout onto the second storey and look out for the location of the stove(s) and toilets and vice-versa. Often, this is to check on whether the 2nd storey toilet is directly above the main door and/or dining table and/or altar and/or bed location on the ground floor etc...

Dear Stephanie, Frankly, there are `limited' Feng Shui theories that can be applied to a dorm room. Other than some of the following:- 1. Ideally, your dorm room should not be situated at the West or have your study desk on the West wall for two reasons:- - If there is no shade for the west wall, the room can be quite hot (Particularly, under a country with hot climate or no airconditioning). - West location under the bagua is considered a Yin location more for sleeping. If you do not need to study late in the evening in this room, this is acceptable. 2. Under Feng Shui, books act like `cutting' knives or blades so best is not to have books facing your body or face both…

Feng Shui of HDB BTO Skyline 1 & 2 @ Bukit Batok Flying Star Feng Shui & the zone of Emptiness. So what's wrong if my apartment falls between the borderline of two sectors. ... For example: Block 296A stacks #62 & #64 found to be facing compass direction 22 degrees. Here, when the block is completed, it could either be in-between or belong to one of these sectors:- Flying Star N3 7.5 degrees to 22.4 degrees or Flying star NE1 22.4 degrees to 37.4 degrees What is worse, if the apartment falls exactly between N3 or NE1? This is known as an "Empty" home i.e. neither here nor there: no man's land.... If so, this is considered a "broken" home and wi…

Worked example of a previous TOP apartment at The Canopy in Yishun Key Summary of this unit: 1. This unit faces West, sitting East with the double auspicious wealth stars #8's at it's frontage. ... 2. A water position can be placed in the balcony to boost the wealth luck of this unit. 3. Main Entrance with a passage way at NE sector: 3.1. If a cabinet e.g. shoe cabinet is to be constructed to the left-side of the main door; then it is "Nice-to" use the Feng Shui ruler to measure an auspicious width for the remaining space. 1. In Singapore, this fact is not widely recognized or publicized. 2. When I first began practicing Feng Shui many years ago, I was fascinated by the auspicious measurements of the main entrance doors in the First Generation HDB flats. 3. Disregarding the grille gate of this particular home, the width of the entrance is considered auspicious according to the Feng Shui Ruler. Even when taking into account the support frames on both sides of the main door, it remains auspicious. 4. The origins of this phenomenon are unknown. It is possible that it occurred unintentionally. It is likely that a Chinese furniture maker or manufacturer was assigned to design an e…

Dear All, 1. Our quest to learn or apply Feng Shui is based on this premise: " Try to learn and apply as much as we can : those concepts and princples that work for MOST PEOPLE, MOST OF THE TIME ". This is the only Guarantee Feng Shui can provide us. 2. We often hear "I was told, this FIGURINE is good for me." Or buy this ... figurine.. " It works wonders!" Working "wonders" can mean different things for different people. It certainly works " Wonders " for the seller, who will profit from the sale. Have we ever wondered... why is it that a product can do us wonder BUT, there is no guarantee attached to it. For example, a price tag could say " Buy me, and you will be guara…
